The facts of the matter and evidences are so overwhelming that for the first time, the Nigerian judiciary is under pressure to either redeem her image or completely whute-wasg whatever fading image it has.

From double nomination of VO Shettima, to Tinubu's criminal forfeiture of $460000, to controversial academic records, 25% requirement for FCT, the Tinubu's regime looked set to be sacked.

What is more? The INEC could not adjudged themselves to have done well. The INEC chairman himself was quoted as saying that they failed in result collation. That alone is a self-indictment which the court need not search for proof of. This is in addition to the damning report from the EU observers. The latter was so impactful that the inglorious regime had to sponsor state protest to the EU office.

In fact, knowing that they are facing removal, the government has been running here and there seeking to truncate the judicial system.
From calling the CJN for help to attempting to force some justices to resign, we see obvious signs of desperation.

No polling agent keeps the white copy of the Form EC8A.

Only INEC keeps it. INEC says that based on their collation, APC won the election.
The PEPT subpoenaed them to produce the copies. They refused. In the absence of evidence that they have a copy of these forms, the PEPT would have to accept the IREV copies certified by INEC.

The case is clear - if INEC produces those white top copies, Obi will be returned as elected by the PEPT. So they are choosing to let the PEPT declare the election significantly non-compliant and order a rerun.

But Obi is also holding APC by the jugular as their candidate stands to be disqualified for various reasons. If he escapes LP, there's PDP, and there's APM, all coming at BAT with different issues.

Infact, there's no hiding place for APC now. They just want to resort to threats and arm-twisting tactics.

Go back and listen to obi and Atiku press conferences after the election. They were both categorical about the fact that they won the election but we're rigged out by INEC. It was at the tribunal hearing we started hearing non qualification issues. Why did they abandon their initial positions? They should stop misleading the gullible ones and heating up the polity.

So we all now agree that obi and Atiku never won the election. They've both abandoned that plea.
