RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL, MONDAY 6TH FEBRUARY 2023. Pastor Chris THEME: THERE’S AN URGENCY THEME SCRIPTURE: And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14). One important thing the Holy Spirit is causing the Church to do in these last days is to speed up the preaching of the Gospel. This Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. This is God’s mission for the Church today. The time is short. We all must understand the urgency of the hour, the day we’re living in, and get serious about the things of the Kingdom. Preach the Gospel; preach it with all your heart and with all the boldness and love that God has given you. In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus said, “…All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world, Amen.” What an assurance! Nothing could bolster more confidence in us to speedup the preaching of the Gospel and take it to the ends of the earth than the words of the Master in the verses we just read. We’re in the times of the signs, and the final signis already unfolding before our eyes, which is the massive salvation of souls around the world! Already, we’ve taken the Gospel to billions of people around the world and in every known living language, through Rhapsody of Realities. But we must keep at it until we’ve reached everybody, just as the Lord instructed. Remember, the Holy Spirit is in us, and brought us this far; He’ll take us to the finish line. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the opportunities I have to preach the Gospel and reach more people with the message of salvation. I move with the speed and urgency of the Spirit, guided by your wisdom in leading many to righteousness. I receive increased grace and ability to fulfil the ministry of reconciliation to those in my world, and in the regions beyond, in Jesus' Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. Mark 16:15-16 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL, SUNDAY 5TH FEBRUARY 2023. Pastor Chris THEME: THE TABERNACLE OF PRAISE THEME SCRIPTURE: And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord (Psalm 27:6). In the days of David, there were two tabernacles: one was in Gibeon, while the other was in Jerusalem. 1 Chronicles 16 talks about both of them. The Tabernacle in Gibeon, which was the tabernacle of Moses, was the place of sacrifice (Read 1 Chronicles 16:39-40 NIV). The tabernacle in Jerusalem, which was the tabernacle of David, had Levitical singers whom David had appointed to minister before the Ark of God: And he (David) appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, and to record, and to thank and praise the Lord God of Israel” (1 Chronicles 16:4). The Levites were to minister before the ark night and day, singing praises to the Lord. While in Gibeon, they were offering the sacrifices of bulls and goats in Jerusalem; they offered sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving continually to the Lord. David said, “I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs” (Psalm 69:30-31). Many years later, in the New Testament, James, while debating with some Church elders about God’s plan for the Gentiles, quoted a prophecy: “After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up” (Acts 15:16). Notice the Lord didn’t say, “I will build again the tabernacle of Moses.” Rather, He said He would build again the tabernacle of David where was unending praise. This tells us what we're supposed to have in the Church today: unending praise in the sanctuary! It’ll usher us into a higher and more glorious arena of life and ministry, as we build a living tabernacle that'll never be destroyed. PRAYER Dear Father, I’ll bless your Name at all times, and your praise shall continually be in my mouth, declaring your greatness in all the earth, and making known your wonders to all generations. Thank you for your glory in my life; you’re righteous, holy, gracious, kind and pure. Your Kingdom is everlasting, and you rule the nations in righteousness. Blessed be your Name forever, O Lord. Amen. FURTHER STUDY 1 Chronicles 16:39-40 NIV David left Zadok the priest and his fellow priests before the tabernacle of the LORD at the high place in Gibeon 40 to present burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of burnt offering regularly, morning and evening, in accordance with everything written in the Law of the LORD, which he had given Israel. Psalm 150:1-6 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. DAILY SCRIPTURE READING 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 25:1-30 & Exodus 29-30 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 12:31-38 & Genesis 36 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS SATURDAY 4TH FEBRUARY THEME: THERE’S HELP FOR YOU THEME SCRIPTURE: And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams (1 Chronicles 15:26) The Bible tells us how David got some Levites to move the ark of God into a place he had prepared for it in Jerusalem. But something striking that we observed is that the Bible says, “…God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord….” Isn’t it amazing? Though the Levites were called to bear the ark, God helped them to carry out their ministry. God also helped a man named Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah. He had gone to battle against the Syrians in alliance with Ahab, the king of Israel. Having no idea that Jehoshaphat was in the battle, the king of Syria instructed his commanders to go after Ahab, the king of Israel. “Don’t fight anyone else; just go after King Ahab and kill him,” he told them. When his men saw Jehoshaphat, they thought he was the king of Israel and cornered him. But the Bible says, “…Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them to depart from him” (2 Chronicles 18:31). The Bible also