PoliticsRe: 162 Troops Desert Nigerian Army Within Last Week by Sloan: 8:38pm On Jul 14, 2014
Onlytruth: If the Nigerian government is serious about fighting "Boko Haram" it should start by reorganizing the military to reflect the reality of the situation we are facing. It is st..pid to allow a person from the North East or even North West to command even a platoon in the force deployed to fight "Boko Haram". During the Biafra war, no Igbo person commanded any reasonable group of military men that fought against Biafra. Why is Nigeria still pretending that the Nigerian army is still one and acting like anyone can be trusted to command any task force? And then we wonder why operational information leaks to "Boko Haram". I deliberately put quotes around "Boko Haram" because we don't know yet who funds/equips them, but we know that they enjoy sympathy in the North. It can even be a Northern army waiting to march on the rest of the country.

Solution to the Problem:

Declare FULL WAR in North East (or the whole North as the case may be). This would allow for the Biafran treatment to be metted to the North, afterall we are all Nigerians, aren't we?
I know onlytruth has never spoken sense since he was born because he was born with no sense really, I think the cockroaches and lizards eaten by you people during the war robbed all existing and new Ibos that human privilege? In any case, the difference here is that the NE did not declare secession, rather your incompetent ibo man president Elebechukwu Azikiwe's incompetence and inability to lead the country is the reason for BH. General Azzazzi said the same thing before he was killed in a helicopter crash by Ebelechkwi's PDP. Still the army is failing because the command in chief is weak, pussie president who cannot even command a colony of sugar ants! So mister, if you are waiting for the stupidity of declaring biafra treatment in NE, you are joking although everyone knows they've endured worse! They are not in a state of war, yet, thousands have been killed this year alone!

It's sad but at least it was ibos that killed him, they should bear the burden of guilt for eternity! Yet Ojukwu escaped and is celebrated? A coward runs, Ojukwu was the coward, yet he is celebrated? I am sure the 3 M ibos dead were part of the retribution for killing Ifeajuna and more for the killing of the eminent Yoruba commander, Victor Banjo! You can imagine what this 4 would do to Ojukwu as soon as he died in London? They must still be beating him till now, only this time there will be no ibo mobs to be propagandized like Ojukwu did in order to kill them!

rugged7: 3 million igbos dead and 20 pounds to re-start your life is really genocidal and criminal.
That is where the problem between the igbos and yorubas lie.
BUT, Igbos have done splendidly well since then, all things considered.
We-the igbo should forgive.... but NEVER forget.
I think bitterness and hate serves no beneficial purpose.

CultureRe: The Tom And Jerry Relationship Between The Igbos And Yorubas. by Sloan: 1:11pm On Jul 14, 2014
GVA: In as much as you all claim there is no discord between the Yoruba and Ibo race, the term "Omo Ibo" and "Ajaokuta ma mu omi"is the most derogatory piece if shot ive ever heard. It is surprising to note that there is no Omo Hausa , Omo Calabar, Omo Edo.
The yorubas are very learned , that i accepted but they are soo cowardly, that is why their young men cant leave their home towns in such of greener pastures. Incase you have not noticed the average ibo man in the west understand yoruba. He makes an effort to understand it, how many Yoruba men have you seen that can speak ibo. The numbers speak for themselves.

Nevertheless, in 2014 some of us are still liberal, which explains why i have sisters married to Yoruba men.
First, it is surprising that Ibos think they are like Germany! Who dash your monkey banana? Ibos also claim to be Jews, the same people Germany does not like and would have liked to get rid of them permanently but for the sake of their achievements, ibos now say they are like Germany? Hahaha, very funny lots! If anything at all, the Yorubas share more attributes with the Germans: education, efficiency, brilliant administration, high technology, manufacturing, etc while not making any noise about it! Germans are NOT traders like ibos! Germans are not perpetual war losers whose Ojukwu runs away to Abidjan after a loss! But guess what, the Yorubas are so assured and confident, they will never want to be Germany, only contemporaries, partners and co-competitors and also with France; only Germans can be Germans while Yorubas will only and always be Yorubas! He insecurity of the ibo man always puts him in the shadow of someone else, we Yorubas don't need to be in the shadow of anyone!

