Kanwulia: May many more be 'defective'!Kanwulia...cracking up NLanders since 1635! How you dey?? |
payless: PDP has been strapped with improvised explosive device (IED) and waiting to explode into the oblivion...........LMAO! Very funny! This is another opportunity to see if retardeen GEJ is brighter than the dullest bulb in the room! He never built the PDP or any party in his life and in only 3 years, the PDP is almost dead in his hands. Can he bring PDP back from the brink? Can he employ an kind of political sophistication to rescue the PDP horse he has been riding for free all these years? Is it not interesting that even if some people in Nigeria today decide to start another party *from the scratch* it will be bursting at the seams again and we know where builders of parties have always come from in Nigeria -- no need to talk! At least we know that the NCNC was originally the party of Herbert Macaulay, a bonafide Yoruba man! |
Distraction from corruption! Useless dumboe president! |
payless: I doubt this information given by Vanguard. Buhari hates Obasanjo like piece of sh1t. If the information is true, I won't be supporting APC.Payless, I know you quite well on this forum and times like these, you should take a step back before you make such a strong statement of commitment. You as political savvy and astute as you are know that politics is about interest hence the saying no permanent enemies in politics but permanent interests. I doubt you can speak of how much either of those individuals like or dislike each other more than they know of themselves! If you share a house with a man and your jointly owned-house is burning down, and you know you will never have another house what would you do? Let it burn down with all your children inside rather than you both face each other and admit their is a joint-problem and a joint solution could save the house! Remember, no man is perfect and there are several positive things and negative to say about both so I see no reason for you to make such strong statements which you cannot back as FACT. If they hate each other, what would they have when the entire country is ruined as it continues on this destructive path? OBJ and Buhari are surely not perfect but their governments are FAR better than this currently dumboe lame-duck government! If the country burns down, you lose too! Oh, you are in NY or London or some "better" country, how about your parents, uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces who will pay and continue to pay the price of this useless government? No or little jobs means when you earn you salary, a certain percentage will go to Nigeria (not even for capital investment) but things you know should be basic for even any student to afford where you are! Well, so you can send them a few thousand dollars a year but if BH strikes near home (God forbid) and all of a sudden a dear ones life hangs in the balance only for corrective surgery for only 50,000 dollars cold cash, can you pay for that? Oh you can but now there's no hospital in Nigeria that can handle it and you need visa to the US or any other country, by the time you've spent 40,000, you finally it is too late and the person could not be saved (God forbid). Now I ask, is the pride of not agreeing together of people like OBJ and Buhari (if they can agree on their own accord to disagree) more important to the life of a lost loved one? Now multiply that by 170 M people who also have loved ones, it it worth it still? By all means, democracy is a game of numbers, negotiation, agreement, etc and anyone who does not know that will be going nowhere fast! What is important is to hone down on shared and common interests, give and take where possible! OBJ will not be making an extra naira from this kind of negotiation (not that it stops his current investments from making millions of naira at the end of today) and neither will Buhari be asking for an extra dime from him. Please, look at this objectively! OBJ did a lot for Nigeria but it is sad that he could have done much better AND saved us this current hassle by either grooming really competent people as successors (this is reality of party politics) and if he wanted to stay neutral, let the whole world know and allow the BEST MAN emerge without any manipulations. His "do or die" politics is the cause of this problem and this is why a lot of people are so angry with him. |
LocalChamp: Osun: Giant strides continueon December 18, 2013Governor Aregbesola, we have heard you BUT we WANT MORE! Please! More and more of the better, please! Get on with it, like you've been doing nothing ever since! Keep it going, not stopping, not waiting, not pausing! While at it, think very well of a leader who hopefully is already being groomed and shares even a greater passion, who will be the crowning glory of your work! Learn from good leaders who ruined their legacies with terrible successors - I don't need to mention any names now! Get on with it, tell Lagos the State of Osun is coming to take off its high pedestal and it need to get it going even better, like never before! Let Lagos give notice to the State of NY and CA that we are coming to knock them off their high horses! Tell Ogun, you think you are doing great, well Lagos will make you look like the stone age so you got to bring you A+ game! Oh tell my people in Oyo and Ajimobi, well all your good IGR numbers are good and I clapped for you for 1 minute but now you gotta step up that game! Tell it to Lagos and Ogun your singular objective is to make them your contemporaries at the top (in every way) alone! No single square cm of Yoruba land will be found folding its arms and crying to any government or anyone for that matter! Wake Ekiti and Ondo State up, we need more! Being a state created last night will not cut it as an excuse and Ondo being an oil-producing state will not make it acceptable or a sufficient credential for greatness! We NEED everyone at the TOP! |
Useless maps showing lebensraum (like Hitler) when you can not even get an inch of land from the Ikweres or Anioma showing longthroat at all the other lands in Africa? 100 things about a still-born biafra, who cares, and you could not even list 5 without resorting to lies! Even living countries, states and peoples give things like this a rest because they don't need to write a lying article or thread about it: YOU KNOW! You just know if you are not dead, because it is always there! The only way biafra will ever have a chance to be an entity again is for ibos to support the calls for regionalism and follow that step up with the emergence of sovereign countries. Otherwise, Nigeria killed and buried biafra in 1970 and Philip Effiong surrendered the entire iboland as Nigeria. Ojukwu never even mentioned biafra when he returned from his exile run, I guess he came back with wisdom he never had as a 33 year old - something the OP is still missing today! |
