Here are screenshots. He just created a topic, a single topic which you can see what he is talking about?? Now that only topic has been shut down by the moderator, is this how NL should advertise itself?? He claims he has been on NL since 2007, yet this ID was made yesterday? Seun, what will you do or you don't care about quality? Yes, I know NL does not have any QA department but is that an excuse for this brand to go down??

Seun and all NL can see clearly that some people are already antagonizing a proposal to improve the quality of NL. What are they afraid of? The poster "bloodkilledhisfather" is an example, do you see his comments? Oh BTW, 99% of the people who've opposed this idea are ibos, check and come back and tell me I am not saying the truth. For some reason, NL is not seeing that having a low quality forum is in the interest of these ilk of people who are constantly looking for a way to upstage his business, even some mods have tried it in the past but simpleton owner just walks on by as if he does not notice it. I insist every new ID must wait, accumulate points in every section of NL over a period not less than 3 - 6 months before being able to make posts! If you have not shown yourself as a responsible member of the NL community, then you have nothing to offer the community. Seun, you should evolve NL to improve its quality! You may pretend as though you don't notice: a new user makes an ID today and immediately goes to politics section, starts attacking users who have been on NL for ages, starts defending the government of the day PDP to the point of provocation, start defending every useless and annoying policy of the government, etc obviously such ID is a paid hack. I know you may care less because it is all about traffic and money for your business but the quality of your creation is nosediving - the same way Google overtook Yahoo while it kept looking for more quantity while sacrificing quality! I say implement a system where a new ID has to accumulate points say 20 points over the course of months before being able to create new topics or comment on certain posts! This way, only serious people will stay on NL and will create the type of quality content that drew people to NL in 2005 - 2007 when it started. 6 Likes |

Can these people be trusted, with even any money that belongs to 170 M+ Nigerians and not try to corner everything for their minority population of 10 - 12 M? Was Germany given a cash repayment or is that example even applicable to Biafra? Or this is about the usual greed for money? Can the economy of their land not provide N2.4 Tr or they figure they must be able to take the money from the oil fields of the Niger Delta and the prosperous lands of the SW and the agricultural lands of the north? It is unprecedented in Nigeria or Africa that a government or president hires a foreign US company to launder its image! Yes, Yaradua tried a phony "good country, good people" campaign led by a certain Dora Akunyili but that pales into insignificance compared to what is happening today! There were several hired posters on NL as Yaradua tried everything to cling to power, even Iboris defenders were there to defend his connection with Yaradua and the humongous corruption cases that hung on his neck in the UK. Well, all that is now child's play compared to what is happening on NL. I tell you for a fact that Nigerians are now royally screwed, except they can save themselves, their lot is already bought, sealed and delivered! In the politics section, see how many new IDs are created everyday? As soon as the IDs are created, they jump right into the politics section and start hacking away at the little goodwill that exists among Nigerians, creating hatred, division, sectionalism, and setting up Nigeria for an unprecedented violence in the future! Whether it is a victorciza, idumuose, firefire, onlytruth, gratieo, blockus, simply_me, etc; or recently stolen IDs which Seun closes a blind eye to as though he does not know about it! If NL users can see stolen IDs, the police of NL cannot see it; just like while Nigerians can see corruption and official thievery but the NPF and GEJ cannot see it! I don't live in Nigeria so any policy of either government does not affect me in any direct way and when it does, it is the lamentations of the people back home. The beauty of democracy is alternatives, options, a different approach, strategy, many opinions, picking the best out of many alternatives, etc and the ordinary people having a say in everything that affects their lives. Obviously, military governments are not democratic and one person or a few set the agenda and plan for the entire country of 170 M+. Enter Nigeria's brand of one-party state democracy controlled by a corrupt party PDP with an inept and clueless leader GEJ as president! How is this different from a military coup and a military government? I read online as Nigerians rejoice at their one party state, of course most of them are bought with rice and money, the most unprecedented case of corruption in world history - where a government buys a few people with some bags of rice and some change, have them create multiple monikers, then buy the platform (Nairaland) from a willing tool (Seun), who makes available to them a few moderators, who also get some crumbs - and here is the destiny of a 170 M+ effectively under control! This government is only corrupt but an active criminal, who actually encourages everyone to be corrupt, kill the EFCC, ICPC, Police and the Army so that thieves and terrorists can have a field say, of course buy the electoral commission so announce a pre-ordained result and charge them to deny voter's cards to the people while suppressing them with the Army and Police. How long can Jona last? Will he get away with worse than Abacha? Unfortunately, Nigeria's foremost fighters who have led the charge are now old and some are now dead: e.g. Fela, Gani, Tai, etc; and our eminent Professor Soyinka has done more than some entire tribes in Nigeria and he deserves his rest! I will have no pity on the fate that descends on Seun and his NL as he has sold out, and the millions of Nigerians who are now so hungry, a 2 lbs bag of rice is enough for them to sell out their generations!