Also, you foolishly claim that Yorubas don't learn the language of others which is BS! You'd find that a much higher percentage of Germans speak English than the reverse! It takes nothing away from the progress of Germany! However, to day something is wrong with the English is completely stupiiiid! Yorubas in this instance are like the English, in another sense they are like the Germans, ibos have to learn Yoruba to survive and grow up, Yorubas have no NEED for such! An ibo man is most likely to NEED to come to Yoruba land to survive and feed his family but never a Yoruba man! We manufacture things, create services, etc which you will come to Yorubaland to buy or we will ship to you and the value chain that creates is more useful than learning ibo! Why will I leave where I am now to go to live in Syria, Afghanistan, etc? Why will any Yoruba man leave his land to go live in Iboland? Rather it is they who struggle to try a visa to go and live in UK, US, Canada, etc. Yorubaland is the closest thing to a developed, prosperous and organized society the ibo man will ever know and we the Yorubas eventually help them in their way through education, orientation, etc on their way to live in a foreign country! Every ibo man that made it, made it in Yoruba land! Ask Achebe or Ojukwu for the truth and they will admit it! Will ibos ever say thank you and be grateful??
PoliticsRe: State of origin OR State of residence OR Both : Which Is Better For Unity? by Sloan: 9:59pm On Jan 10, 2014
The state of residence BS is ALWAYS being pushed by mostly ibos, why? Because they think it would give them more room to claim rights in other people's lands - something that will NEVER happen! If you want state of residence, then go to a country that allows you to do so, don't think that your selfish desire will be accepted by others who take pride in their heritage! A proud and confident people will be glad to visit your land and enjoy everything available but he will not trade away his land and heritage even for 1 second, why are ibos more interested in the land of others? Will the land become more developed because state of residence rather than state of origin is in the statute books? Now that their is no legal support for state of residence, did anyone not notice ibos claiming Lagos is no man's land, they are 90% of Kano and 80% of Abuja and they developed the lands? But of course they know they can never tell the owners of such lands to their face because they will just be killed for nothing so they come online to spew their crap. Meanwhile, there is no other part of Nigeria who want to move to Iboland while leaving their own land! Except for people transferred there from work, no one wants to move to iboland because of the high tribalism in that place, which ibos use as a means to keep their land to themselves. Meanwhile they'd like to share the land of others who are more gracious and accepting.

There will never be state of residence in Nigeria! What we need is regional governments, any one who cannot develop their land in the present circumstance will not even if state of residence is used. Nigeria and America are different, one is made mostly of natives while others are immigrants. Until Nigeria becomes a country of immigrants, then their will be no such law.
PoliticsRe: Photo: THE EVILS POLICE Do---my Encounter! by Sloan: 9:42pm On Jan 10, 2014
Sirniyeh: This could be unbelieveable to a stranger in Nigeria but to virtually all Nigerians, including a day old baby, police officers have same identity.
Ask me what could this identity be! Here is my story:

I was driving down Queens Road in Lagos when I was flagged down by two gun-toting policemen. “We need a lift,” demanded one of them. “We are going up the road.” Could I have refused? What would have happened if I had refused? It might have become a case of “resisting arrest.” I asked them to get in. One sat in front with me: the other at the back. Immediately they got in, the man in front with me found it necessary to affirm his alienation from me. He said to me: “Oga, you people are enjoying O. You get AC in your car. We, we have to stay all day in the sun.”

Nairalanders, what is the way out?
SHUT THE HELLP-UP! YOU DESERVED IT AND YOU KNOW IT! A society, the law enforcement, is a reflection of the society and the government of the day, were you NOT on the list of fresh-airmons who want your retardeen government? Now, who will you complain to? Does it look to you that this government send you message, even if you had caught a bullet while in your own car and thinking you're offering a ride to police? People like us who tell Nigerians the objective, hard truth are the usual enemies but who is suffering now? Whose 18 K was takenhuh In a real society and a government that is in a hurry to right the anomalies in a system, this kind of story should be getting prime time attention. In fact, it should be getting attention a long time before things happen but with a don't give a damn president who pretends not to hear or notice high corruption like Odulah, Madueke and co., how much is your crappy 18K? In a country like the one Nigerians are dying to get visa, there's NO COP that will ever even ask you for a ride - NEVER! In fact, there's hardly any civilian that will ask someone he doesn't know personally for a ride! In fact, you will never see a police officer who is not on duty in a uniform, not to talk of asking a citizen for a ride! The last time I got a silly ticket, it was how much $ 160 or so which I could have contested in court but the hassle of driving downtown and the time wasted was not worth it and I could afford to pay and YES, I was genuinely guilty! The officer explained my offence (never mind I knew already) as I sat helplessly waiting for him to finish. You cannot or are expected to get out of the car, just wait until you get your papers and ticket and go and pay! That is a real country o, not the retarde.d country of the fresh air crew of idio.ts who voted for a president who doesn't give a damn! Whose biggest ambition is to do nothing and preserve the status quo. Pay whatever money they ask you because you deserve it and this is part of your fresh air punishment! wink wink grin grin
PoliticsRe: Suggest Ways JONATHAN Can Sack SANUSI Without Recourse To The Senate by Sloan: 9:24pm On Jan 10, 2014
manny4life: One legal way out of this is issuing an EO

