Note wife is the student. She s still in Nigeria planning to travel for September
She applied for study permit with our first child in May 2021 while pregnant with our second born. Which was birth Sept,2021
Her approval didn't come out till Jan 2022.

We intend to address this refusal reason.

Am not a vo but from the bolded above i will also refuse the application. You cannot want to bring in ur family and not have ur personal funds. Ask almost everyone here ur personal statement of account is required either urs or ur spouse own. Uncle how? Thats not a acceptable. U are not studying u are going to be responsible to someones finances which is that of ur spouse already in canada. The best now is borrow money to build ur spouse account or wait till he can afford to put his own money in the account either ways his statement of account and urs is required especially if he claims u are working or doing business.
Note that he also needs to show proof of tuition payment too when he reapplies for you or when u reapply as well as some money for his upkeep. Now you need 5k cad for yourself and 4kcad per child. So since it is u and him plus one child i guess then an excess of 15k cad with evidence of tuition payment shud fly.

THEN YOU CAN NOW SEND ANOTHER WEBFORM ATTACHING THE DOCUMENTS THAT @SWEETJJ LISTED AS WELL AS A DETAILED LETTER OF EXPLANATION TOO. ALSO TRY AND GET A PASSPORT FOR THE CHILD ASAP BECAUSE THE PROCESS IS MORE THAN AN HERCULEAN TASK.

I used same GCkey that I used for my Study visa last year. I didn't create new GCkey for my family Application .

Also, can merge other documents to the various sections? For instance, in the space where you have "Passport" can i merge previous visas with it?

U fill it online please do not sign it use the latest adobe reader it will work. The only authentication needed is your name i think.

For canada visa application dual intent is allowed so far the visa types are not of the same category. So having Express entry application and sowp or vv is allowed

Letter of purpose also know as statement of purpose to the VO for a fresh applicant that is a first time applicant, while Letter of explanation LOE is to accompany an initial sop for a second or third time applicant whose initial visa application was denied. This letter is to explain the concerns raised by the VO and how best you have worked on it and made the required ammendments

Please do I need to send the e-medical slip given to my family at qlife to ircc before their medicals can be updated?

They did their medicals last week Thursday but it's yet to be updated by IRCC

My advice is that u call qlife and plead with then to send the result on time because even if u send the e-medical form no VO will update your profile except when the hospital results arrive. There are cases where one might need to do extra medical due to one situation or the other and as a result no VO will base his approval on just you doing the medical exam. Anyway that is why it is called examination because they are concerned about the results. So the medical will not be updated until IRCC receives the doctors report.

Submitting 3months statement might not work oo why not make it the least of 4months. Reasons for him to come join you should be emotional showing u need him to settledown and to help u cope emotionally. If you have kids u can come from the angle that u might not be completely focus knowing fully well your kids are away.
Talk about the bond u share and all the things u guys do together.
Your hometies also matters alot in making this happen. He must also provide a very strong home tie

it all depends on the airline i think ....some connecting flights that uses Air Canada to final destinations are have issues on faring prices for extra luggages ....As for me am thinking of sea shipping most of my extras and travel with allowed luggage.....heard it takes about 2weeks
Make concrete upfront information to avoid issues on travel day....

Because the ET airline stops at Toronto and the connecting flight to the destination is Aircanada.
Will aircanada charge for any additional luggage?

U can ask when u get to the airline desk in the airport it shouldnt be more than 300usd though. I did do extra luggage twice one was 100usd British airways and another was 296 USD turkish airlines.

He was denied because the VO was not satisfied he will leave Canada based on personal asset and financial status, purpose of visit, current employment situation and travel history.

Madam you already have a smoking gun so the ball is now in ur court. Since your study permit has been approved your best bet is sowp. Let me tell you why, becos your hubby has applied for study permit before the Vo might see a visit visa as been submitted out of desperation so my suggestion of SOWP. Now if i were you i would suggest u apply nigeria before you go so it starts counting. Once you are an internayional student whether college or university you can invite your spouse but how you go about it determines the success of the whole process. I applied while i was still in nigeria like 2weeks before finally i travelled last year july. And as we speak my kids application has been approved and my spouse got a medical request becos her initial medical expired on june 22 still hoping for her approval though but it looks good. When you apply u can add the remaining documents when u arrive Canada via webform i mean study permit and SIN.

Good idea but the proof of fund can only work if u do either of two things
1. Pay ur tuition or a tuition deposit from that account
2. Or the compnay transfer from that account the equivalent of ur tuition or living expenses to your account now in this case you need to keep the transaction reference date and time put it in ur sop and also attach a bank receipt for the transaction as evidence.
If you use method 1, u need to also state it in ur sop date and time and also provide a transaction evidence as well as school receipt. My opinion oooo.

Regarding this PCR test, my husband is on his way to Canada now and he's flying Egypt air.
He didn't do Covid/PCR test but they asked for it at 3 different points. He said he just presented his vaccination card and the ArriveCan email, and that was it. I don't know if we can conclude that these 2 documents can suffice in place of the PCR test.

Congratulations. I want to totally disagree with you, Canada isn't anything close to what you just term it to be and Nigeria isn't either. Visit Australia, Germany or Malaysia or Singapore and you would change that. If not for our govt.

Singapore is beautiful i agree but the language barrier is a problem. Sincerely canada no fine reach singapore and australia but all of them nah back of heaven lols because there is peace and tranquility. To cap it up the weather in australia is sweet lols

Ur sowp was approved right? You can allow IRCC to withdraw or cancel it for you or they can send you a mail to withdraw it. If your passport has been stamped for the sowp you can also withdraw it by going to the webform and choose the option of withdraw application it will be withdrawn.

In addition to your proposal below, add birth certificates of birth of your parents and siblings. Show pictures of you and your parents together and then that of your siblings. State how you support your parents (financially and otherwise) and how much you would return to Nigeria to continue to care for them.

1. You need covid 19 test to enter the plane but not to enter canada. At the point of entry they wont require covid 19 test from you but to enter the plane it remains a requirement.
2. You do not need to book a return ticket you sowp can easily be renewed within Canada so a return ticket is not required.

In my previous application I included my house documents and my lands all on my name, but I just did affidavit of return after study

leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• You do not have significant family ties outside Canada

Now i will strongly suggest you request for your GCMS notes it will be more specific on what the thoughts of the VO is. Aside this i will like to ask do you have ur nuclear family members in Canada already? If yes then you need to look for a stronger bond to tie yourself to nigeria. Using your spouse if you eventually get married isnt a good idea because i am sure you will eventually want her to be with you and these VOs will be trying to make sure ur ties dont leave.
Now the job offer could be used as a strong bond of return along side the affidavit of return as well as your properties if well channelled. Get the job offer, get and introduction letter from the same establishment stating what you are doing there, how much you earn per annum and your contibution to the establishment. Get another letter again from the same company stating their support for your studies and this will include them putting in writing that they will support your studies abroad by still paying your renumeration while on study leave and that upon return you will be given full benefits with a promotion to a higher position and a salary raise. Now in your LOE you will need to put a legal tune on the bond of return that your career hinges on it in that if you dont return they could sue you and sue your guarantor that stood for you while you were away and this will badly affect your career and could also land your guarantor a jail term. Let a lawyer sign and get it notorized.
Then you will need to do an evaluation of all your properties in ur name let them know the worth in cash signed by a lawyer and notorized by a notory public.
