In dose days, wifes suffered, smiled n endured in dia matrimonial homes. My Paternal grandma sufferd so much in d hands of my grandpa. Nigeria Police; bunch of nuiscance! Last wk Sunday in Akure a police van chased d taxi I was in becos d driver did nt give dem dia Usual'. Wen dey caught up wit him dey wanted to take d occupants wit dem to God knws where bt we all declined n came down. Den a police officer accused me of usin my handbag to hit his rifle. I had chicken pox in September dis year. The scars n spots r evident on my stomach and back. I hv bin usin Shear Butter(ori) to rub my tommy; its a slow course bt I am noticin an improvement. The first time I did HIV test way in 2007 @ d NYSC orientation camp. I just took d bold step, though some of my friends tried to discourage me. This is really sad. I wish to state here that this kind of behaviour is not peculiar to a tribe/ religion. I know a number of women who endure abusive relationships / marriage whilst hoping things r gonna get better. The truth is, it doesn't get better but gets worse.