Hey, that's why I said GEJ is a gentleman, if he were a radical politician, yet if I was him, I'll issue an executive order on the basis that the CBN falls under the federal jurisdiction and oversight, and thus, as the leader of the executive + the Commander-in-Chief of the nation, I am issuing the order based on conflicted national polices and malpractice.

There's no one who violates an Executive Order, and even Congress can't override it, however it's subject to Judicial review. The attempt by SLS to ridicule the president, and also, the fact that the letter to a president was leaked is subject to internal investigation. What better way to start an investigation when he's not in a federal bldg?

If he violates the order, he knows what time it is. I'll give SLS a call, telling him .. Look Mr. you have one week to leave the office pending an investigation, if on Monday morning you come to the CBN bldg, I will publicly humiliate you. If he dares come close to the bldg, have SSS pick him up immediately right there at the gate, in front of the press and in handcuffs, by the time he's done with the ordeal, and legal challenges for violating an executive order, then he would know the Office of the President isn't to be messed with.

If he so desires to challenge the order, let him go to court.
Hahaha...if ibos were really as smart as they falsely think, you'd think they wouldn't have lost their only war, catastrophically, in human history! If your political wisdom was so viable, you wouldn't be caught eating the balls of the ijaw because of their oil. GEJ knows that he doesn't control Nigeria in the actual sense, and this was the mistake ibos made in the first republic when they thought they could ride rough shod on others and they got served big time. I dare retardeen GEJ to do his worst because I know that he who laughs last ALWAYS laughs best! Let him arrest him (I don't care either way) but I know that someday, he will be on the receiving end, oh and the ibos who all think the same way of their tribesman will remain the biggest loser in Nigeria! Just wait and see.

PoliticsRe: Educational Qualifications: Yoruba Governors Vs Igbo Governors by Sloan: 9:26pm On Jan 08, 2014
capricon: Hey mr smartass good education does not equal good administration/money making going by your igr example okay.
Good education is a VERY GOOD sign of superior mental intelligence. That is why some people can score the required marks to get into university while others can't. That is why some people finish university with first class and > 4.00 2,1s where as others struggle to get 3rd class. In MOST cases, stronger academic achievement is an indication of superior mental capacity. Of course, a mentally superior person can have less than sterling academic achievement but that is usually due to other factors: distraction in school with relationships, cultism, un-seriousness, laziness, non-motivation, ill luck or missing important exams, etc. However, if a group of 5 ibo governors cannot be said to be above average academic achievement compared to the Yoruba governors, that means a real difference in intelligence. That is what the FACTS SAY, however, the emotions of the ibos or anyone on the failing side will find any other reason than accept the facts which is obvious!

PoliticsRe: Educational Qualifications: Yoruba Governors Vs Igbo Governors by Sloan: 6:21pm On Jan 08, 2014
The governors reflect the best of the ibo SE but it is clear that even their qualifications are grossly sub par! In the SW, most Yorubas would be ashamed to have these kind of qualifications, let alone publish it. Rather, they'd be doing everything to attain more knowledge and education and go on to build a successful careers in whatever they choose! Education for the most part speaks to the mental intelligence of a people, the dullest people usually have disdain for education, and the case of the ibos here is no different!

