5minsmadness:I appreciate the info. We learn everyday. |
Someone is a confirmed serial rapist and he wasn't institutionalized? All you did was to chase him out of his former hideout and that's enough? And what's this gotta do wiv indecent dressing? Like a mad man would not attempt to do whatever comes into his deranged mind even if it is on women covered from head to toe. |
NANS? I can't help but chuckle. |
Teespice:I feel your pain. Light's pretty constant in my school too. Fortunately/unfortunately, I concluded my studies a few weeks ago and I am condemned to be home for the next coupla months. This situation better be resolved before things start to grind to a halt... |
No wonder. I had to leave the house to go for a stroll cuz of this data network thingy, thinking twas the house or street...all to no avail. Was already thinking that maybe my phone's the culprit. I do hope the fuel situation is resolved asap. It's already affecting airlines and lots of businesses. |
Once I realized this as far back as when I was in JSS 2 or so, I knew what I had to do. There was no way math could come into Constitutional Law or Evidence! The closest I came was in the Law of Taxation and it was only used to explain, it didn't show up in exams! |
Dandeedadrunk:Oh, I'm educated. Not freely, though. And if you don't understand the rationale behind me writing that, even with the wrong spelling I reproduced from the OP and quoted, then your free education is obviously doing a lot to help you. |
No end seems to be in sight for this Host versus Settlers issue. Been around for ages. One wonders when the realization will set in that the interactions between the two sides are mostly symbiotic. Regular town hall meetings need to be held and if something of so large a scale is difficult, then representatives from both sides ought to meet and agree on issues. This will go a long way in keeping the peace. Attacks and reprisal attacks only bring bad blood and hurt people. My opinion, though. |
"Menstral", huh? Pray tell, what exactly is that? |
Mystiqme:Seriously? We argued a bit back-and-forth a few times. Never woulda guessed that he's a muslim. I decided to let him be wiv his arguments...if having the last word would make him happy, so be it. |
Abuamam:Oh, I'm very much cautioned, thank u sir. And it had nothing to do wiv u saying it. I'm however clear-headed enough not to allow some ''pastor'' strip & step on my wife/daughter/son. You have ur beliefs...I got mine. Simple enough. Lastly, in the face of empirical evidence, I find it funny that you said he ''sat''. Maybe a further look at the pictures will clear things up. |
Abuamam:My, my. Such intelligence you have displayed here. I guess the part where the man steps on those on the floor doesn't matter. Neither does the fact that WOMEN are stripped to their undies. I guess, to your brilliant mind, genius, all these are comparable to David's dance which he did of his own free will, because I don't recall anyone stepping on King David's back! Long and short of it, if you wanna point out that something's Bible-based, it really oughta be. |
One question these so-called Christians fail to ask is that ''do these acts done by these self-acclaimed men of God have their roots in the Bible?''. But no...they would rather elevate these self-serving frauds to the status of demi-gods and deify them. Whatever they do must not be questioned. Wouldn't be surprised if he sleeps wiv female members. Little wonder more and more youths are becoming atheists. |
I find it very alarming that some have either resorted to mocking the OP or saying he's lying. These things really happen and people get hurt or/and lose their properties as a result. Back in 2010, in Ife, just going from my uncle's house to the university campus, a policeman stopped my cousin and I, found my cousin's laptop in his car trunk and when my cousin told him the receipt wasn't on him, he told him he had to follow him to the police station. It took a plea from another policeman whom my cousin had called on the phone for him to let us go. If that can happen in the relatively quiet town of Ile-Ife, why not in Lagos? It is utterly shameful that people who claim to be well-read and knowledgeable about happenings in the country will ignorantly wave this aside. I have taken a hint from the OP's experience and how his quick thinking saved him, though. These days, one can never tell... |
One wonders why an individual's personal choice should generate controversies of this scale. |
About time. |
Obviously out of place... |
Well, his body sells, so... |
Having a big butt or being effeminate isn't a decision taken by the guy to be that way now. It just happens noni. If a gurl doesn't go out with him for that reason, scores are willing to. It's all about preference... |
There are productive ways to let off steam and unwind. I dunno if the doc was speaking tongue-in-cheek but to tell her to either start clinging to the bottle or dropping her panties as a way to relieve stress just seems off to me. If she wants to do either (or both), she should, but only of her own volition. Just saying... |
The slightly chubby one...*grinning*...me likey! |

Clean up the system, and the people will have no choice but to conform. You keep sacking as many people as you want and there'll still be no change if the system retains the status quo. If you like, sign MoU with FBI, those that will come to replace the sacked ones will be worse thieves. It's the system that needs cleansing in the form of policies and reforms. In these days of rising costs of living and proposed austerity measures, more people should not be put out of jobs. God knows we have more than enough of that already. |
I fail to understand the rationale behind forcing a child to go to church. Force me to do something and you can be rest assured that I'm going to do it half-heartedly. I then wonder if the purpose of going to church is not defeated. When I was a lot younger, the endless talk used to make me go. Even then, I'd go about an hour before the Grace is said. These days, all I do is to help them lock the gate when they leave. Funny thing is, I go to church fairly regularly in school. There have been semesters where I missed church just once or twice. Just bring your child up the best way you can and let them know God- from the Bible. Church, however, is a different ball game. We all know the hood doesn't make a monk. |
People can buy as many things as they like with their money. It's just the showing off aspect I've always found difficult to understand. |
