RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS MONDAY 23RD JANUARY THEME: SANCTIFIED PRAISE THEME SCRIPTURE: And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever (2 Chronicles 20:21). 1Peter 2:9 says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.” That’s our calling right there: it’s to a life of praise. We’re sanctified to praise the Lord. In the Bible, David, being a prophet of God was inspired of the Lord to organize the Levites into choirs. That’s because He had the revelation of true worship. David was a musician, an instrumentalist and a songwriter. He was a singer and he also made instruments. In the palace of Saul, King of Israel, he often played the flute (1 Samuel 16:14-23). The Bible tells us they did make music in Kings’ houses; music wasn’t something new to the world. But music for God was different. If music was going to be offered in sacrifice to God, it could only be done by the Levites inside the temple (1 Chronicles 16:4). Furthermore, our praise is a weapon against the adversary. Recall what happened with Jehoshaphat: three enemy nations allied against Judah. But Jehoshaphat organized with the people and put the singers in front of the army. The Bible says, “And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir…” (2 Chronicles 20:22). That’s the power of sanctified praise. There’re battles you win with praise. Read Acts 16:25-26 and see how Paul and Silas were supernaturally delivered from their captors as they praised the Lord. In the New Testament, we’re the circumcision that worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh (Philippians 3:3). We are the ones He’s sanctified to offer Him true worship. It’s the reason we can worship Him in Spirit and in truth. We often have our Praise Night Services, where as a global audience, we pour out our hearts in worship and praise to the Lord for His love, goodness, grace and wondrous works. Be sure to be a part of these live services and relive the moments during the rebroadcast on our Loveworld Networks. PRAYER Precious Lord Jesus, I worship you; you’re the King eternal, immortal, with all power, glory and majesty. You’re the Monarch of the universe, and you alone have all authority in heaven, in the earth, and under the earth. You’re the Most High God, worthy of all praise, honour and adoration. You’re King of the ages. I worship you today and forever. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 2 Chronicles 20:21-22 (KJV) – 21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever. 22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. Acts 16:25-26 (KJV) – 25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 15:29-16:1-12 & Exodus 3-5 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 9:1-13 & Genesis 23 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS SUNDAY 22ND JANUARY THEME: AGONIZING FOR SOULS IN PRAYER THEME SCRIPTURE: Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God (Colossians 4:12). Rhapsody Of Realities For Today MESSAGE: The Apostle Paul knew how to agonize in prayer for the souls of men. He understood the principles of prevailing prayer—soul travail. For example, in 1 Corinthians 15:32, he said, “…I have fought with beasts at Ephesus….” There, he was talking about something that happened in the spirit. It was a spiritual warfare. In Revelation 19:11, the Apostle John tells us, “…in righteousness he doth judge and make war.” We judge and make war in righteousness. The phrase “make war” is the Greek, “polemeō” and it means to be (engaged) in warfare, to battle or fight. Instead of “war,” it’s also sometimes translated “battle.” “War” is also translated from “stratomai,” which has to do with war as in soldiers in a warfare. But then there’s “Agonisomai” (Greek); another word for war which is more about contending for something (Colossians 1:29; 4:12). This time, it’s more passionate and intense, and it doesn’t necessarily use arms. That’s where the English word “agonize” is derived. That’s what we’re expected to do in praying for lost souls— we “agonize,” because we have an adversary that’s warring against us. Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” The word “wrestle” is the generic term for war, battle, fight, or struggle; letting us know that all of these have to do with our adversary. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 tells us about this adversary and the extent of his wickedness. It says, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” This is why you must pray intensely for sinners to be delivered from the power of Satan into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Agonize for them in prayer. This is a priority in warring a good warfare (1 Timothy 2:1-2). PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for pouring out your Spirit upon all humanity, making it possible for all men to receive the glorious Gospel of Christ. I break the power of the devil over people’s minds whom you’ve destined for salvation today; they’re delivered from darkness to light and into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 1 Timothy 2:1-4 (KJV) – 1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Ephesians 6:12-13 (KJV) – 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 15:1-28 & Exodus 1-2 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 8:23-34 & Genesis 22 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS SATURDAY 21ST JANUARY THEME: SPEAKING RIGHTEOUSNESS THEME SCRIPTURE: For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe (Hebrews 5:13). The phrase, “of righteousness” in our opening verse is “dikaiosunē” (Greek); it means the word or “logos” (Greek) of righteousness. Some translations use “doctrine” and others use “teaching” instead of “word.” But the spiritual communication that’s embedded in that verse is much higher; it refers to speaking righteousness or a communication of righteousness. To further understand this, let’s examine Jesus’ response when