Young girls and females would be on their way righ now planning how to share from this using their laps then tommorrow ASUU would be blamed for sexual atrocities of students.
I am watching[/quote]You've got it spot on! This article is as useless and pointless as the people who voted for the retardeen GEJ government! LWKMD grin grin What is the reader supposed to do? Did the current government sneak in overnight or was it not with the support of certain people, some of whom are complaining now? Nigerians seem to have been hypnotized that the budget controls the government and not the government actually being in charge and controlling the budget, hence you see less than a 40% budget implementation with even billions more budgeted in the next year! Who do you blame? The budget who created the human beings or the human beings who created the budget?

Nigeria had a chance to challenge the status quo and vote a Buhari / Bakare ticket who are more accessible to most Nigerians and who have a level of high integrity to protect. These are the people you can ask direct questions at every forum and challenge them on why we cannot have a budget that works for the people! These are people who've had lots of chances to take more than legitimately belongs to them for years and keep quiet but they've simply refused. They've stayed pretty much on the same level as most Nigerians and not built N 1 B hotels in less than 3 years! Yet Nigerians do not want people like that but people who would rather spend N 14 M+ on (buying) animals when humans are suffering! What is the responsibility of a government to keep animals in a private zoo when all common sense would have made it to even donate any existing animals (if it inherits from the previous government) to universities and research centers in UI, OAU, Unilag, etc (schools that have zoos for more than 40 years) and with the structure already in place to house the animals and in fact donate the 14 M as an additional to feed all the animals where they can make some money for the government by charging people who visit the zoo a gate fee! In a well kept zoo that is properly financed in a big city like Ibadan or Unilag, if people are charged only N 200 per visit and they get 72,000 visits in one year, they will make N14 M and the cost of that visit at the time they're being showcased is only the staff salaries and other costs that are fixed regardless of whether people come or not. That is how a sensible government should think. By the way, 72 K people in a year between Unilag and UI is a huge underestimation as those two cities boast of at least 30 M people in between them only.

Just enjoy your fresh air and keep quiet stup.id people!

aaniagu: honestly APC looks to islamic. Most islamic fanatics are supporters of the party. I will only support the party if the filed a non muslim as it presidential candidate. God bless ndigbo world wide.
You have only one vote which you will give to the retardeen GEJ anyway, who while claiming to be Christian, is a phariseeic one and is a worse thief than the crucified one who Jesus had mercy on! I am sure that thief never fed himself with N 1 B worth of food in 1 year alone! What is MOST important for this election is that GEJ and PDP must never try to rig that election otherwise they will burn down in the market square and perhaps take their fellow thieves along with them. The ibo will vote for any government in power, it just so happens right now that the current one is a retardeen GEJ who happens to be christian. So by all means, let the bigoted ones called ibos give their vote to their jesus of otuekwe. Regardless of the effort of APC or any government, they should know that ibos always vote and do the bidding of the government of the day only. APC should work hard to earn the votes of the SW, NW, NC, NE and as much as they can get in the SS while negotiating as best as they could. The ibos are a lost cause and that is why they will become increasingly isolated in Nigeria. Whether is 2015 or 2019, someday, the retardeen will be done and where will the mantle of president fall again? Somewhere, anywhere but in Iboland! It is on that day and in that time that ibos will begin their suffering and will get no sympathy after insulting all other Nigerians for 4 - 8 years. They will cry marginalization with no one to hear them out. They will cry civil war 67 and no one will pay attention! They will only be good enough as hewers of wood and fetchers of water, AGIP as they've been since the days of Azilkiwe.

It's unbelievable that some Nigerians are just gullible suffer-heads! Or they've been paid (PPP) to continually pretend that they can't see a lie even it plucks out their brains! Is you IQ too low to think deeply or tribalism has destroyed your thinking capability?

- Without delving much into semantics, how can she mention the name of the school where she did a Bachelors but in the same breadth skip where she did a more "prestigious" masters degree? Except of course they are in the same school? Yesterday, I checked her face book page and the only school there was St. Paul which means she did not attend any other school for tertiary education.

- Why was her educational information on Wikipedia edited quickly today after it was posted that she claimed a Masters degree on that site and many others? Does that not immediately send the fraud signals going haywire?

- The question is does she really have a master's degree? Yes, she claimed in her many online pages so where did she get it? From all evidence we've seen so far, she only attended St. Paul, Virginia but the same school said the've never offered a graduate program so is there another school she attended and she forgot to mention?

- You see where this is going? LIES? More lies to cover up lies!
