I did not pay any money or sent anything thru dhl, the web form is like a case with ircc i used the form to attached the imm008.
its online.

As for bed and co have been buying new ones: bed , sofa and tv ..and it hurts when i convert it to Naira loooooool but then thank God am working.

From when I submitted to when i got pick up mail was like over 3 weeks , i submitted the same day i got passport request ..lool that why i missed out the im008 form or at least u write a letter of explanation saying your family composition has not changed.

So after two weeks no show used the web from to submit again. Then a week later status changed to approved then the rest is history

Thanks but I really don't understand what you mean by the bolded. So you filled the form online and submitted? Or you printed, hand-filled, scanned and sent througu CSE? Can you please send a link to the web form?

hello friends... please I'm anxiously waiting for your advice... I have less than 11 days to submit my passports. I take God beg una.. I just don't want to take a decision I'll regret...

I submitted without the form. Asked around and was told you only need it if your family composition has changed.

My seniors, I know you are more experienced. Please I submitted a black and white photocopy of my nigerian marriage certificate due to the size during my application. Would this pose any problem? Biko so I dont have high BP

Not to scare you, but it could. It depends on the officer reviewing your application. Someone has been rejected cos of it.

Please, raise CSE and upload the colored scan of the original. You will be fine.

Congratulations! Please was your file sent to London, Accra or Ottawa for PPR?

PPR was issued by Ottawa but was directed to send the passport to Accra.

Vcole, congrats on your landing. I can imagine how hectic it is settling in. God's blessings and safe delivery.

Maternal, which city in Alberta would you advise someone in healthcare to move to? One that has job opportunities, affordable cost of living, good to raise a young family and considerably big with a sizeable population. I heard St Albert is good but I'm not sure how the job situation is.

Salford, good job! Keep them coming.

I don't know what makes you so dumb but it really works.

If a smart a$$ like you can claim to have been duped by an unknown "friend" but need help just so you don't turn to prostitution, then i'd rather be dumb.

Get on the grind girl! No one's gonna part with their hard earned money for your sob stories.

Why didn't you tell someone about this before paying? But how can you claim to empty your account na, who does that, I hope you are not trying to play smart here, it seems you want people to start contributing money for you that's why you added the prostitution there abi, everyone should be careful, this person might be a scammer

I agree. She's the scammer.

You know public health is like that tree with too many branches. I didn't look for a job in infectious disease. I got another job in another branch of public health which I found to be quite interesting. Then that Ebola outbreak started, and the thirst for infectious disease fell on me all over again but I use water quench am grin

Now that thirst has come back and I am tired of quenching it with water. cheesy. Truth is most of the public health jobs I have seen, though public health degree is desirable, anyone who has had any experience in an acute clinical setting is encouraged to apply hence my post. So if I want to apply now for such jobs, my acute care experience will suffice. The masters is just an added advantage

I am looking at a Phd sometime in the near future and my target is the darn Ebola angry that annoying disease that killed so many because there wasn't enough epidemiological data gathered from the first outbreak in the 70s to help fight the outbreak that started in 2014. What is Ebola really and what is its connection with the bat family?

Bia slowlybtsurely comot hiaaa, you got mine infectious disease juices flowing cool

@all
Trust me, there will be time for studying. Get the work experience first. Add them years to your profile....and then study later.

Did I mention I like you already?? cheesy

True. Public health has so many branches. But I really do like Infectious diseases. I like the challenges it poses and the various opportunities that come with it. I plan to do some volunteering work while undergoing the 6 month course. This way, I can get my foot in the door with some experience, albeit short.

MSc na later things. After i must have garnered some years of relevant experience. Something along the lines of Global health and infectious diseases.

I have a dream. . . (In Oga Luther's voice)

No PhD for me. I don old. angry

Nna, checki godu your PM. Rapu that story of forgetting PW. Oma'n worku this time around. tongue

Thanks for all the information shared so far. God bless all contributors here. I am a canny hopeful too but yet to decide on province. However, I would like to add that contribution should also include accommodation cost - all types available in most cities. This will help in planning/decision as this is going to be the most expensive household spend on monthly basis. it will also help in planning for jobs when all factors are being considered prior to acceptance.

Seniors, please help ooo.

Salford, where those pics naw?

Wow! You guys are putting the fear of God in me with this high school fees. Preschool pays about a 100k standard? Biko isn't that the class before they start school? Whew!

I wanted two kids before...now that's sounding like a crowd!

Well done folks. May God take care of our children.

You will be very lucky to get that in Lagos or Abuja. Most sophisticated ones start from #200k.

I found a very good and affordable school (unfortunately ends at nursery) for my son. He comes home everyday and he's learnt something new. School name is Joy Care Academy. It is located at Abraham Adesanya estate. Parents living around that area and looking for schools for their 1-4 year old children should check them out. Not sophisticated but does the job.Paid #100k per term.
