coogar: they are 20 points below bayern in germany!
if united sacrifice the premier league title to chase the champions league, don't you think we would be fierce in europe?
Madrid is a gazzilion points behind Barca, How is that working for them?

City is double digits behind manre how is that working out

coogar: shut up your stüpid mouth - can welbeck play as a central midfielder or have you lost your ability to reason properly? all of a sudden, all bundesliga players are world class and in front of our eyes we saw how the highly rated nuru sahin looked shyte in madrid and looked even shittier in liverpool.

there's no guarantee lewandowski or gotze would cut it in the premier league........dzeko is another example of a big time player in germany that has flopped in england! put them in teams who don't play the high-octane energy games they are used to and they would wither off!
Sahin? Because some clubs are foolish enough to buy players going down. The same Sahin cant even break back into the Dortmund team

Dzeko is still wayy better than your boyfriend Fernandud

Fussbot: so??jst bcus gundogan had a decent game yestdae naw makes him a world class or better dan welbeck??btw dey ain't playing in d same position...mtshweew...I wld rada buy bender..
Gundogan has been excellent in every game since the season began, Go and watch the game vs Man City and every Dortmund game in the group stage and see how Gundogan bossed Yaya Toure and those EPL stars

The Bender twins are also wayy better than that mediocre Welbeck the only reason they didnt make my top ten was because they were born in 1989 and not 1990.

debosky: Winter break ko, summer holiday ni.

Dortmund had winter break last season did they not? Yet Arsenal beat them at the Emirates and drew at the Iduna.

Sometimes things click for you and it works.
You sef dey see the asinine argument

When Messi was using Leverkusen to break records last year didnt they go on Summer vacations?

Gomez wouldnt fit into BvB playing style
Cos Gomez is a poacher not really a ball playing striker

Where is the guy comparing Benzema to Lewandowski?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by sleekdot(m): 1:49pm On Apr 25, 2013
StarBoard: I think he's similar to RvP. So adding him might offset the balance of the attack.
Not that he isn't good enough. I think he's the best striker in Europe right now.
unless Rooney goes, i think we might not have need for him.
But I gotta hand it to you, cus you started making noise about him just before Euro 2012, if my memory serves me correctly.
Turns out this noise was worth listening to!
You are right Lewandowski is the best 9 in Europe currently, He is the best striker with his back to the goal cos of his silky skills and control.

Last weekend he made record in the Bundesliga by scoring in his 11th consecutive game
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by sleekdot(m): 1:47pm On Apr 25, 2013
RuuDie: I agree with you...unless we lose a striker or two, we don't have to go chasing BVB for him; maybe we can look at one or two of their midfielders. Upfront for now, we are alright.
Why are you going for Dortmunds midfielders

Shebi Welbeck is better than all players in Germany like we were told.

Not 72hrs ago Someone was comparing Gundogan to Welbeck. If na those days na invisible slap he suppose get

thegoodjoehunt: Sahin is just returning. The team has been on for Two seasons without him. He is coming in and with the departure of Gotze, he will get more games. So what is the problem. Do you think Klopp went for Sahin, if he didn't need him.
Klopp went for Sahin for depth purposes which Dortmund is lacking.

Ever since Sahin left Dortmund has been better and his replacement Gundogan is way better than him. Sahin cant replace Gotze. Neither can Gundogan. The pace required for Dortmund quick transition neither Sahin nor Ilkay has it and thats what they require from their front 3-4. Transition from midfield to attack at break neck pace
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: UCL: Dortmund Vs Real Madrid (4 - 1) On 24th April, 2013 by sleekdot(m): 1:18am On Apr 25, 2013
thegoodjoehunt: How can you say that Gundogan can't play as an attacking midfielder. Playing as an attacking midfielder doesn't mean you must play as an attacker. Look at Arteta at Arsenal. He has played both deep lying and forward attacking midfielder.

By the way Nuri Sahin has played 12 games since returning in January. Is that warming bench. Please Nuri Sahin is very important to Dortmund.
Of those 12 games he started on the bench in 6 of them and he has only played 627 minutes since he joined

That my guy is benchwarming

If he plays then it takes a huge part out of his game and cant function effectively.

Its like saying Cazorla plays as a winger sure he can but would he be effective is the main question
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: R36L Madrid - Most Successful & Greatest Champ15ns of Spain, Europe & W9rld by sleekdot(m): 12:44am On Apr 25, 2013
To put things in proper perspective

This Dortmund is 20 points behind Bayern
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: UCL: Dortmund Vs Real Madrid (4 - 1) On 24th April, 2013 by sleekdot(m): 12:43am On Apr 25, 2013
thegoodjoehunt: Sahin left Liverpool because he wanted to play as a deep lying playmaker like Pirlo and Xavi. Brendan Rodgers doesn't like that play and wanted an attacking midfielder. Nuri Sahin was on loan, so Liverpool let him go. Not that he wasn't doing well.