superstar1: Nice one.Maybe they are, maybe not but is it not better to let them decide that? I want a Yoruba region or country only with our closest brothers and cousins and we can all maintain the same focus - WE WILL BE GREATER TOGETHER! One thing that I am sure will happen is that the economy of the West will be so good (if managed well with leaders in the mould of a Chief Obafemi Awolowo) that people from other lands will seek to immigrate or reside there! This is good but we will decide who can get in and who has to leave. If Nupes share any borders with Yorubaland and fall into the category of lands in which the people may go north, south, west or east, then if they vote to be in Yoruba land, that is fine subject to our acceptance. We surely don't want any peoples who cannot maintain a single focus on development, lifting up of the national economy and motherland and will not do everything to get us ahead as a region or country should not join (PLEASE). We don't want another Nigeria! As human beings we all want pretty much the same things: enough food, shelter, clothing, freedom, peace, a good life, security for us and our children, etc. If there's any peoples who don't have these values but retrogression, unnecessary fights, etc then they can stay away! |
Orlando Owoh: I'm happy for this for the fact that I'm Yoritsekiri - born to an Itsekiri father and a Yoruba mother. You're home bro - ALWAYS HOME! ![]() |
50K is not a lot of money at all! Did you compute how much you spend to make the 50K? If you add transportation, lunch break and other costs, how much does that come to in a month? Lets say it comes out to around 30K meaning your net profit is 20K, then you can determine how much your cash flow can support per month without that job. If lets say you have enough savings or support that can guarantee you 20 or 30 K living expenses for 12 months (or until farm is yielded some profit), then objectively you can stick with farming while adding to it aspects that may generate quicker returns. For example, palm trees are good but I am sure they take a few years to be ready for harvest. Just look for crops that can be grown within a year, as an educated man, accountant and farmer, look into preservation techniques! Also look into getting customers you can supply to in bulk. For example, you did not mention carrots but I have been wondering what it takes for farms to grow and supply fresh vegetables for salads and things in Nigeria? Not just efo and ewedu but other vegetables! A farm, any farm, that can grow and supply these things quite fresh can make quite a lot of money just chopping them up, packaging them and adding the salad cream! A small box of those sell anywhere from $ 5 - $ 7 here and can vary depending on the weight. I that is around N 750 - N 1050 and this something just a few pounds that can be eaten in a meal o! You can put all kinds of marketing around it like fresh vegetable salads give better nutrition, improved weight loss, can make stir fries, etc. If you sold even just 100 per day, that is a lot of money! I actually checked a brand just now and it is $15.41 per kg. A typical serving is 0.326kg and sells for $5.02. That is N2311.5 per kg @ $1 = N150. If you sold /supplied 100 per day, that is N231,150 per day and assuming it costs up to 75% of that to produce it all, you'd be making at least 25K per day on just only a single product! Anyways, do your calculations and see what you like to do! |
vizboy: I thought the said woman is in UsSee a sensible man asking questions! I wonder where your types hide in Nigeria! Yes, she is in the US and could not have been in Rainbow in Nigeria. Ask, what phone number did they call? How did they receive the letter in the first place? If you look at the copies online, you will see it was scanned from a photocopy, just look at the top left edge where it was stapled and you will see the dark spots. The letter was not signed either in her original, long hand signature. You mean anyone educated rights such an important and controversial letter of 11 pages, say it took her 2 hours to do it all and forgot to sign in less than 5 seconds? If it was sent by email, Vanguard better be ready to show the original email trace in which the MX records will show it came from a computer in Massachusetts where she lives. If she sent it by DHL, they better be ready to present the evidence! |
Sincere 9gerian: Your advice makes sense. However, when its a report (not an article) I suppose I can take the part of it and create a thread based on it. Also when its an interview, I dont see anything wrong in taking parts of the interview and creating threads on it.You are ABSOLUTELY WRONG! Did you attend school at all fake doctor from Enugu? It is already well established in every university worth its salt in the world that when you quote a source, (NOT QUOTE), you also give a reference where it can be individually verified. You cannot paraphrase a source to say what it did not and you cannot change the meaning of the information in anyway. That is what you've done! You can not for example change the TITLE (AT ALL)! Yes, you can summarize a 3 page article in 1 paragraph but you cannot modify the message to suit another means, and then slap on a title that is different from the original title. In case you are too dumb to know, the title is in fact the meat of the issue original writer wanted to pass across and as soon as you change that (to suit you evil machinations), you become guilty of plagiarism, intellectual dishonesty and lose every reputation in the academic community! Of course, every NL knows that you have ZERO reputation on this forum and the day the retardumbo finishes his tenure, is removed, killed, captured or taken away from power (whatever happens to him is not my concern), your life is finished! |
This is MISLEADING, MODERATORS, change the heading to match the actual title not this garbage! It is also interesting that all of a sudden, SR has become the believable and choice of source for news but when they publish any other thing about the PDP and this retardumbo GEJ of a president, they are lying? Such double standards by clueless Nigerians! |
It has been done in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka over a decade ago.