tells us about a young king, Uzziah, who started out as a teenager. He was responsible for several inventions and technological transformation of Judah. The Bible specifically says that he was marvellously helpedof the Lord until he became strong (2 Chronicles 26:15). Isn’t this and more what we have today in the Holy Spirit that lives in us? He’s your helper! Is there anything you’re trying to achieve? Or are you experiencing some form of trouble? There’s supernatural help available for you. The Holy Spirit is in you to help you in ministry, in business, in your finances and relationships. He’ll move trouble away from you just as He moved Jehoshaphat’s enemies away. He’ll give you creative ideas that’ll make your name spread abroad. You’re not disadvantaged in any way; the Helper is in you, and that’s the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Holy Spirit, I acknowledge you as my Helper; you’re always with me and in me. You’re my refuge and strength. I’m yielded to you, to be led, guided, strengthened and taught the things of the Kingdom of God. I’m rightly positioned in the centre of God’s perfect will because I’m under your influence and sway every day of my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: John 14:16 (AMPC) – And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever— Romans 8:26 (AMPC) So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: Matthew 24:36-51 & Exodus 28 2 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: Matthew 12:22-30 & Genesis 35 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS FRIDAY 3RD FEBRUARY THEME: SPIRITUAL INCANTATIONS THEME SCRIPTURE: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26). In Acts 2, the apostles, along with the other disciples of Jesus, were gathered in an upper room in Jerusalem during the Feast of Pentecost. Then something remarkable happened: they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Some of those present made a joke of it and derisively said they were simply drunk and full of intoxicating wine. But the truth is, they were making spiritual incantations. What exactly were they saying? To the mockers, these disciples were only “stammering,” just as the Prophet Isaiah said in Isaiah 28:11, “For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.” It was the best way Isaiah could relate with or interpret this awesome blessing of the New Testament. They knew nothing about this in the Old Testament. In Isaiah’s visions, he might have heard some kinds of stuttering or something similar to a speech disorder—a disorder involving hesitations and involuntary repetitions of certain sounds—revealed to him in the Spirit. But Paul had a greater insight and tells us that through those “stammerings” or “stutterings,” we speak the wisdom of God in esoteric language (1 Corinthians 2:7). In other words, the Holy Spirit orchestrated the utterances given to us, which we speak in tongues; therefore, they’re not mere involuntary recitations or repetitions; these are incantations. Incantations are ritual recitations of words or sounds with supernatural effect, synonymous with conjuration. This is what we do when we speak in tongues. While praying, you may find yourself repeating just one syllable; continue. You’re making incantations of the Spirit; you’re speaking forth God’s plans in words and sounds orchestrated by the Holy Spirit that’ll change things and your life forever. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the blessing of speaking in other tongues, and incantations of the Spirit. Even now, as I speak in tongues, I speak forth your plans in words and sounds orchestrated by the Holy Spirit; I speak forth your will, plans and purposes concerning issues of importance; I bring your perfect will to pass in my life and in all my endeavours, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 2:7 – But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 1 Corinthians 14:2 – For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 1 Corinthians 14:14 – For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: Matthew 24:1-35 & Exodus 26-27 2 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: Matthew 12:10-21 & Genesis 34 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS THURSDAY 2ND FEBRUARY THEME: HEIRS OF BLESSINGS THEME SCRIPTURE: And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29). Our theme verse says if you belong to Christ, then you’re Abraham’s seed and an heir according to the promise. This is so profound. It also brings to mind what the Apostle Paul said in Ephesians 1:3, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” You’ve already been blessed with “ALL” spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. You’re an heir of a Kingdom of blessings. This just takes the struggle out of life. Think about the Master’s gratifying words in Luke 12:32 (NKJV), “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” Why would anyone know this and struggle in life? Then, to think He’s even done it already makes it super transcendent. He’s already given you the Kingdom. The lesser is included in the greater. If you already have the Kingdom, then you have everything the Kingdom represents: divine life, righteousness, love, joy, wealth untold, divine health, peace and more are already yours. They’re part of your inheritance and rights in Christ. In Christ, you have the keys to the Kingdom of heaven, which means you have access to both spiritual and earthly blessings. Live every day with the consciousness that the Kingdom is yours. And the Kingdom didn’t come to you empty; it’s loaded with blessings. Blessed be God! PRAYER I’m an heir of God’s Kingdom of blessings; divine life, health, prosperity, success, joy, peace and victory are mine in Christ. I’m blessed and I live in superabundance because I’m the seed of Abraham. I