PoliticsRe: Why I Can't Run For Election Now -anyaoku by sleekp1: 11:23am On Mar 27, 2009
Every polity needs good and bad people to balance out equation. If GW Bush wasn't that bad Obama probably wouldn't have won the American election. He might have to fight dirty a little, but gosh we need people like him urgently. We may not need him when our elected Representatives plays by the book. This is the time for him to come and make a difference, why wait till Nigeria don't need him.

Well I believe you should forgive him and apologise for your attitude and try and make things work, there is no perfect person on earth we need forgiveness to live together in harmony, two wrongs cannot make a right. Be good to him, pray and trust God that things will work out well for both of you, there is nothing that God cannot do.
I totally agree with moi2, there's no perfect man on earth and you might also be telling us your version of events.

why bother with these peeps.nairaland unfortunately has just as many bad as it has good, indeed,the bad(liars,ignoramuses etc).you'd be surprised to know that some of these same peeps mouthing themselves off (no pun intended) ARE gay or Bisexual,and more of those who aren't are certainly BICURIOUS enough to spend so much time on the matter.
just live your life.
Same conclusion here. Why are some people so emotionally charged when the issue of homosexuality is discussed? I think some of them are fighting their true sexuality. What business of mine is it if two adults decides to f%ck each other.

I wouldn't use the site. Why didn't they think of another unique name for their site, do they really have to copy nairalist's format to be successful? They're scammers and have no original thoughts of their own.

PoliticsRe: Homosexuals Storm National Assembly by sleekp1: 2:00am On Mar 17, 2009
Its not strange amongst Nigerians to label anyone in support of "homosexual rights" a homosexual. The same mindset was what kept slavery going well pass its sell by date (pun intended). In western society most white people were scared of being labeled "Nigger lovers" hence kept quiet.
We Nigerians love to discriminate, haba if we're not discriminating against someone of a different tribe then we discriminate on the basis of religion.

P.S
The only people we should all legally discriminate against are "shortie"
I believe short people should not be given federal jobs, why can't short people set up their own business and leave us alone.
PoliticsRe: Homosexuals Storm National Assembly by sleekp1: 9:28am On Mar 14, 2009
Thirty one lesbians have been reported murdered in homophobic attacks since 1998, but support groups say the actual number is probably much higher because crimes on the basis of sexual orientation are not recognized in the South African criminal justice system, ActionAid said.
Are these not the same black Africans who just over a decade ago were regarded as sub-human?
Time to look for someone to oppress (bring your own tires).

TOYOSI20:
Were the shootings committed outside the gates?? huh
No, but if there was metal detectors he probably would have waited outside the gates.
Metal detectors would be irrelevant  if the man had waited outside school gate at close of school. Metal detectors stop you from getting shot at school premises not outside.
Tighten what gun laws?? U mean as much as they tighten them on hard paraphernalia, and other controlled substances?? undecided
If the law had made possession of weapons illegal those people would still be alive now. This kid used his father's bereta (his dad has 18 guns). Why was his father allowed to take the guns home from his gun club?

As for "other paraphernalia and other controlled substances" start a new thread on the topic and am sure I'll contribute.

metal detectors is not the answer cos the dude would have waited outside the gates to commit these murders. German chancellor needs to tighten gun laws even more.

@RichyBlacK
RichyBlacK:
@sleek_p,

I see it as exposing the sorry state of affairs in Saudi-Arabia. Just like Lagosboy said, and I've been saying for some time now, the House of Saud is an oppressive cabal. They use Islam to subdue and oppress the people, to keep them in check; as if Islam will not exist without them. We've seen this in the past when monarchies in Europe used Christianity to brutally oppress the people. Today, it is happening in Saudi Arabia, and a few other countries.
I was trying to point out that osisi was always looking for ways to knock Northerners or Muslims. Your assertion that she was trying to expose "the sorry state of affairs in Saudi-Arabia is wrong. You only have to view most of her post to conclude she despises people from northern Nigeria and by extension Muslims.
To live in the relative and peaceful western countries while advocating religious war in your homeland I think is evil.

Am not a fan of Islam neither am I a fan of radical Christianity.

@Grandmama osisi
You must live a very sad life trolling the net looking for anti Muslim articles.  As a Christian  I believe we have extreme Christians and extreme Muslims. I think you belong to "fringe" African Christianity of worshiping and mixing native gods with the real God. Constantly looking for enemies and blaming your own failures on percieved enemies. What a sad existence.

P.S
If Iya osisi was a Muslim, I bet she would have ended up a female suicide bomber.

Killing of a woman or anybody is wrong with or without a gun.
