But i paid the normal rate for Compact plus (N7,850) and still i was not connected so i called customer service and they insisted that i must pay the balance (N1,600) before i am reconnected. What happened to the court injunction? isnt this contempt?....isnt it illegal?

This has happened to me a couple of times in a few filling stations in lagos, i vivdly remember something similar happening to me in the Mobil filling station along Ikorodu road.
I parked, came out of the car, told the dude i wanted N4,000 worth of fuel and watched him reset the metre. i was then discussing something with my wife all of a sudden the metre stopped......i simply knew for the period of time the metre was running it couldnt have dispensed the amount i asked, so asked the guy how much he put and he said N1,000....i told him'no' that i asked for N4000. he simply apologised and said ok. i then turned back to my wife but i didnt check the metre again.
Even the whole changing from Generator to PHCN excuse, i have been through that too.