thank you Lord, for the Kingdom belongs to me; therefore, I have all things that pertain to life and godliness, and I flourish exceedingly in every good work, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Galatians 3:9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. Romans 8:16-17 (NKJV) The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS WEDNESDAY 01 FEBRUARY THEME: A DIVINE REALITY THEME SCRIPTURE: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). Throughout this month, take some time every day, or at least for the next two weeks, and meditate on the verse of scripture above. Lie on your bed and repeat them out loud again and again. Walk around thinking and muttering, “Christ is in me.” I did this many years ago and it sure transformed my life. I needed to capture the essence and reality of that verse. I wanted it to soak into my spirit, and it did! “Christ in you” isn’t a religious talk; it’s a divine reality. Sadly, the power of that reality isn’t yet as effectual in the lives of some as it should be. That’s the reason for their whining and grumbling; the lack, headaches and fevers they complain of! It’s the reason some have wounds, sicknesses and diseases that are said to be incurable. How could you be sick, if indeed, Christ indwells your physical body? Remember Aeneas; though a Christian, had been paralysed and bedridden for eight years. Then came Peter to his house. All that Peter said was, “Aeneas, Christ makes you well: get up!” Immediately, the man was healed. Peter understood the reality, the power and the essence of Christ living in a man. What did Paul say in Romans 8:10? He said, “And if Christ is in you, although the body may be dead because of sin, the Spirit gives it life because of righteousness.” Before Christ came into you, your body was death-doomed or death-prone. You were susceptible to the curse of sin and were therefore subject to Satan, condemnation, sickness, disease, poverty and death. But then the Bible says, “…if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. (Romans 8:11). This has already happened. The Spirit lives in you now and has given life—vitalized your mortal or hitherto death-doomed body. Your life, now that you’re born again, is death-proof. You have to insist on that, otherwise, you’ll be buffeted by the elements of life. But when you consciously meditate on Christ and His life in you, He’ll manifest Himself in your physical body and dispel everything that’s not of God. Christ in you is the greatest blessing of all! Confession Dear Father, thank you for the Christ-consciousness that inspires an extraordinary boldness in my life and causes me to live every day, exuding joy indescribable and full of glory. I’ve been granted the grace and ability in Christ to reign and rule over all circumstances! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Christ in me is my assurance of divine health, prosperity, success, victory, and dominion. Blessed be God! FURTHER STUDY Isaiah 60:1-2 (KJV) – 1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 2 Corinthians 3:9-10 (KJV) – 9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. 2 Corinthians 3:11 (KJV) – 11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. 2 Peter 1:17 (KJV) – 17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 22:15-46 & Exodus 22-23 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 11:21-30 & Genesis 32 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS TUESDAY 31ST JANUARY THEME: A LIFE OF GLORY AND RIGHTEOUSNESS THEME SCRIPTURE: But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light(1Peter 2:9) When we say Christianity is a call to a life of glory, righteousness, greatness, honour and peace, it’s a present-hour reality. It’s a literal truth, not a promise we’re looking forward to enjoying when we get to heaven. We have the Christ-life in us NOW! We have His righteousness and His glory. The Bible says, “…As he is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17). Colossians 3:3-4 tells us something super-sublime; it says, “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then will ye also appear with him in glory.” Christ is your life. There was an exchange; a supplanting of your natural human life by His divine life. The Lord Jesus took your depraved, defeated, destroyed and broken human life away from you. He took the life of sin and shame away from you, and in its place, He gave you a life of glory and righteousness. Think about it: if Christ is your life, then everything about your life should be absolutely divine. How then could you be said to have an incurable ailment? Satan has tried to deceive many to believe nothing has changed in their lives even though they’re now born again. The darkness, misery, infirmities and pains that were associated with your old human life have all passed away. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” You’re now in a new environment—the environment of His glory and righteousness. That’s why your life is full of glory and you produce fruits and works of righteousness. Have and walk in this consciousness. Be full of faith and confidence, knowing that your life is the expression and manifestation of these truths. Hallelujah! CONFESSION I’m full of faith and confidence, knowing that my life is the expression and manifestation of the glory and righteousness of Christ. I have the life of Christ at work in my spirit, soul and body. Glory to God! RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS MONDAY 30TH JANUARY THEME: YOUR EXALTED PLACE IN HIM THEME SCRIPTURE: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13). Oftentimes, some Christians describe their encounters with demons and how they’re often oppressed by the powers of darkness. To such folks, the question that often comes to my mind is, “Who is Jesus? Didn’t He give us power over devils?” The Bible says we’ve been delivered—transferred and translated—from the jurisdiction of darkness into the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son. That’s your current place of domicile. You’re far above principalities and powers; vitally and effectively superior to Satan and the demons of hell! Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Until and unless this becomes your present-hour consciousness, perception and outlook on life, you’ll live a life that’s far lower than your calling in Christ. Here’s something I did many years ago that I recommend you do for yourself: get your notepad or diary and write as a title, “Why I have power over devils.” Then, get into the Bible and write out every scripture you can find about Jesus, who He is, and who you are in Him! You’d be amazed and inspired by what you’d discover about Jesus Christ, the power He’s given you, and your exalted place in Him. You’re in Him; inseparably one with Him. As He is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17). How is He? He is the effulgence of the Father’s glory. He is glory personified. Who is He? He’s Himself, God! Where is He? He’s at the place of highest honour and supreme authority in the heavenly realm: “…exalted as first above every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence! He is gloriously enthroned over every name that is ever praised, not only in this age, but in the age that is coming” (Ephesians 1:21 TPT). The most enthralling part of it all is that you’re in Him, gloriously enthroned with Him and exalted, far above every ruler, authority, government and realm of power in existence. Blessed be God! PRAYER I live in the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son; that’s the realm into which I was born; a realm of glory, beyond time and space; the realm of the miraculous. I refuse to condescend to the earthly level of life or reasoning. I rule over demons and circumstances, dominating this physical world with the principles of our heavenly Kingdom. Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 1:12-13 (KJV) – 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Ephesians 1:21-23 (TPT) – And now he is exalted as first above every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence! He is gloriously enthroned over every name that is ever praised, not only in this age, but in the age that is coming! And he alone is the leader and source of everything needed in the church. God has put everything beneath the authority of Jesus Christ and has given him the highest rank above all others. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY 29TH JANUARY 2023. Pastor Chris THEME: BE CONSISTENT IN YOUR CONFESSION THEME SCRIPTURE: Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised) (Hebrews 10:23). Everything Jesus did—all the miracles He performed—He did with words. Even when He multiplied the five loaves of bread and two fish, it was with words! The Bible says He blessed it (Matthew 14:19) by giving thanks; He activated the power with words. Words are “things”; they possess creative energy. When you talk, energy is released to cause what you’ve said to materialize, positive or negative. The Bible says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue...” (Proverbs 18:21). Don't confuse your spirit by saying one thing and obscuring it with another. James 3:11 says sweet and bitter water don’t emanate from the same fountain. Be consistent in your confessions—in your declaration of God’s truths. Truth is consistent. Don't change your confession on the basis of transient situations or circumstances. Irrespective of how you feel, what you see or hear; hold fast to what you’ve believed and received. Hold fast to your confession of God’s Word. Don’t give Satan a chance. It makes no difference the contrary evidences and adversities he may stir against you; you say, “I’m a victor in Christ Jesus! Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world.” Once you’ve said that, no matter what happens thereafter, refuse to waver. Your faith will prevail. That’s how you deal with circumstances and situations in life: you stagger not at the promise of God through unbelief. Rather, you’re strong in faith, giving glory to the Lord (Romans 4:20). Keep the word of faith in your mouth always and you’ll forever be victorious: “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23). CONFESSION I refuse to allow circumstances dictate the outcome of my life. I don’t stagger at the Word of God through unbelief; I’m ever strong in faith, giving glory to God! No sickness, disease or infirmity can thrive in my body because I’m joined to the Lord and I’m one spirit with Him. Divine life and unfailing health and strength are at work in every fibre of my being, in every cell of my blood, and in every bone of my body. Glory to God! FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 13:5-6 AMPC* Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL, SATURDAY 28TH JANUARY 2023. Pastor Chris THEME: THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE DIVINE ESSENCE THEME SCRIPTURE: That is why I would remind you to stir up (rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the [gracious] gift of God, [the inner fire] that is in you by means of the laying on of my hands [with those of the elders at your ordination] (2 Timothy 1:6 AMPC). Think about this: The same Spirit by which Jesus cast out devils, healed the sick, raised the dead and did all the amazing miracles that He did, lives in you today. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God; He’s the divine essence. He’s exactly like Jesus. He doesn’t receive power from God; He’s the POWER of God! He’s the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father. The Holy Spirit isn’t less than the Father, nor is He less than Jesus. The Bible says it was Him that raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 8:11). This Holy Spirit has also vitalized your hitherto death-prone body. Your body is now His temple (1 Corinthians 6:19). Hallelujah! What does this mean for you? It means if ever your body is afflicted, if any wound or anomaly surfaces in your body, it’ll be taken care of by the Holy Spirit. He perambulates in you to ensure nothing goes wrong in or with your physical body. This is the reality! So, every so often, activate His power in you by speaking in tongues and affirming His Word. You don’t have to attend “revival” meetings to activate the power of the Spirit. Just start declaring His Word concerning your life, and before long, His divine power will course through your being. Blessed be God! CONFESSION Everything in my body is touched by the power of the Holy Spirit. There’s life in me. There’s no situation I can’t change, for the inherent power to do exceeding abundantly above all that I could ask, think or imagine is within me. I’m infused with divine strength, and the glory of God is revealed through me. Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 1 Timothy 4:14 AMPC: Do not neglect the gift which is in you, [that special inward endowment] which was directly imparted to you [by the Holy Spirit] by prophetic utterance when the elders laid their hands upon you [at your ordination]. Romans 8:10-11 ESV But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL, FRIDAY 27TH JANUARY 2023. Pastor Chris THEME: ENERGIZED PRAYER THEME SCRIPTURE: So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed (Acts 19:20). If you desire certain changes in your life, your city, state or nation, you can make it happen through effectual prayers—praying with passion. Paul knew how to pray effectively; that was what changed Ephesus and other places where he ministered. Paul was in Ephesus for two years and three months, and during that period, he shook up the whole place. The Bible says, “And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds” (Acts 19:18). In other words, they gave up idolatry and their heathen practices and openly confessed the lordship of Jesus. The 19th verse says those who had been into magic and cults were converted to Christ. How was Paul able to achieve this? He gave us an idea when he said in 1 Corinthians 15:32, If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me….” When you study the context, you don't find where he personally encountered beasts or was physically attacked by wild beasts. Evidently, Paul was speaking spiritually. He was referring to something that happened in the spirit. Recall what we read in our theme verse: So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.” The Gospel prevailed in Ephesus because Paul understood how to pray with passion, how to prevail in the spirit through prayer. The Bible says, ..The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16). The phrase “effectual fervent” is “energeō” (Greek), and it means “energized.” In other words, the “energized” prayer of a righteous man avails much. Hallelujah! To drive this point home, James gives us the example of Elijah’s prayer and says, Elijah “prayed earnestly” (James 5:17). The phrase “prayed earnestly” literally means that Elijah “prayed with prayer,” giving it a Hebraistic form of emphasis. He was talking about the intensity of Elijah’s prayer. He prayed energized prayer. There’re many things happening in our world today that should move us to pray intensely as Elijah did. It’s your responsibility as a child of God to put a halt to evil works masterminded by Satan in your world and the regions beyond. PRAYER Dear Lord, thank you for the privilege and blessing of prayer. Now I pray for the unhindered spread of the Gospel, that your Word may have free course and be glorified. I pray against fear, violence, wickedness and all forms of injustice; I declare peace, progress, stability and prosperity, for the furtherance of your Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY James 5:16-18 AMPC Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. 17 Elijah was a human being with a nature such as we have [with feelings, affections, and a constitution like ours]; and he prayed earnestly for it not to rain, and no rain fell on the earth for three years and six months. 18 And [then] he prayed again and the heavens supplied rain and the land produced its crops [as usual]. Luke 22:44 TPT He prayed even more passionately, like one being sacrificed, until he was in such intense agony of spirit that his sweat became drops of blood, dripping onto the ground. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS THURSDAY 26TH JANUARY THEME: SAVED BY HIS RESURRECTION THEME SCRIPTURE: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8 ) In Romans 10:9, the Bible says, “…if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” It lets us know that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is where Christianity came from. To be a Christian, you’ve got to believe in the resurrection. If you don’t believe in the resurrection, you can’t believe in the death, because the death had to occur before the resurrection. Actually, the best rendering of Romans 10:9 is, “If you’ll confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you’ll be saved.” You may say, “Pastor Chris, but it says you confess first and then you believe next.” No; you believe first before you confess. That’s the principle. The next verse explicitly clarifies it: “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:10). Hallelujah! When you believe with your heart, you’re made right with God. We believed in Jesus Christ and we were given right standing, and with the confession of His lordship, we were catapulted into salvation. That’s the simple principle. 