The telecommunications industry changed not because of federal govt foresight but rather as a result of the global technological breakthrough in telecommunications.
It was hardly govt policy what happened in the telecommunication sector. New "satellite"technology made communication accessible to all.

What makes 'Iya' osisi happy is when people join her in laughing at Arab countries, Muslims, Northerner's etc.

Every topic is about religion or "Hausa" people. I sometimes wonder who woulda been the butt of her joke's if there weren't Muslims. I bet this female bully woulda found an "imaginary" enemy, what a sad person.

true talk.
Alli tared half the roads at Ekpoma, gave them a university etc, in fact only the people of Ekpoma would say Alli was a man of substance. The rest of Ishan suffered at the expense of upgrading Ekpoma to city status.

incidentally, both Professor Alli and Professor Osunbor are from the same place.
The writer obviously did not do much research else he woulda known they're both Ishan but definitely not from the same place.

PoliticsRe: Nigerians Let Fight For United States Of Africa. by sleekp1: 5:54am On May 12, 2009
If you declare a United states of Africa, most of Africa's poor would move to their wealthier neighbours (e.g South Africa). Good idea but it will not work for now.
PoliticsRe: I May Give Up On Nigeria Soon by sleekp1: 5:39am On May 12, 2009
If he wants to give up on Nigeria, let him go, who give's a flying Bleep?  I mean if not for the generous and hardworking Americans (who they rely on for welfare cheques), most of these people woulda relocted to another ready made country. They move their lazy asses from one country to the other in serch of 419.

Check the reasons they gave in their post, does that not tell us
their brains are less well developed than adult Chimps. Read their post and you come to the conclusion that they feed from other people's attention, or  why is it the same people (Kobojunkie etc) who gave up on Nigeria spends more time on Nigeria's flagship Internet domain? To hell with professional debaters.

P.S
Does Seun pay these professional debaters?

Why must we "learn to solve our own problems" when God will solve it for us?

Problem is I don't understand "gibberish" try Kobojunkie who's fluent in that language.

What point did he miss? Instead of pouring scorn on other people's achievement the least you guys can do is achieve something notable yourself.

Stop sitting in front of computer and belittling other people's achievement whilst doing Bleep-all yourself.

Foreign AffairsYank Racist Michel Savage Banned From Britain by sleekp1(op): 1:41pm On May 06, 2009
Thank God he's not allowed to take his racist message to Britain. This disgusting man said that only white people don't vote based on race. This monster accused black people of voting for Obama based on his color. He could not see that Obama appeals to people irrespective of color. What a retard.

Lets see how poor your sorry life will be when you stop ROFLMAO when any good news comes out of Nigeria.
People like Sapele guy etc are only just beginning to realise what I've been saying for a long time. For someone so anti-Nigerian to spend 12hrs daily on a Nigerian forum speaks volume. (anything to make your poor ass feel big).

From a psychological point of view your post comes across like a cry for help.
If you have no views on how to make Nigeria great and if your only contribution is to tell us how bad Nigeria is then please honour your vow.
Thanks kobojunkie, and please keep to your promise, don't comment on Nigerian issues again.
Most of us know Nigeria has not performed to the standard expected of it, and are trying to drag it into the 21st century without punks like you.

Yes the Swine flu has arrived in Britain, 2 reported cases in Scotland. I went to work today and refused to shake any one's hand, I think I won't be going to any crowded places including church for the foreseeable future.

Foreign AffairsRe: Swine Flu: Time To Stop Yanks & Mexicans From Entering Nigeria by sleekp1(op): 7:32pm On Apr 26, 2009
ElRazur:
Well you can't exactly ban people like that. What we can do is instead quarantine them if needed, but since we lack the capacity to do this, it would be better to suspend VISA temporarily till the out break is curtailed if we are that concerned.

Finally, I think it is wrong that you see the need to refer to people as swines. smiley
If you only suspend visa, people with Nigerian passport will still pass through hence the purpose is defeated. Stop anyone arriving from Mexico and the US, and you're half way from halting the spread.

tpiah:
Today's news:

cases found in New York.

that was fast- yesterday they said Texas, today it's jumped to New York.

lord have mercy.
The difference between us and them is, they use their resources well and can curtail it.
Foreign AffairsSwine Flu: Time To Stop Yanks & Mexicans From Entering Nigeria by sleekp1(op): 2:20am On Apr 26, 2009
My cousin arrived Lagos tonight and while chating with him I found out Yanks and Mexicans are still allowed into Naija willynilly. Most countries of the world like Japan are stopping and quarantining any one arriving from Mexico and the US. Our govt is always slow to react to events, I mean what is the FG waiting for?  Is it not time we ban these swines. If this had happened in Nigeria they woulda banned us, isn't it.

Foreign AffairsRe: Obama: What Family Is All About by sleekp1: 1:13pm On Apr 25, 2009
ElRazur:
You are missing the point. The Obama family is an "image" with a PR behind it. Is it not a bit odd to you how they appear "perfect" and "doing the right thing" all the time?

It is well known that "playing a family" is one way to win the hearts of the people. This have nothing to do with what you are suggesting.
Please name one US President that didn't have  "PR" behind it and please don't forget to tell me who "put this family together". Thanks.

The Gurkhas are mugs who fight in conflicts that has no links to them. These people are hired mercenaries and deserved to be taken for a ride.
Nepalese should be fighting for Nepal not acting as canon fodder for white imperialism. Kudos to the Home Sec for this audacious move.

ElRazur:
You need to realise that the Obama family is not a "true family" but something put together so that it suits the expectation of the wider audience. On contrast "The simpsons" represent a "truer family" than the Obamas.
So who put this family together? Must be the democrat's who put them together in the hope of winning 2008 election. Genius!!!
