wayodude: Yes there are people who earn alot of money here, even meIts not everyone that gets to earn a lot. Its like Naija also. Not everybody will be very rich but there are some who are making this money. check out contractors. i mention contractors because this guys make a lot of money after tax.i am talking about making £500 a day for contract jobs. try googling Security clearance jobs. Lots of Naija i know who stay in essex are doing this contract jobs and they making money and most of them are living well staying in the posh part of essex so helping families out is not an issue. Some even have their business |
wayodude: £12,000 cash is big money in the UK. Very big!!I am not saying its not big but there are people who can afford to help their family with that kind of money. I know people who are contractors in UK who earn very good money. But this people don collect their Parlie and they have been security cleared and they get paid very well. To them £12,000 to help their family is not really their problem. |
mastersr95: Sorry everyone...i just get irritated by people like this guy, just coz you have a fast internet doesn't mean you should come and be posting lies on here and mislead people... I read one of his post that he was talking about giving his brother 3million naira to start up a business in Nigeria. You want to give someone #3,000,000? $18,000 ? £12,000? How long have you been in US? what do you for a living?Well, its not everyone that the shoe is pinching abroad. Just because most people you know are not making a lot financially should not make you generalize. How sure are you he is not making good money? seems you think £12000 is a lot of money for him to help his family. You said you have been misled so that means you are abroad or have stayed there for a while. Are you saying you did not meet anyone who is financially okay during your stay there? |
I wish for a time where people will fight hard to become citizens of Nigeria!
Amen |
mastersr95: I have a friend that got a degree in Computer science in UK but don't know how to install Operating System on her laptop.. Are you telling me that kind of person should automatically get a Job when he gets to Nigeria? What does that kind of person has to offer the company thats going to employ her? but that's a serious case ooooo . I will advise you to stop calling that person your friend ![]() Jokes apart. i read it again and it seems like its a lady.well, most people say IT is a man's job |
Thx found it on Nigeriaexport website. Anyone knows the process of export and maybe linking up with a supplier? |

men, things that are happening nowadays |
doris4love: Domonique Pinkard, 21, was allegedly asleep on the couch of a residence on Winners Circle when the home owner walked into the living room, reports say.we are not clicking |
Everything hidden. why? |
so many haters are on this topic. Why is it that most Nigerians cant mind their own business? How does it affect you if she is not married or have kids? How does that affect your daily bread? ![]() I am sure most of you haters are sad, that's why you are trying to bring other people down to your level |
DICKtator: The first pix, isn't that Gucci Mane without the ice-cream tattoo?LOL. True talk |
IseOluwa777: The sad thing is that the Uk is virtually a dead end..you can barely ever make wealth in that country because the system is so designed to take away money from you on an increasing scale as you make more. Its so bad that in some instances, a pay rise becomes a curse because of the incomparable increase in taxes that go with it.Tell that to the people who keep applying for visa in Naija. The more you educate them there, the less of arrangie in UK |
wow 38? she looks young. Congratulations |
tedjazz: facebook and twitter are very successful.they make it compulsory tooFacebook is a social network which has a lot of people's personal info inside so they have to for privacy concerns. Its not compulsory for twitter.I can always use a forward slash and type the name of who i want to see their tweet without registering. If you click on directory, you can search for people without registering. |
waiting for it to go to frontpage |
tedjazz: tell dta to twitter or facebook. Ure just trying to promote tsabion or whateverlol. I should go to twitter or facebook to tell him?I don't know who tsabion is. I looked at trafficng website and was not bothered to go further due to compulsory signup. Not everybody wants to receive third party e-mails. If nairaland made it compulsory for everyone to register before even reading any topic,do you think it will have gone this far ?I just clicked on Tsaboin website and from his homepage,i could see everything i need to know about how his web application works and to conclude if i want to receive updates |
oh this has reached frontpage? lol. Mods |
presiade: A friend was recently invited for an interview after passing aptitude test. He was to come with 4 copies of his CV, 4 passports, credentials and ID... But at the pre-interview screening, three of his CV were returned to him (not so for others) and he was cleared to do the interview.i don't understand that part. You mean your friends took 4 different type of CV along with him? |
Tonto frontpage again.. Mods i hail ooooo |
Kemi is here again. Trying to get us to click her website |
Note to traffic.ng. Not everybody wants to sign up before seeing the benefits of your application. That pisses some people off. it be nice if you try not to force people to register before they use your web application. I cant even see anything apart from the screen trying to force me to sign up sites like tsaboin.com which is similar to yours allows users to see traffic update before even registering which is a plus for tsaboin |
frosbel: Near Death Experiences, more like hallucinationsi dey fear you oo ![]() |

mikkybrick: Storage vmotion is phenomenal.haha. i feel you. i have been there man. i am currently studying now even though i come on nairaland. Like i said,i work as internal IT so i only get calls when things go wrong which often does not at the moment as i have ensured everything is going fine. i have my own office so i do use video tuotorials to learn at work. go online to read blogs and draft a deployment plan or disaster recovery plan at work which i tend to do at home during the weekends.it more of reading at work and practice at home for me. If i was working with an IT company,i don't think i will have this much flexibility. Besides driving to work and back is 30 minutes which sometimes gives me chance to get home early, relax watch movie and even study after.I feel you about that lagos traffic men. I feel that traffic drains enerygy away from you and by the time you get home, you are knackered. If you use tutorials like trainsignals, i think they have the mp3 version and wmv formats which you can copying into your phone so you could be listening while driving home (Sounds crazy but my guy does it and he says he picks up valuable info listening only) or watch it on your phone. i guess it just about creating time out of no time |
Bloggers again |
Nigerian entrepreneur is positioning himself to be acquired by Google, after the company recently bought a traffic based app, Waze, for a whopping $1 billion dollars
Sounded like Google was going to buy his website . Nice marketing stunt Linda. There are many websites like this all over the world. what makes this one different or better that will make Google interested? |
why will this type of topic make frontpage? |