What is with the whining about everything that happens in the South West? Where did Nsukka even come into this thread except your usual inferiority complex? Well, at least you are being served another notice now that when Nigeria does breakup, you will have no chance to even access our healthcare centers like UCH, OAUTH, LUTH, etc and you can go to your Nsukkua. Some people will be lining up to get visa for medical treatment at the borders at Ore and we might actually have to put a medical outpost there where we can let you people get tertiary medical care without allowing you into our inner country! We will do some surgeries by telemedicine using high resolution video cameras with some of our numerous Yoruba medical doctors and you will have to be on your best manners after paying for the work! ![]() |
skyp: For these same people to be crossing to APC I tell you sincerely, there is absolute no hope for our dear nation. I would have thought APC will give us better choice of candidate in 2015If the party did not grow since inception, it is your type that will still be leaking at your basket mouth pointing out how they've not grown. Now that a stronger party that might give Nigeria a semblance of at least a 2-party democracy is emerging, you cry again that there is no hope! If in 14 years, there was no hope with PDP, do yo expect Nigeria to wait for 140 years? Some of you are born without brains or the abuse of Nigeria since you were born has robbed you of every ability to think like rational human beings. |
After using them for only PLEA bargains in which the corrupt keep 99.99% of their loot, they've now been killed off! Only if you lots had arrested your dumbo nemesis GEJ, you'd not be crying for salary this December! I am sure your scape goats will pay-up anyway! ![]() |
LMAO @ retardumbo GEJ PDP! ![]() |
Sincere 9gerian: There is no rule that says I must maintain the same headline as the national daily. Provided the headline in question tallies with the content of the report, I dont think it should worry you. I am neither under obligation to use the same headline as the national daily nor copy and paste the entire report. After all the people who create these headlines for the national dailies are human beings like you and I.In that case, create your own original news story and post it up on your website or blog, not plagiarize another man's work like a thief and dishonest soul that you actually are! |
OAM4J: .Good one OAM4J! This is the kind of fight we the general people of NL do all day against misinformation and it is quite refreshing to see mods step in and do the right thing. I notice that all the rebuttal threads are being closed and being shoehorned into a single one but threads about the original letter are being allowed to have multiple threads. Let us make what is good for the goose, good for the gander by treating both the same: all into a single thread! Good one again and may you mods keep looking out for lies which we cannot correct ourselves (e.g. a change of a topic heading like the insincere9gerian did here). |
If she is not, she should sue the Vanguard and make them prove that she wrote it. Her handwritten signature, delivery method if by email can be checked by MX records, if by hand it would have been couriered. Did they see her or did she come to their office? People would have seen her and their should be some CCTV cameras that captured her video while in their office. Why did only Vanguard publish it, who is in Vanguard that has either strong ties to Iyabo, OBJ or the GEJ government? Whose interest does the letter protect? Who has anything to gain from this letter? These are pointers to how to fish out those behind the letter. BTW, the letter was scanned from a photocopy (look at the dark parts where the staple held the pages together). If it is now in PDF, it must have been converted after the scan. Why doesn't such a letter have her original, handwritten signature? |
DerideGull: Slow,Senile old dede1 is out of job and hanging on for dear life, now all you do is troll any posts of the people who put your biafra dream baby into the hole, blew it up and buried it! LMAO! ![]() |
cocoduck: Iyabo wrote that letter. she did write that letter. even if she later denies writing the letter you should understand that the letter is too articulate too be fudged by an outsider. And for those who say yoruba people do not insult their parents, I've seen countless yorubas insulting their parents. You cannot tell me Iyabo is more yoruba than they are. BTW obasanjo is the man that benefited highest from this one Nigeria project. Now he thinks that anyone will allow him to impose that humongous crook of a lamido on us, God forbid that will never happen, if he thinks that Nigeria belongs to him, then he is on a long thing.Maybe she did, maybe she did not, the next few days or weeks will give Nigerians more information. If Iyabo did not write the letter, she is well within limits to commence legal action which she will win in so much as the Vanguard cannot provide any verifiable evidence that she wrote the letter. I would think her handwritten signature forensically verified would be a good start. Did they take a picture of her in their studios? Did she email it because she is not in Nigeria? If yes, the original path of the email can be traced from the MX records. If she couriered it, the courier company would be made to show where she mailed it, have a video recording of her coming into their offices since most offices here generally have some form of CCTV cameras. If Guardian cannot prove it, they are on the hook to retract the letter and pay damages which should to N 999 Billion! |