2 Corinthians 4:13 says, “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.” It shows that you believe, and then you speak. Every man, woman, boy and girl ever born, and that’ll ever be born into this world has already been legally “saved” by Jesus Christ. When He died, He died to save all humanity. But that salvation becomes a vital experience—active—in the life of the one who believes, not only that Jesus died, but that He was raised from the dead for our justification. Praise God! PRAYER As we await the soon return of the Lord, may the clouds pour down righteousness continually; may the earth open up and salvation bear fruit, and righteousness sprout with it, according to the Word of the Lord, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Isaiah 45:8 NASB “Drip down, heavens, from above, And let the clouds pour down righteousness; Let the earth open up and salvation bear fruit, And righteousness sprout with it. I, the Lord, have created it. 1 Corinthians 15:12-19 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: Matthew 18:15-35 & Exodus 10-12 2 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: Matthew 10:1-11 & Genesis 26 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS WEDNESDAY 25TH JANUARY THEME: PRODUCTS OF HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS THEME SCRIPTURE: And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24). 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Being born again, we’re the exact manifestation of the righteousness of God. A dog gives birth to a dog. Likewise, when God in His infinite righteousness gave birth to us, we became the righteousness of God. We’re the product of His righteousness; we’re His righteousness manifested! Declare this about yourself every so often. When you say it, it’s not a boast; you’re simply affirming truth—you’re declaring who you are in Christ! This is different from the gift of righteousness by which you stand in the presence of God to receive eternal life. When you were born again, you were recreated in righteousness. The Bible says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…” (2 Corinthians 5:17). This new creature, as read in our opening verse, was created in righteousness and true holiness. The Amplified Classic calls it “true righteousness” (Ephesians 4:24). Hallelujah! In other words, no more shadow or figure of righteousness. You’re God-like in true righteousness and holiness. What a blessing! Live with this consciousness and walk in glory and dominion over circumstances, every day. CONFESSION: I’ve received true righteousness; I’m now God-like in true righteousness and holiness, superior to Satan, his demons and circumstances! And by the power of Jesus Christ, the whole world is subdued before me in absolute dominion. Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 4:24 AMPC 24 And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God’s image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness. Romans 5:17 AMPC 17 For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). 1-YEAR BIBILE READING PLAN: Matthew 17:14-18:1-14 & Exodus 8-9 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: Matthew 9:27-38 & Genesis 25 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS TUESDAY 24TH JANUARY THEME: INTERCEDING FOR ALL MEN THEME SCRIPTURE: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty (1 Timothy 2:1-2). The scripture above outlines the kinds of prayers that we should pray for all men: “supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks.” We must pray like this, and oftentimes, with fasting, so that God’s purpose to have the mass of humanity come to Christ will be actualized. The Bible says He wants all men saved, including leaders of nations. This is the day of His grace and of His salvation. Therefore, in prayer, present that argument; the Bible says the grace of God that brings salvation has been made available to all men (Titus 2:11). In Christ, salvation has already been wrought for every man. But we know what keeps people in darkness. The Bible says, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them” (2 Corinthians 4:3-4). Satan is the one who has blinded the minds of men so they wouldn’t believe the Gospel; he’s the reason some will do anything to resist the message of the Gospel. But in prayer, you break his hold and influence over men’s lives. Always take out time to intercede passionately for those in your world who haven’t yet known the Lord. Pray that every resistance is removed for them to receive the truth with understanding and embrace the Word of God for their salvation. Also, pray for leaders, that they’ll have the will, desire, and boldness to do what is right and refuse to yield to corruption and negative influences. Prophesy often that peace prevails in the cities, towns and nations of the world, and the Gospel has free course where you live and work. PRAYER This is the day of salvation and grace, for the grace of God that brings salvation has been made available to all men. Therefore, I pray for massive numbers of men and women around the world to receive this precious message of salvation. I pray that the veils be taken off their eyes, and their hearts and minds be opened to the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Titus 2:11 (KJV) – 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Acts 2:37-39 (KJV) – 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 (AMPC) – 1 First of all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men, 2 For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way. 3 For such [praying] is good and right, and [it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior, 4 Who wishes all men to be saved and [increa 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 16:13-17:1-13 & Exodus 6-7 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 9:14-26 & Genesis 24 |
