It will take long for people like Kobojunkie (programmer) to return to Nigeria, since we have thousands of unemployed programmers in Nigeria.
Anyway I've given myself the next 3yrs to complete my return to Nigeria.

No one answered Dae's question, please can someone give me an average cost of a wedding in Naija. I don't want "it depends on your budget" kind of answer, lol.
For someone living abroad, how much should one take to naija for wedding? Advice and answers would be greatly appreciated.

Something to ponder for those who refused to accept the tribalistic nature of the 1966 coup plot.
Why are the major players in the coup largely Igbo and why was no notable Igbo leader killed.  Haba were the plotters unable to find the likes of Okpara, Azikiwe, Ironsi etc. To argue that the 1966 coup was not an Igbo coup or that the northerners should not have reacted flies in the face of rational thinking.

The north only reacted to what the Igbos did and as texazzpete asked "Do you think the people who killed Igbos in the North were Professors and scholars?"

What is funny in this sorry events, is the fact that anytime Nigerian wants to justify their genocide action against the Igbos, the likes of Nzeogwo who is from the present Delta state is regarded as an Igboman but if their is money to be shared or project to be sighted, that part of Igboland in Delta state are instantly denied their Igboness and they are no longer Igbos.

I never heard anything so incongruous, so because my shoes were made by foreigners then my country's national anthem should be written by a foreigner. How ludicrous can some people be.
A Chinese, Arab, Indian, Japanese, American even a Ghana man would wear foreign clothes, drive foreign cars, eat foreign food but have a national anthem written by there citizen, why?
Nigeria stopped being a British colony in 1960 why should we Nigerians hold on to words written for us by Brits. As I asked earlier, can't we find amongst the 140,000.000 Nigerians a man who can compose an anthem?

NK is a dying nation with an attention seeking President. I pity the poor souls who have endured him this long. Japan and US are on stand-by to shot down any missiles that may cross over Japan.

For weeks Japan and the US has been warning it will shoot down any NK rocket, well I just heard on the news it  flew over Japan and they did jack,  NK has mighty China behind it.

The old anthem was a relic of British rule, how can our National Anthem be written by a foreigner? Can't people in Nigeria compose an anthem?

For those of us lucky enough to have fled the country the least we can do is invest in Nigeria or shut up.

Having lived and studied abroad, what innovation did you bring to Nigeria?
Am sure it's human beings that built America and Europe which we so admire.

If you've not made it overseas, blame yourself and stop raining your frustration on Nigeria.

Am actually surprised India move this tournament to SA when you have nearly 2million cricket loving Asians in the UK.