Dewze: An educated and exposed person such as Iyabo would have sent a letter of rebutal to Vanguard first and then would have gone to a 'tv' station to air the truth. Is your brain on vacation or completely missing? How can you expect someone doing her job and living her life in Massachusetts to at the same time be in the TV or Radio stations to rebut anything? Or you think she's jobless like you or the company she works for has been waiting for today to allow her to disappear to Nigeria within 6 hours because Guardian published a letter in her name? Nigerians are becoming more stup.id or being blinded more and more by tribalism. I am not satisfied by the way OBJ ran his government and could have done more, and better at least in his succession plan. So, I am not an OBJ supporter, yet I am a Yoruba man! However, OBJ raised the same issues a lot of Nigerians have been crying about the only difference is these so called Nigerians have no voice and not even an ant would have paid attention to the letter if it was written exactly by them. That said, Iyabo's letter was a scanned copy of a photocopy, look at the darkened areas at the top left where the staple prevented a proper scan. It was not a PDF, it might have been converted afterwards. However, the onus of ensuring it was not a forgery was the responsibility of Guardian and her signature would be a good evidence in order for them to escape culpability but the letter is not even signed! What Iyabo should do is to institute legal action immediately on Guardian newspapers and make them prove that she wrote or sent them the letter. If an impostor got the better of Guardian, it is none of her business or problems: they must pay whatever penalty that arises out of this situation they created. |
Is it not funny that people are leaving comments like "there is no difference in APC and PDP", "old wine in new bottle", etc. Since that is the case, you have no reason to worry actually or even spill such self-consolatory verbiage! Yes, are the same thing fine! However, we know before the decamping, ACN states bested almost all PDP states - FACT! Today after the merger of parties into APC, all APC are still doing better than most PDP states! - FACT! PDP has more than 14 years to make changes and show the way forward, so now they've gotten better competition! - FACT If you are Nigerian and care about Nigeria as a country, this is good news because when their is competition of political parties, you can be sure they will work hard to earn your votes by implementing policies that you care about as a people! |
Why are some PEOPLE BORN more STOOPID than a goat? Do you expect the audit firm to do anything against the government that paid them for it, even with specific instructions on what the verdict must be? And why will they not do exactly that? EFCC is dead! The Police cannot even get close to them! The retardeen GEJ in charge of all law enforcement agencies is the one to be protected and he is gunning for another 4 years, not like his tenure is over next year! He has a good example on what will happen to them when they do his bidding: Stella Oduah, NOTHING will happen! So, now are you people big phools or is this not the same government that has lied on virtually everything you suddenly make to be a truthful government whose words you can stake your life for? |
And here are the retardeen ass lickers who keep shouting fresh air! Renovating an existing airport to "international" standard, building a few roads and stealing billions of dollars, messing up the fight on terrorism and giving appointments to some Ibos is enough in the retardeen's opinion! One day when your unemployment rate reaches 100% maybe you people will think! |
Why is one congratulating Abia people on this windfall?? |
van bonattel: The scammers must be among the 22 Western Nigerians caught last week.Except Aba and Owerri are now part of Yoruba land too! This is nothing but ibo-on-ibo crime! The people are greedy and the OP is greedy too, otherwise you would have thought for a minute before rushing out to cash on the scam opportunity! Anywhere you people here money, whether in hundreds, thousands or millions, every human common sense vanishes from your brain immediately! ![]() |
nice one! ![]() |
I am surprised that Ibos and ball lickers of GEJ have not attacked FFK or he is now your darling? People with no principles! |
