what they really don't know is, James Gunn won't fail, that guy understand comic book movies, someone that had the opportunity to pick any movie and still chose suicide squad, with the fact the first one wasn't accepted alot of director will have distance themselves from it, but baba was able to make an entertaining movie even made Harley Quinn look better, was able to make a spin off from it with a acor I have never liked in a lead role.

This same man was like the deputy for kelvin fegie o. I'm very excited for what they have for DC, both DC heads, I can't wait to see his movie slate

He knows the amount of backlash he will receive if he openly say he's doing an origin story for the new Superman. There is no way he will tell the early part of Superman or Clark Kent without giving us something of his "beginning". He will avoid the word: origin so as to not piss off more of the already angered DC fans.

they seem to forget the MCU isn't James Gun plan, it's kelvin feg. Ppl also seen to forget James Gunn as also directed movies outside of CBM, the MCU was a learning. Platform for JG, he knows what worked, what didn't and the issue they are having over there, and he won't be stupid to mirror exactly what they have at MCU, he will certainly want to do something different that standout.

I'm so happy for the total reboot, how the fans thought if a 10yrs franchise with Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck? It won't have made sense.
Younger actors and a build up is the best approach. I'm just so happy na 2 ppl dey in control, they will complement each other. And they seem to be closely working togther.

The story wasn't bad per se but the screenplay that's where the issue comes from and subpar acting. It's got really nice visuals no doubt.

The problem with black adam was a bad story, weak villain and bad acting from that boy, Freddy freeman in Shazam was charming, a better actor who made Shazam a better movie. I just saw black adam last night again, it's an action driven movie and not story driven. O boy! The visuals were nice in HD.

His works has not been anything close to amazing in the old DCEU if we are being honest with ourselves. Keep the sentiment of being a DC fan aside and you'd see his DC movies were problematic.
We as fans might love his films but general audience which matters most and responsible for franchises success have issues with his films.

I like Zack Snyder's movies; heck I love 300 and Watchmen. MOS was good, ZSJL was really good (I'm not judging it by Whedon's utter crap) but BVS ain't a good movie. It's not as bad as most people make it seem but it ain't great either. It's just there. But it's action scenes are quite good.

Storywise Zack lacks the qualities to make an engaging film franchise. His films are good when looking at it individually, but taking it as a whole, there are major cracks with his style of storytelling.

There are many decisions Snyder took that are serious bottlenecks to building out a franchise like DC.
Take his decision to kill off Dick Grayson — someone that would have been a major character and expansion to Batman's lore. We haven't even seen the character once!
People have issues with his Superman characterization. Also, Clark watching on while his dad was killed in MOS is another talking point asides from Superman being moody.

Killing Superman in the second movie we just saw him isn't a wise move whether you're resurrecting him in the future or not. The symbolism of his death he was trying to portray had no impact or depth to the viewer as we are yet to even familiarise and care about this Supes. Heck that movie is the reason we have the prime "Martha meme". That movie seriously underperformed in the box office when you take into account that it was the first time ever audiences are seeing Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman on screen together.

These are things one should consider when building a franchise especially one that already has source material lying in ground to explore. If you don't follow it or show little regard to the lore, you'd run into problems. See how Amazon's LOTR adaptation is having issues with fans, see GOT's last season, The Witcher lost Cavill for not being faithful to the source material.

Heck even Henry Cavill that just returned to DCU has been saying he looks forward to playing a "hopeful" Superman for the past two weeks. What does that tell you. Zack hasn't done anything in comic book franchise to hint you of that "hopefulness" you're looking for.
The problem with Zack he overthinks things and ruin something that should have flown naturally.

All these and we're not even taking into consideration about his cult fandom that attacks other creatives and claims other directors wins as his.

If he's eventually called back in the future (which I doubt WB will do) I don't have much issues with him doing a few films. I even fancy him directing the Black Adam movie even tho I'm yet to watch it.
But for heading a franchise? Fvvk no.

Honestly, to me it's best we move on from Snyder. Bringing him back is simply inviting all the issues and the problems of the past regime when we're hoping to get a clean slate.

Let's be realistic u had Affleck Batman, u had Cavill superman, u had cyborg, these are established characters already, u were practically doing nothing with them, then u decide to green light batgirl supergirl and wondertwins. This guy is saying we want to focus on the universe and interconnect things, drive the DCEU with the top characters, and definitely introduce other characters as things progresses.

Even the plan to make HBO continue as a premium subscription network is flawed with the fact that HBO premium customers are now reduced to just 5mn in the US. So how will the network grow.

The only thing keeping me happy and a bit calm is the return of Alan Horn back at WB. He's very experienced in Hollywood as well as the blockbuster movies. He's an expert hitmaker and planner.

That's just what's holding me back from going full ballistics on that man and hope wiser counsel prevails.

But having Keaton back as the official DCEU Batman is a turn-off to me and many fans too.

Batfleck is on his way out and morons thought the best way to replace him is to bring back Keaton.

But WB were effectively setting up a universe where Batman and Gordon are age mates.

It's a terrible idea and it killed all the remaining hype I had for Batgirl.

but after I saw the statement from the director and considering they made Ms marvel, I think it's hard to believe the movies will be that bad. I like their creativity in Ms marvel, even the VFX were good. U think there is something WB isn't telling us Abt the whole of this.

If Affleck truely have been gotten back, then that is the only explanation, cus I think MK was potrayed as the main batman in the movie, it's possible they don't want that anymore, but Affleck could have easily reshort is role, but then the budget will rise again. So now you're measuring comic book stories to live-action/movies I guess. Don't ever do that cause (almost) anything can go in cartoons, but not movies.
People are practically losing interest in even your MCU because there are too many disconnected things going on simultaneously, but they want you to believe they are perfectly connected...
1. Who's the current leader(s)/avengers in their current point....
2. They made their disnay+ MCU series villains look like MCU's movies A-level threats, yet they used class F heroes to handle the situations without even calling the big guns, and also they hardly mention these F class heroes' names when the real heroes (MCU's movies) handle same threats.
3. 90% of characters in their series don't make it to the big screen (even when they make them look so important and big) or their names are not even mentioned in subsequent movies, for example, White Vision, U.S. Agent: Captain America, and many others. I know they will say they are keeping them for later, but their events were supposed to play into the MCU's next movies that followed those series or be mentioned since they practically share the same universe, if not the same country sef...
I love how those agents were chasing after Kamala because of her gain power, but turn blind eyes and deaf eyes to White Vision who has been roaming around...
The truth is that too many characters definitely give headaches and you know what headache brings...
