You dont need PPR letter, spouse lease agreement and account statement again madam. Others are in line.

Just keep mailing them. It can take days weeks or months.

Please I need your thought on my husband's application. I am a student in Canada hence we applied for sowp for hubby although i was not married when i applied for study permit. We applied for his sowp with all documents needed but they requested for additional documents "proof of relationship". Anyways, this is the summary of progress so far, please tell me what you think about it cos I am loosing my patience:

Additional document request: July 13, 2022
Review of additional document started: August 5,2022
Additional document status changed to "Not Applicable" same day, August 5, 2022

Not adviceable because if u need to extend the date or have reasons for cancellation wakanow wont give u that opportunity. Check fares on wakanow and book directly from the airline. I had similar issues over a year ago now. I was coming to canada then and it was the era that CBSA required u to come one month before resumption and my resumption then was sept 1 and my flight was july 27th just becos of 3days turkish airline refused to airlift me. So i went back to wakanow dey said no more space. After lots of back and forth different treats to them about publicizing them on twitter and in the online space they now agreed to give me another flight for august 3rd now with double my initial booking fee. I booked then 365k in may for july now i was to pay additional 450k to fly for august 3rd. But friends that booked with the airline the airline just rescheduled without additional fees since it was not a no show

My hubby recently applied for his sowp using a gckey he created (my gckey for my student application was revoked, i dunno when I made that mistake though). Now I want to apply for my study permit extension and im thinking of using his own gckey since we are a couple, hopefully that will fast track his application (just me thinking). Do you think it is advisable to use his gckey to apply for my extension or i should create a new gckey for myself? Please I need to know as this is urgent for me. Thank you so much.

You need to reactivate ur old account. Although i dont have a 1st hand experience on study permit extension but i believe extending it on ur portal is better for u

My spouse is in UK and we applied for him to come join me. Upon application submission, processing time from uk was 10weeks, now its 12weeks. This is our 10th week and nothing has started on our application. No upfront medicals passed, no eligibility review, nothing.

Un employment may and may not affect depends on other factors. Each persons situation is different

You need to submit it with evidence of payment of transmission fee and also consent form

Yes you need to submit evidence of payment of 9410 and the consent forms must be filled and signed by the principal applicant. Also the principal applicant can add a photocopy of her biometric slip.

Yes your 5year old will do medical even my 2year old did when he was 16months.
Upfront medical is war now oooo. Abuja is ur sure plug. But if u can wait a while that is if u still have time u can book now submit the application and send the medical via webform and email

Items to have handy with you as you travel include:
1. International passports
2. Travel tickets
3. Covid-19 Card for adults or negative test results (if not vaccinated). Children who accompany a vaccinated adult will not be required to quarantine.
4. Principal applicant's documents such as copy of international passport, copy of study/work visa, copy of study/work permit, admission/employment letter, enrolment letter, etc
5. Cash or print out of bank statement as proof of funds
6. ArriveCan print out. Must show a quarantine plan, notwithstanding
7. Letters of Introduction

Congratulations. I totally agree with your verdict o. Even when my children's passport has been stamped and counterfoil dropped yesterday still those guys no wan release my husband's PPR, his BVL has dropped since two weeks ago. It's so frustrating, I don't know what next to do.

Keep mailing them back to back as well sending webforms too. In my own case in two weeks they got 28 emails from me and 28 webforms

Is it risky to travel with a work permit that will expire two weeks after arrival? Will the border officers raise eyebrow?

Permit expires 30th September. Flight booked for 15th September.

As far as it is valid at the point of entry u dont have issues. IRCC saw that before they gave you nah

I initially applied for a tourist visa on February 19th because of the short processing time as of then. When there was no response, I had to apply for SOWP on July 7th and PPR on August 10th few days after my birthday.

His study permit has been approved and passport stamped, LOI dropped and medical validity was July 28. So medical has expired.
He already booked his flight to travel for August 15, but already has another medical done at IOM, Ikeja.
Would he need to wait for his new medicals to be updated to pass before he can travel,
Or he just have to carry with him d medic sheet.

He should take the proof of new medical along with him. If asked at the border he can show the proof. And also he should send the e-medical sheet to IRCC via email and webform so that it will be updated.

Haaa lols it dropped 24 hrs after counterfoil

Hi guys please how long does it take to get LOI after passport stamp. Counterfoil has dropped since yesterday. Passport is enroute back to lagos but LOI is still hanging.

I really doubt they stamp in Nigeria both in Abuja and in Lagos office, only in Nairobi. What I think is that the head office is in Abuja and therefore all passports pass through that office maybe for final verification before they send to Nairobi.

So they fly passports to nairobi everyday and back? I doubt that because nairobi is more than 6hrs flight

I BELIEVE AND STAND TO BE CORRECTED THIUGH THAT THERE IS A STAMPING OFFICE IN ABUJA. BECAUSE IF IT IS KENYA LAGOS VAC PASSPORTS DONT NEED TO GET TO ABUJA FIRST BEFORE GOING TO NAIROBI BECAUSE WE HAVE FLIGHTS TO NAIROBI FROM LAGOS.

Hi, please, how many days does Visa Stamping take. Vfs sent an email on 20 th of July that it has reached Abuja and been sent to the IRCC office for processing since then no update. I tried tracking yesterday and it Says Under process with the Canada Visa Office then I tried tracking today and it says No record found. What does that mean?

You can check in three places
1. Check your portal to see if u have counterfoil and loi
2. Track with ur courier to see if it has been returned to them
3. Contact vsf via email they will respond in two working days
4. Call vsf but am sure they wont pick the call
