Car TalkMy Dad Almost Died In The Night Because I Had No Car by Slizzords(op): 8:54pm On Mar 23, 2024
My dad was recently very ill in the middle of the night and I was at his place, we couldn't get Uber to take him to hospital because of car no dey, thank God he didn't die. This episode made me think of getting a car at least for mobility sake if not for anything.

Please I need help of Gurus in the house, what car can I buy that'll save fuel, good reliability and won't cost much in terms of maintenance. My budget is between 3-3.5m

I will be in the comment section thanks for your contributions.

Baby girl just did it. Wao:

First of all, to all the people who are already millionaires out there through genuine hard work, I'm sending you a very big shout out. I celebrate you. It's not easy making money genuinely at all.
I feel awesome about myself, I know it's not a big deal for many, but to me, it is.
I want to appreciate God for the wisdom, for making me smart, intelligent, kind in business, not fraudulent and very active.
I want to appreciate myself for not giving up on this vision. I have always been trying hard to break this limitation and make my first million naira, but it's been so difficult.
For a very long time, since I graduated without any meaningful job, despite all my efforts to get a job, all to no avail.
Is either one old man is promising you job, and inviting you to his hotel room to take advantage of you. or people telling you to borrow money and buy a job. In a country where the intelligent ones without connections and money are left to struggle and die in poverty with their potentials.
I have always put pressure on myself to become successful. I have been trying to raise money for my business. Over time, I discovered, taking a loan is not easy, following men, is not an option either to my kind of person. I don't even consider that as an alternative, I always see myself as too dignified to trade my body for money. It's a personal decision though.

I'm not from a wealthy home, my dad is late and my mum has tried her best. as a young girl growing up, I've always desire to be extensively rich and I know I can achieve that.

I'm so excited last night, was the first time in my early thirties, I owned a million naira in my account and it's all mine, from my hard work. This money was gotten out of continuous saving ( little-little money). I didn't give up even when most times, I lose money, I have daily expenses, bills from every sides for my family and the rest challenges, I still made it. I'm into buying and selling and I have done well this time.
Congratulations to me. I'm a supper young woman. I'm so proud of myself.
Thank you Lord for helping me. I can say it anywhere that you have been my everything.

Share your experience, the first time you made your first million naira?
Me, I was so excited, I sang worship songs throughout, I was even crying.

Speculators currently behind the unpatriotic and criminal arbitrage are already trapped with the executive orders and will get burnt las las ni

They want to keep on speculating , hype the overvalued street value of USD and call it parallel market price or projection. Smh. Eyin obaiye je lo ma re.

This current FG will not go borrowing money or use hard-earned forex inflow to fight against the overvalued US dollar on the streets. You all will get burnt las las.

Those being deceived to keep hoarding forex will get burnt severely las las. It's laughable ignorance when poorly educated people who have almost 100% of their day to day expenses in naira still go and hoard forex and crowd out those who genuinely need it. If they don't get burnt, no defence of the naira will. Not even EFCC that Mr Emefiele kept sending after them will make them stop.

I am 100% in support of the steps FG through CBN is taking to allow free float to determine our real aggregate demand till those unpatriotic elements are burnt by real market forces.

God bless President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. God bless Mr Cardoso. God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
You must be a very jobless fellow because I mean you're always present like a recurring decimal. Oga you no get work ni?

Just come here dey talk rubbish all the time.

I once told someone here the solution but I got no love. So, no free info. Buy one of my numerous phones at competitive prices and I'll give you a hint.
Some of you guys here are just unbelievably cow-like, go to the xioami thread and see how people help themselves out whenever phones of members have issues, everyone tries to proffer solutions.

You even have the guts to ask others for help on that thread and people proffer solutions to you yet you can’t reciprocate by sharing info to the guy whose note 10 plus has issues. You are sick in the head aswear.

I see you sell phones, I don’t think I’d like to patronize someone like you ever

@The bolded. I disagree with you. Redmi Note 10 Pro maybe 2years old but saying the camera is bad, like outrightly bad! I disagree. Just say you want MORE.
Can you drop 4 different samples of your shots on this thread?
If I show you shots that were taken by Redmi Note 10 pro as of now I'm sure you won't believe it.

