Jobs/VacanciesRe: If You Are Unemployed Consider This by Slizzords: 2:25pm On Jan 12, 2023
IyaTola:
If you are unemployed or Underemployed; Stop Sitting at Home;
Consider this

A lot of people have reached out to say it is difficult to get a job without having an influential connection, I totally disagree.

The problem is most of us sit down and expect jobs to come to us.

Employers don't owe you any jobs

See below Strategies that may help your job search;

1. Don't sit at home , move round, attend events

2. When you meet people, do not just greet them and leave, make a connection by striking a conversation and do not be shy to say you need a job.

3. Nurture the connections you make and keep in touch.

Don't expect that once you tell someone once you need a job, they ll always remember.

Keep in touch and don't be a nuisance.

Most people prefer text messages.

4. Do unsolicited visits to companies- A lot of mid sized businesses need employees and they will be willing to hire you.

5. Be well dressed as you move around.

Don't because you are unemployed look tattered and unkept, no employer wants an untidy employee. There are a lot of cheap options.

6. Volunteer, do internships even if the pay only cover your transport & feeding.

Offer to work for free rather than sitting at home. No experience is a waste.

7. Looking for a job is a full time job, so give it your best. Don't be tired of applying for jobs in 2023

I wish you all the best in your job search
This advice is for Mumu people , so make person way no get work Dey trek upandan abi? Attend events you Weren’t invited to lol .

Foolish advice
CareerRe: What's Your Experience Like Being A Teacher by Slizzords: 2:39pm On Jul 20, 2022
Am really suffering as a teacher, standing from morning till evening to earn a paltry sum of 50k every month. I teach two subjects physics and mathematics and it's hellish explaining to students, I tend to pour my frustrations on them.

I thank God for my POS kiosk and the God sent sales girl that's been helping me with it. All in all I need a better job angry angry

PoliticsRe: Gas Price Wahala!!! by Slizzords: 11:12am On Jun 29, 2022
FreeStuffsNG:
You are being alarmist and not putting your education to good use with this lamentation.

In the first place, gas cost has risen astronomically globally since Russia-Ukraine war started. Read up why it is so.
On your unnecessary dramatics about food, parents still feed their children as no sensible respondible parent will let his or her children go without food because of high gas prices. For as long as this war continues, gas price will remain high and that is why even Europe has started telling their citizens to cut down on gas usage and switch to alternatives, even EU itself has switched to other energy sources like coal.

If wealthy EU countries can switch to alternatives, that should teach you how to be sensible with your finances too when prices of any commodity is going sky high because of artificial reasons. That is called demand destruction to force price down. In Nigeria, we can switch to kerosene, coal etc to reduce demand for gas so that those who want to further profiteer from the scarcity can reduce their price.

Sensible parents have since bought stoves and coal pots for now like Europeans in order to wait out this war period and will get back to gas when the price falls.
This is the way out not just lamenting and forming a lamentation group.
Gas itself will one day be phased once we perfect the renewables.
I wasn't expecting anything reasonable from your brain , you lots just speak without thinking, all because you support this useless government

Lol.
You're quite funny, in all I feel your pains Bro.
Sorry on that.
Next time always do your own research
Crytocurrency isn't a get rich syndrome.

Thank your stars you're still left with $200,
If you believe you can still bounce back or get back your capital, couple with some profits
Then such dream is possible
Never give up.
Crytocurrency can change one's life for good.
Lastly
AVOID BINANCE with immediate alacrity
You won't get much potential incoming coins there.

Always DYOR..............
If I avoid binance , which one should I face?

I appreciate everyone who has tried to advise me one way or another. In the end I still have myself to blame , maybe it's time I succumb to people telling me to learn gee.

carik:
So sorry brother.
Please take your mind off it. Don't check your binance wallet. Resist all temptation and don't believe any one who gives you a forecast or prediction on when crypto will rise

We have all been through and still on that road.

Just take it that the money in that wallet is not yours. It is a borrowed money once you load it in.

If you have any other source of income, hold on to it and do not invest any further for now..

Identify your key needs , not wants and spend on them.

God be with you and in no time you'll be back on your feet.
thanks I appreciate

let’s face it, 1700$ is a lot of money to lose anywhere in the world . That’s almost a million naira..

My advice to you is
1. Don’t invest more, don’t even DCA( it’s easier for people to tell you to DCA na, E easy for mouth), nobody knows if the dip will get dipper ..

2. see things don’t always go as planned most time o. If things Dey always go as expected every one go don become billionaire na grin… no go Dey blame yourself too much jare. Ok assuming everywhere green now, u go blame yourself ?? No nah ...Anyway if I were you , I will rather hold on to the end , Walai I won’t sell it..

For u to invest 2k$, I believe , no matter what , u Dey ok financially small,
leave the coins to ride or die,.. delete binance for like 6 months or a year, take a break from crypto and Maintain your normal job , trust me, you will give testimony ..

3. Ignore people that will blame u that you didn’t make research.. higher percentage of investors are caught in the dip.. just that most won’t agree they’re loosing just to massage their egos..

May We live to enjoy the fruit of our labor ..

Cheers
Am not that financially ok boss, that money was my life savings honestly. Thanks for your advice

Madam you are always complaining about one thing or another , if it's not about your sister , na your nephew , dog , etc. What you really need is companionship from a man .

All this your mood swings and nagging will be a thing of the past once a man helps to remove all those cobwebs between your thighs. If I may ask when last did you have sex?