He was tempted by Satan in Matthew 4: He quoted Scriptures each time, but not as one who was responding from the standpoint of the Law. For example, when the Bible says, “Thou shalt not steal” (Exodus 20:15), it was written to Israel as one of the commandments. But when you become a Christian, “Thou shalt not steal” isn’t applicable to you! It doesn’t apply to your spirit. Does that mean you can steal? Of course not! In Christianity, you have a nature that doesn’t steal. You’re of the higher class. You don’t live by the Law or commandments, for the Bible says, “…the law is not made for a righteous man…” (1 Timothy 1:9). So, when Jesus said to Satan, “…It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone…” (Matthew 4:4), He was describing His life; it was a description of His righteousness. Hallelujah! Always, God expects you to respond with the Word as Jesus did. It’s not about memorizing the Scriptures so you could quote them; it’s about speaking righteousness, communicating in line with your nature in Christ—who you are in Him. Sometimes, in responding with the Word, the scripture you’re quoting might not be verbatim, but you’re aware that what you’re saying is consistent with God’s Word; the message goes to your spirit in the language of the Spirit. When you respond to Satan and life’s challenges like that, you’ll always be victorious! Praise God! CONFESSION: My life is the expression of the glory and dominion of Christ. I live the higher life. I’m an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ; the whole world is mine! The divine life is at work in me, and that life of God is activated in every fibre of my being. Glory to God! FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 2:12-13 12 What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. Colossians 3:16 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. Romans 10:6-8 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 “or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: Matthew 14:13-36 & Genesis 49-50 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN: Matthew 8:12-22 & Genesis 21 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS FRIDAY 20TH JANUARY THEME: FAITH THAT CONQUERS THE WORLD THEME SCRIPTURE: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4). The verse above in the Amplified Classic says, “For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.” It’s talking about faith from God, from His eternal Word to our spirit! That’s the faith that conquers the world! Romans 12:3 says, “…God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” Hallelujah! Then in Romans 10:17, it says, “…faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” This is why it’s important that you expose your spirit to the Word. The more you hear or study the Word, the more faith comes to you; faith to rule your world. With that faith, you have dominion over circumstances and victory over the world and its systems. However, faith not expressed won’t prevail. You express your faith in words and actions, for the Bible says faith speaks! Rule your world with your faith-filled words. Your words have force; they have energy. If someone says to you, “But you’ve been speaking the Word for some time now, and nothing is changing.” Remind them of what the Bible says: “If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth…” (Ecclesiastes 11:3). Keep speaking the Word in faith and watering your clouds with prayers. As you do, the spiritual cloud becomes thick with spiritual water, and nothing can stop the downpour! Blessed be God! CONFESSION The Lord is strong and mighty, and He’s with me and in me! I put my trust in Him alone, and rest my faith on His Word. Irrespective of the challenges in the world today, my faith is the victory that conquers the world! All things are possible to him that believes and I believe; therefore, all things are possible to me. Glory to God! FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV) – 13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; Mark 9:23 (KJV) – 23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Mark 11:23 (KJV) – 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 13:44-14:1-12 & Genesis 46-48 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 8:1-11 & Genesis 20 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS THURSDAY 19TH JANUARY THEME: BE VIGILANT THEME SCRIPTURE: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition (2 Thessalonians 2:3). In John 5:43, Jesus said, “I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.” Our underlined portion sounds like a supposition but it’s not. It’s actually in the affirmative when you study the Greek rendering. The word “another” in that verse doesn’t come from “heteros” (Greek), but from “allos” (Greek). This clearly means that Jesus was prophesying about the “pseudochristos”—a false Christ; one who falsely lays claim to the name and office of the Messiah. Jesus did teach that there’d be false Christs and false prophets. When you read in the epistles (such as 1 John 2:18), the term used is “antichrist” which is “antichristos” in Greek, meaning instead of Christ, against Christ, one who puts himself in the place of Christ or opposes Christ. This lines up with the “pseudochristos.” So, when Jesus said, “… if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive,” He knew what He was talking about. Sadly, some today are willing to demonstrate magnanimity and incredulity towards fake news and wrong doctrines, while unwilling to accept real truth. The Bible tells us the antichrist will be a deceiver and a liar, and that major religious leaders will endorse him. But that’s no surprise. There were people like that in Bible days who endorsed the false prophets and killed God’s prophets (Matthew 23:31). It’s the same in the world today; many have chosen to be deceived. Satan’s modus operandi is based on deception with misrepresentations. Therefore, remain vigilant. The Bible says, “Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience” (Ephesians 5:6). We’re in the closing period of this present age; the Lord is coming soon. Be alert and ready. PRAYER Gracious Lord, thank you for the illumination that I’ve received from your Word, exposing the cunning devices of Satan and his cohorts in these last days. The eyes of my understanding are flooded with light; I’m alert and sensitive, ready for the coming of the Lord. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 4:1-3 (KJV) – 4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 1 John 2:18 (KJV) – 18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 2 John 1:7 (KJV) – 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 3 John 1:4 (KJV) – 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 13:24-43 & Genesis 44-45 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 7:21-29 & Genesis 19 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS WEDNESDAY 18TH JANUARY THEME: WE’RE IN CHARGE THEME SCRIPTURE: For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way (2 Thessalonians 2:7). All the evil and atrocious plans and agendas of Satan for the nations of the world can’t succeed because of our stand against him. After the Rapture, Satan will have his way according to the Scriptures, but until then, we—the Church of Jesus Christ—are in charge and in control. We determine the destiny of the nations. Hallelujah! Some people believe we don’t stand a chance because they’re not a part of what we’re doing. They’re like the men of Succoth that the Bible talks about in Judges 8:5 who, instead of supporting Gideon, mocked him (Judges 8:6). They ridiculed Gideon because they didn’t believe he and his small number of weary troops were capable of defeating the Midianite warriors. But Gideon succeeded without their support. As long as we’re not all quiet and ignorant about Satan’s agenda for the world, he can’t lord it over the nations. NEVER! In Ezekiel 22:30, God said, “I sought for a man to stand in the gap and I found none.” He didn’t say, “I sought for many people.” Therefore, as long as some of us stand our ground on the Word against the devil and his cohorts, their works will be thwarted. Isaiah 44:25 MSG aptly summarizes their end! It says God “…makes the magicians look ridiculous and turns fortunetellers into jokes. He makes the experts look trivial and their latest knowledge look silly.” This is what’s happening around the world because of our prayers. Hallelujah! PRAYER The Lord is in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments; no name and no power exempt from His rule, and not just for the time being, but forever! I come against the structures, systems and schemes employed by Satan to propagate his deception and fear across the nations. Those structures are overthrown, and every evil work is exposed, judged and sentenced, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 149:5-9 (KJV) – 5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. 6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord. 1 Samuel 14:6 (KJV) – 6 And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the Lord will work for us: for there is no restraint to the Lord to save by many or by few. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 13:1-23 & Genesis 42-43 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 7:13-20 & Genesis 18 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS TUESDAY 17TH JANUARY THEME: THE EFFECT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS THEME SCRIPTURE: And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever (Isaiah 32:17). Our opening verse lists quietness and assurance as the effect of righteousness; that’s faith! Faith is the quiet or confident assurance that things favourably expected shall come to pass: “Faith is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen…”(Hebrews 11:1 TLB). This perfectly describes the effect of righteousness we read about in our opening verse. It could have simply read, “And the effect of righteousness shall be faith.” In all of the Old Testament, the word “faith” appears only twice and it wasn’t in connection with peopledemonstrating faith toward God. The first time it was used in the Old Testament was in Deuteronomy 32:20. The next time was Habakkuk 2:4: “…but the just shall live by his faith”; a prophetic reference to the new creation. But now, faith has come! It’s our lifestyle. Being born again, we were born righteous and the effect of righteousness is mountain-moving faith. Hallelujah! Because of righteousness, you have power over every crisis; you rule over the elements and corrupting influences of this world. You can live without fear, worries, conflicts and agitations. Isaiah 54:14 says, “In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.” Hallelujah! No more fear or oppression in your life because you’re established in Christ’s righteousness. You’re no longer in the jurisdiction of darkness; of those who are oppressed by circumstances, situations, demon spirits, etc. You’ve been translated into the Kingdom of God’s Love-Son; the realm of blessings, dominion and glory. Praise God! CONFESSION: I walk in the consciousness of God’s righteousness, securely established in Christ! I live above the elements and corrupting influences of this world. I live without worries, conflicts and agitations. I walk in glory, dominion and the strength of God. Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Matthew 17:20 20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL MONDAY 16TH JANUARY 2023. Pastor Chris THEME: COURAGEOUSLY DECLARE HIS WORD THEME SCRIPTURE:…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may BOLDLY SAY, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Hebrews 13:5-6). Our underlined portion above—“boldly say”—is “tharrheō legō” (Greek) and it means to courageously declare. “Legō” means to say or speak; but it also means to boast. God said something, so that we could courageously declare or boastfully affirm the same thing. This is amazing! That was exactly what Jesus did when He encountered Satan in Matthew 4. He said, “...It is written...” (Matthew 4:7). It shows us that the way to respond to life’s circumstances is with the Scriptures. For example, when you say, “Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world,” you’re responding with the Word; you’re courageously affirming the Word. That verse doesn’t exactly say, “Greater is He that is in me”; rather, it says, “Greater is he that is in you….” But in response, you personalize it; that’s when it becomes “Rhema.” Glory to God! God gave us the Scriptures so we could speak them forth. The Word of God created all things; therefore, everything in life responds to the spoken Word from your lips. The principle is: the Word in your heart and in your mouth; you release the power of God into action in your behalf through speaking. Hallelujah! CONFESSION I'm a winner all the time; I live over and above all limitations and circumstances. There’s no situation I can’t change, because my tongue is a tree of life with which I guarantee my health, success, safety, wellness and wholeness! Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 15:23 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word [spoken] in due season, how good [is it]! Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS SUNDAY 15TH JANUARY THEME: HIS GOODNESS IN THE EARTH THEME SCRIPTURE: He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD (Psalm 33:5). Some don’t believe that the earth is truly full of the goodness of God. But that’s exactly what the verse above unequivocally declares. All that some have experienced in their lives is bitterness and pain. Part of the reason for this is the works of wicked and evil men and women. These evil manipulators destroy the economies of nations for their selfish gain. Nevertheless, there’s more than enough food and good things for every human being on the face of the earth. There’s more than enough wealth in this world. There’s more than enough grace in this world. There’s more than enough power and ability in this world. It’s one of the reasons God wants us to intercede for all men so they can enjoy all that He’s blessed them with in the earth. We read it: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord (Psalm 33:5). Therefore, affirm that the lines are fallen unto you in pleasant places; you have a goodly heritage (Psalm 16:6). Believe it and act accordingly. God said, “My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge…” (Hosea 4:6). But knowledge has come to you today: all the blessings of God upon the earth are yours to enjoy. Don’t settle for less. He said in Psalm 50:10-11, “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.” Then in Psalm 24:1, David said, “The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” No wonder Paul said, “…All things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21); because you’re an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. Hallelujah! PRAYER Gracious Father, the whole earth is filled with your glory and goodness, but many are in bitterness and pain. Therefore, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, I come against the works of ungodly men who have filled the earth with violence, poverty and deaths, keeping men from experiencing your goodness in the earth. Their works are frustrated, and God’s people experience your blessings, health, prosperity and power, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 2 Peter 1:3 (KJV) – 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Isaiah 1:19 (KJV) – 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: Psalm 27:13 (AMPC) – 13 [What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living! RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS SATURDAY 14TH JANUARY THEME: PRAYING FOR LEADERS THEME SCRIPTURE: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority… (1 Timothy 2:1-2). In Acts 13:6-12, we find a very interesting story about the missionary work of Barnabas and Paul in Paphos—a city known for a combination of immorality and darkness. In the course of their evangelical work in the city, the deputy, Sergius Paulus, wanted to hear God’s Word and sent for Barnabas and Paul. But one of his very influential officials—a noted false prophet and sorcerer—attempted to frustrate their missionary efforts. He didn’t want his boss to hear the Gospel. But Paul, having observed Elymas’ deceptive and malicious tendencies, firmly expostulated with him and said, “And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season…” (Acts 13:11). Suddenly, the man went blind and got out of their way. Hallelujah! Sergius Paulus was a prudent man; he wasn’t a corrupt official, but he was unaware of the kind of influence that Elymas would have on him, having been planted by Satan. These are often part of Satan’s ways of getting across to government and political leaders, to influence them and get them to do the wrong things. Therefore, in praying for the leaders of your city, state or country, remember that there’re times Satan plants his own people among them, to distract them from hearing the Word and from getting to know God. Therefore, using the Name of Jesus, break the power of Satan over those who work with leaders and seek to influence or counsel them to go against the will and purposes of God. Furthermore, command the devil to loose his grip over their minds so the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ would shine unto them. Affirm that their hearts are open to receive the Gospel willingly and as a result, righteousness springs up in their hearts and the wisdom of God guides their thoughts. Pray for leaders and all men this way as admonished in 1 Timothy 2:1-2. PRAYER Lord, your desire is for the leaders and peoples of the nations to be saved and for your righteousness to rule their hearts and guide their