By the way, did you notice Klopp send Gundogan forward and brought in another deep midfielder. He could also play Gundogan in a more advance role. As for the defensive midfield role. I think Sven Bender has come of age and should be left there.
Sahin left Liverpool to play deep lying midfielder and he is now sitting on the Dortmund bench comfortably Does that make sense?

Klopp moved Gundogan up in a tactical switch they needed to defend, they were up 4 -1

He switched from 4-2-3-1 to 4-3-3,

He brought in Kehl and played Kehl-Bender with Gundogan forward

That is a defensive set up

Gundogan cant play at Attacking midfield

thegoodjoehunt: Nuri Sahin did well but he didn't like the role. Mikel was pushed forward at the nation's cup, and he was clearly the best player of that tournament. It is in youth tourneys you can really see the real talents of players.
So are you suggesting Bvb force Sahin back to a role he stated clearly he doesnt like?

How did Sahin do well in Liverpool? He did well that he was shipped out in 6 months

merengue: I agree about their age but they can always go for someone outside Germany. I think they won't want to antagonize BVB. They would go for either Draxler (Schalke 04) or Patrick Hermann (B.Monchengladbach). Lets see how Holtby progresses at Spurs though, he is another one
Patrick Herman would most likely go to Dortmund to join Reus there. Bittencourt and Leitner are also promising

I think they might get Ginter and Ginzeck too

I dont think Bayern would sign any of those 2 right now

Lewandoski has a huge chance of moving to Bayern I would say like 70% chance of him signing with Bayern
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: UCL: Dortmund Vs Real Madrid (4 - 1) On 24th April, 2013 by sleekdot(m): 11:52pm On Apr 24, 2013
thegoodjoehunt: Age is catching up with Robben and Ribery. Bayern are planning for the future, that was why they captured Boateng, Martinez and now Gotze. Reus will be perfect to come in. I believe Bayern is not going for him because Dortmund just bought him but their telescope is on him.
If Ribery and Robben leaves Bayern still have Shaqiri and Muller plus Gotze and some promising younglters like pierre Hodjberg, And Weiser
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: UCL: Dortmund Vs Real Madrid (4 - 1) On 24th April, 2013 by sleekdot(m): 11:49pm On Apr 24, 2013
thegoodjoehunt: It is not just about buying players. I believe Bayern wants the best German players playing in their club. That was why they fought and took Jerome Boateng from Man City. That is why they are getting Gotze and Reus is up their among the best German players.
Bayern wont sign Reus. They have no space for him and Reus already declined Bayern last season

Gotze is a generational talent and Bayern would be stupid to let the best German player go abroad
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: UCL: Dortmund Vs Real Madrid (4 - 1) On 24th April, 2013 by sleekdot(m): 11:48pm On Apr 24, 2013
thegoodjoehunt: Actually, Sahin can play there but he prefers playing deep. All the games he played for Liverpool was as an attacking midfielder and he did well. In the U17 world Cup in '05. He also played as a creative midfielder, not deep lying and he did well.

He can clearly fit into the midfield with Gundogan and Bender.
Nuri Sahin did well in Liverpool Are you serious?

Below is Sahins quote after leaving Liverpool

Sahin, who was a target for Arsenal last summer, has returned to Borussia Dortmund but that has not stopped him blaming Rodgers for his underwhelming spell at Anfield, insisting he was played out of position without explanation from the Irishman.

‘Brendan Rodgers wanted me to play as a 10 but I do not play behind the forwards,’ said Sahin. ‘I spoke with him and asked him why I was playing there. It is not my real position. The boss could not answer me... still, I am not sorry about it.

2008/2009 Bundesliga had a break from December 14 2008 till January 23 2009

In the same season La Liga had a break from December 20 2008 to January 3 2009

You now see that calling you a tool is the best compliment you can get given your deficient reasoning process
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: UCL: Dortmund Vs Real Madrid (4 - 1) On 24th April, 2013 by sleekdot(m): 11:29pm On Apr 24, 2013
thegoodjoehunt: Definitely. Gotze's departure will create Room for Nuri Sahin to become the midfield Marshal of Dortmund again. With Gundogan and Sven Bender staying behind. Also the youngster, Lietner will get more games. The kid got mad potentials. I also believe Dortmund still has raw talents.

The question is, will Dortmund still be able to Keep Jurgen Klopp. He has been monumental in the building of this team and getting them motivated. If Klopp stays, then there is no fear, what he did with Sahin, Kagawa, Gotze and Lewandowski, will repeat again.
Sahin cant play at Attacking midfield his best role is as a Deep retainer which Gundogan is playing right now and even doing better

Options to replce Gotze would be hard Maybe Isco, Eriksen they might try for Draxler but Schlke wont sell