N.B I use Redmi Note 10 pro and Pixel 5A (that's being advertised to you up there).

I'll advise that you should just get more knowledge about your phone camera, save more and buy something better.
The pixel 5a camera is better than the Redmi note 10 pro though Redmi camera isn’t all that bad.

Pixel 7a was what the guy advertised up there but I don’t think the battery life is all that good based on reviews I read online.

Good evening tech gurus, been using this Redmi Note 10 pro for quite sometime and to be truthful it has served me well, but the camera isn’t good at all and my business entails me to take nice pictures of my products so I need a badass phone with super duper cameras with good performance too.

Which one of Samsung s21 ultra or 13promax will be best for me, noting that I have been an android user most of my life though am open to trying something new , need genuine suggestions because I intend getting it latest next week by God’s grace.

My criteria is

1. Camera
2. Battery life
3. Performance

Cogs:
Hi guys,

This subject is important to me and I need some kinda mature advise and some funny ones as our custom is over here.

So, I have been in this house that I live for a while, everything has been going on smoothly. But, recently some guy moved in to the flat directly beside mine, this guy is single, and looks great and a lot of things changed.

Fast forward to the present day, this guy has this girl who comes around every weekend and sometimes during the week and I have been working from home throughout this month and I my ear is full really. They have sex almost every minute and the lady moans really loud, I can't get in between them na. Some times, if there is light, I play music very loud, to help protect the other neighbours from participating in their ceremony as their young teenagers also in the compound.

But guys, the frequent moaning sound is kinda tormenting. I am not single, I have a girl, we are practicing celibacy, but Omo!

Guys, how can I manage this kind of situation please?
What’s the meaning of all this?😒😒, she’s coming again on Sunday and I will make sure she moans louder. Ewu

To be honest I will advise the op to japa with that money. If he can get form A, 4 million will pay complete tuition in other european countries but he doesn't wanna japa. Op I will advise you to change the money to dollars and keep and see how the tinubu regime will be by November.
I really hope OP took your advice

That 15million that was worth $29000 with exchange rate at 520/$, is now $16000 in 2023 if you were wise then you’d have planned your escape from this hellhole if you had such amount .

To everyone reading this, plan your JAPA now before shit hits the roof finally.
TravelRe: How Do Families Pay Tens Of Millions To Japa Without Getting Ulcers by Slizzords:
I read all the posts in this thread word for word and I can say it makes for a very interesting read.
@sukkot from what I can deduce is one of those people who wants people to stay back in this hellhole by using armchair analysis that wouldn’t even work for everyone. The constant energy this sukkot spends in advocating against life in other countries is very odd.

If you do your calculations especially if you’re a professional in your field, or if you’ve got relevant skills by all means JAPA. Nigeria isn’t gettin better anytime soon

We were having a good sleep in the middle of the night with our windows widely opened.

In not more than 15 minutes later, We heard sounds of feet trudging towards our window. The thieves arrived and began muttering some words, they projected a powerful beam of light towards the room in a bid to see the us.

Luckily, we scurried and hid ourselves in the other room for it was a two-room apartment.

The arm robbers sighted one of us and they knew that there were occupants in the room.

They speedily approached the door and demanded for it to be open. We kept mute...

In what seemed like a millisecond, they jointly stamped hard against the door as it flung widely open.

They walked in in their numbers, my dad rushed towards them and began begging.

Surprisingly, he offered them to sit and they gladly oblige. He then constructed a Powerful speech on the hardship of the country, telling them how it has not been easy even for us.

He also commended their efforts and blamed the government for not having its youths at heart.

The hot-headed men who were equipped with various deadly weapons soon became cool.

They sighted wisdom in what my dad said as they left without turning back.

The next morning, a man whom had just collected money for a land he sold was found butchered in his apartment. It was garthered that those armed robbers were responsible .

That was the first and last time I experienced armed robbery.

God is indeed wonderful
