I need your thots on this issue. I've obviously missed my sept 17 resumption date since i am yet to get my study permit, its been 11 weeks now. The school has deferred my admission to April 2019, as there's no Jan start for my program. The issue is i really do not want to wait till April, I'm thinking of withdrawing my application and then just go do my masters in d UK, which will end by May/June, just about when I'm supposed to start d Canada program. I can then apply for EE or PN with my masters degree which wld boost my points.
Wat do u guys think? Wat r d implications of withdawing my study visa application and how long wld it take to get my passport back?

Let me point this out..I'm not here to lecture anyone about their moral standards but we need to be careful about the type of stuff we post here because many are reading and it makes life difficult for prospective applicants.

SO you mean you paid 10k CAD into your account, so your student account reflects 10000CAD?? well, they said funds for personal expense should not be transferred to student account.. so I guess deduct CAD 8k which is for your 2years.. from reading this forum i know your tuition plus 10000 proof for the first year. you got 10k funding plus your fees which is 14k CAD... you should be good ask the gurus

Under existing protocol for permanent residency and long term non immigrants as students, CIC has the discretionary authority to determine through a medical test result, whether a person's health may constitute excessive demand on Canadian healthcare. So the good news is your HIV status is not a categorical disbarment from been given a visa. The bad news is you have to meet extra demands more than others. In addition to proving you can afford your studies and will come back to Nigeria, you have to also prove you have a credible plan and financial resources to foot the cost of your medical expenses and prescription drugs in Canada and that your health will not posse excessive demand on the Canadian health and social safety network. You will need to present to the VO a credible health plan in Canada on how you intend to take care of yourself financially. I suggest you get into immediate contact with health providers in Canada and buy insurance specific to your situation and submit with your application by emailing to Accra. Again, So sorry for your diagnosis. We thank God that HIV is no longer the epidemic it use to be and most HIV patients live normal lives with good medication.