thinking. Therefore, I pray for leaders of nations, that their hearts be opened and receptive to the Gospel. I pray that your Word will have free course and be glorified and have prevailing power in their lives, effectively cutting off every negative influence from among them, in Jesus’ Name. Jeremiah 29:7 (KJV) – 7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace. Proverbs 21:1 (KJV) – 1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 10:24-42 & Genesis 34-35 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 6:1-13 & Genesis 14 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS FRIDAY 13TH JANUARY THEME: CHRIST OUR LIFE THEME SCRIPTURE: When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory (Colossians 3:4). Christ is our life! Blessed be God! Just the thought causes the power of God to course through my being. We’re not ordinary. When you received Christ, something actually transpired: the life and nature of God was imparted to your spirit. You no longer have the human life; you have the Christ-life, the divine life. This was the Apostle Paul’s summation when he declared, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh (in this body) I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). What an overwhelmingly deep- seated conviction! Paul referenced the same thought in Colossians 3:10 when he said that as new creations, we’ve put on the new man who’s been renewed in knowledge after the image of Christ. In other words, the more you learn about Him and experience Him in knowledge, the more He’s expressed in and through you. That’s Christian growth. When the knowledge of the divine life in you sinks into your spirit through meditation, it becomes your constant consciousness. It becomes your practice, experience and way of life. How could anything go wrong with your liver, heart, or kidney when Christ is your life? The Bible says if Christ is in you, even if your body were dead or ravaged by sickness or disease because of sin, the Spirit gives it life because of righteousness— the life and nature of God in you (Romans 8:10). The depraved, defeated, destroyed and broken human life has been supplanted by the Christ-life—the divine life of righteousness, honour, peace and glory. Glory to God! CONFESSION Christ is my life! Christ is my righteousness. Christ is my wisdom. Christ is my all! Christ in me is the hope of glory! Today, I fully express the essence of my divine nature, impacting my world with the righteousness, honour, peace and dominion of Christ. Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: Colossians 1:26-27 (KJV) – 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Colossians 3:3-4 (KJV) – 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Romans 8:10-11 (ESV) – 10 But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus[a] from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 10:1-23 & Genesis 31-33 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 5:41-48 & Genesis 13 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL PASTOR CHRIS THURSDAY 12TH JANUARY THEME: HIS LOVE TOWARDS US THEME SCRIPTURE: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Contrary to what many think, it doesn’t take much to be born again. All that’s required is to come into Christ. Romans 10:9 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” That’s all the sinner needs to do. Once the sinner comes into Christ, suddenly, old things are passed away. The Bible doesn’t say he or she should try to change the old things. God isn’t waiting for sinners to change their old ways before coming to Him. If they could do that themselves, they wouldn’t need Jesus. Romans 5:10 says, “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” How gracious the Lord is! We were reconciled to Him at a time we didn’t even know Him—while we were still enemies. Ephesians 2:4-5 says, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved).” He loved us even when we were dead in sin: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5: . Romans 4:4-5 shows us how this happened. It says, “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”Our God justifies the ungodly. 2 Corinthians 5:19 says, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” This is the Gospel: it’s about Christ Jesus and His great love for all humanity! It’s about the eternal life and righteousness that He’s freely made available to all, which becomes a vital reality in the life of the one who accepts this truth by confessing the lordship of Jesus Christ. PRAYER Dear heavenly Father, I pray for the unsaved around the world, declaring open channels for the Gospel to reach and impact them today. Every resistance is broken and they receive the truth with understanding, and embrace your Word for their salvation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 5:19-20 (KJV) – 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. Colossians 1:21-22 (KJV) – 21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 9:18-38 & Genesis 29-30 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 5:31-40 & Genesis 12 |
From my point of view, it's not about the gender but rather about the personality. If a sex video of Dangote and a random girl is leaked online, who do you think will receive the bashing more? You already know the answer. So most times, the women that are involved in the sex videos are public figures which warrant more criticisms. In summary.. if a popular lady and a random guy had sex and the video is leaked, the lady will receive more bashing, And vice versa. To your question.. everyone have sex but privately. It becomes an issue when it's seen in public. For example, we know our parents had sex and still do and it is legal for them, but imagine seeing them having sex in public, or seeing their sex tapes, how will you feel? |
I don't understand.. why scared? Whether you marry her in court or else where, it doesn't stop your fears. She will still deal with you if she want to. |
