Foreign AffairsRe: Should George Bush Also Face Trial? by sleekp1: 11:51pm On Jun 21, 2009
Tudór:
Why should BUSH be tried?
He's done nothing but free the world from the grasp of growing islamic fundamentalism and terrorism. He's made the world a safer place, and for that your unborn generations will remember him.
So Bush has stopped islamic fundamentalism, do you even watch the News.
Islamic fundamentalism is alive and well in Iran at least, Lol !!

Seriously man try watching the News and stop making a fool of yourself.

PoliticsRe: American Gala Seller Responds! by sleekp1: 8:57pm On Jun 21, 2009
So where is this stupid Sean? Am sorry to burst the bubble but there was no Sean, in fact there have never been a Sean.
The Sean we're all responding to is one of these Nigerians who defends America more than Americans. This inbred is so uncomfortable in his zulu skin that he goes around all parts of Nairaland defending American whites. (as if America whites needed defending, what a joke.)
Foreign AffairsRe: Omar Bongo Of Gabon Is Dead. by sleekp1: 7:58pm On Jun 08, 2009
Omar Bongo is asleep and will wake up as defense minister (sorry just found out he already has, and his new name is Ali Bongo).
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Is Improving At A Fast Rate! by sleekp1: 7:53pm On Jun 08, 2009
Irked by this condition, the plaintiff protested against it on the ground that a mature adult citizen of the country like her should not require the consent of any person before she could be issued a Nigerian passport, but her protest fell on deaf ears, thus the decision to file the suit against the NIS.
You go gurl!

PoliticsRe: What If Europe And America Make Their Countries Visa Free For Nigerians? by sleekp1: 7:22pm On Jun 08, 2009
@chidichris
You continue to say you want to emigrate and this begs the question: why haven't you left? Was your visa refused? If you've applied many times for visa and they continuously refuse you, maybe its time you count your loses and move on. Other people still make it in Nigeria and you should concentrate this visa energy on making it in  Nigeria. You could spend the rest of your adult life queuing at the American embassy and still get jack. Think my friend, think.

JustGood:
As someone said before, if Nigerians are moved to UK and Brits moved to Nigeria, Nigerians will start applying for visas to come to Nigeria within 10/15 years.
What an apt analogy.
PoliticsRe: Biafra Government In Exile (bgie) Position Statement On Situation In Niger Delta by sleekp1: 3:05pm On May 27, 2009
I think Biafran supporters could do well to shut up. Another civil war in this generation would wipe out the remaining Ibo people(am not in support).
I love Ibo people and wish them no harm, but enough of this blatant militancy.

PoliticsRe: State Govt To Transform Lagos Into Huge Construction Site. by sleekp1: 10:12pm On May 26, 2009
A-town:
I knew you would respond immediately. You don't always have to be right. Take a chill pill. Go grab some mickidies or sumthin.

"Enabling" environment includes :
Clean environment
Improved transport system. BRT etc. 2000 corporate taxi cabs were recently commissioned to ease transport.
Better roads
Computerisation of vehicle registration, tax payments blah blah blah. All these things have brought more people in
Of course there will always be people that will come into lagos no matter what. (too much money to be made)
The fact is that the new lagos is gradually becoming an investment haven and tourist destination.
The number of international hotels billed to be commissioned by year end justifies that.
Visit Skyscrappercity.com if you need visual proof
@A-town

Ssh!! Please never post any good news from Nigeria, it makes some Nigerians feel real bad. On a Nigerian forum Nigerians are scared of saying anything positive about the nation in case it irks Kobojunkie etc. You couldn't make it up.
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Former President Commits Suicide For Corruption! by sleekp1: 1:23pm On May 26, 2009

PoliticsRe: Must See: Nuhu Ribadu In Us Session by sleekp1: 1:58am On May 24, 2009
The people against Ribadu are either agents of doom/Ibori. If you are realistic you will know it's better to prosecute one person than not to prosecute at all. Any one doing his job is hindered even before you start that job. Ribadu would have lasted one week had he prosecuted Obasanjo's cronies.

zomby:
Who is this governor that wanted to give him 15m?
Ribadu is nothing but a common thief who has ran out of ideas on how to clear his name.
What an outrageous opinion.
So Ribadu who has gone to the US parliament to canvas for a law that helps to prevent ruler's from looting their people ran out of ideas to clear his name. I hope the above poster (Zomby) is not as stupid as his name suggest.
PoliticsRe: Should Nigeria Give A Loan To Sao Tome And Principe? by sleekp1: 10:49am On May 21, 2009
Fg should go ahead and give them a loan. The benefits would outweigh any inconvenience.
PoliticsRe: Is Satan Really A Black Man? by sleekp1: 10:46am On May 21, 2009
blackspade:
Some of you people seem to be forgetting a few things. In this Eurocentric world we live in, white = good, and black = bad.

For example:

White magic - magic used for good purposes, esp. to counteract evil (black of course)

Black Friday - any Friday on which a public disaster has occurred
You said "black = bad" so why choose the moniker Blackspade?

PoliticsRe: All British Mps Are Thieves, True Or False. by sleekp1: 10:28am On May 21, 2009
Ijawman:
Gbam. Even the thief speaker BANKOLE could not resign and Madam Etteh almost wanted to die there after a heavy indictment. This is unlike the British paliamentary speaker who resigned over a mere 2000 pounds in a matter of days. Shame to the poster and his hypocrisy.
The speaker was forced to resign, the man was humiliated and had no option.

Absolute no need to call people names.  What is difference btw the Nja wey dey abroad and the one wey dey ground - absolute Nather The diaspora tag is the biggest fraud.  The two are gutless fortunately the one abroad has tasted how life is meant to be but cant muster enough energy to change things back home.

if you expect to come back to Europe in nja then " you are the biggest fool"
What is the meaning of the highlighted sentence?
PoliticsRe: People Who Dont Have A'thing 2 Add To Dis Country Except Criticism Shld B Ignore by sleekp1: 3:30pm On May 19, 2009
@tosh_acer
I salute you for being a fine Nigerian. I can see how peeved you are when these morons continuously criticizes Nigeria without proffering a way forward.
These people are enduring hard times abroad hence vent their angst on the nation.
In nearly two decades abroad the only Nigerians I come across who constantly whines are the ones not doing well.

They expect to come back to a "European" style Nigeria. They expect the ones back home to create a "Utopian" nation forgetting they couldn't do same while in Nigeria.
Treat them as losers, which they are. The only thing that makes them feel better about their sorry life is to castigate every Nigerian but themselves.

PS
In a recent post Elrazur was insisting the only solution for Nigeria is civil war. This same Muppet said several times he won't return to Nigeria cos his profession lacks basic amenities hence he won't be able to do his job perfectly should he return. He remains abroad while wishing war on his compatriots. Elrazur is an evil man and he's not alone.

No they won't. Not if Nigeria continues down this road.
Shouldn't we all just leave and maybe wait for America to rebuild it so we can move back? Genius idea.

very boring and empty thread
This question should be directed at chidichris  because the man hasn't got a clue. The only time he comments on a thread is to rain abuses on Govt and Nigeria. What a looser.

She's not the only Iranian American in Tehran, you can't just hang someone on a whim or notion, haba.
They were being nice to Obama when they released her, they believed she was a low level CIA operative.

You hate Obama more than most white dudes, I mean why do you  mumbo jumbo, dilly dally and generally act as mouth piece for "rascist" America? How did this hatred start?
