Agriculture › Re: How My Pregnant Goat Surprised Me(pictures) by Slurity(m): 6:10pm On Mar 12, 2022 |
Abujaexpress: I was really baffled by what my heavily pregnant goat did yesterday.
Actually, we have been keeping the goat and she put to bed early last year, a he goat or kid which has grown since them. We use to keep and confine both of them indoors untill the goat and it's kid started showing the crave to step out and hustle to feed and play/mingle with thier likes. We started letting them out in the morning and by evening time, both will come back home and even if they meet the gate locked, they will be using thier limbs and heads to scratch on the gate as notice to us, until the gate is opened for them.
But gradually, they will go out and not come back home, untill after maybe several days, before you will see them. From days of remaining outside, it turned to weeks, while we were always keeping close watch on their whereabouts. Infact, the day I went out searching for them, immediately the she goat sighted me, she ran to me and followed me home while the kid later came back home to join the mother.
What actually shocked me yesterday was that, for over three weeks, the goats have been away from the house, but surprisingly on Wednesday morning, the pregnant goat came home, this time around in the morning, scratching her head and limbs seriously for the gate to be opened for her. Since it is unusual seeing the goat in the morning and because we were going out for work, my wife wanted to send it back to the fields, but the goat refused to go, instead it entered the compound.
We left for work and coming back home in the evening, lo and behold, the goat had given birth to two bouncing kids, hale and healthy. This really baffled me that a goat could know that she was in labour and she had the sense to come back to the house to give birth!!!
Honestly, when I got home, I have to clap for the goat. She gave me reasons to believe that goats, if properly cared for and tendered, can really act reasonably like human.
N.B. I will upload the picture of the goat and the kids later, when I get back home. The lactose level in all animals milk that is responsible for intelligent is second highest in goat next to human milk. This means after human being, goat is number two, next is cow, then pig the dog. But when it come to protein level, dog is the highest in backwards order. |

yongLord: Don't know if this is the right thread but I hope it gets to the right audience. Pardon my English. I'll try to make it brief
A very close friend just got an apartment and moved in late December, the house was gotten through the sister (to the owner) who monitored the construction of the house. The house hasn't been registered with the electricity company and water isn't running as at the time he paid (190k + 40k (commission &agreement)) the water.
On Saturday, he said the owner came and the wife attended to them outside as they were discussing some other things about the house while he was praying inside. Before she left she even played with his children and gave them #200 also took their picture.
Fast forward to Monday, he got a call from the husband to the sister saying all sought of abusive words to him claiming the owner of the house wasn't attended to properly, they were supposed to let her in even without the consent of the husband since she's the owner of the house, therefore they should move out at month end. The wife called the owner of the house and she said the same thing then the another of their brother called again saying the same thing. They claimed that their remaining change will be refunded.
The question now is, should he stand on collecting all of the money or the balance as they said? Either they refund all the money including agent fee or they let you complete the remaining months. It's as simple as that, anything less is a cheating |

Foreign Affairs › Re: "Are We Your Slaves?" Imran Khan Slams West's Demands To Condemn Russia by Slurity(m): 7:12am On Mar 07, 2022 |
pansophist: I like the Chinese method better. They won't take sides like the west does, or pressure others to do the same. They won't sell weapons to either parties to keep murdering each other, they won't twist the narrative and see conflicts as a playground to advance political aims. They won't start sanctioning, or cut off ties with the country they dislike.
Instead they call both countries to the round table, mediate between them and diplomatically reach an agreement for ceasefire. No country should be forced and punished if they didn't take sides. That should be the ideal. Nigeria has immediately took sides against Russia, a very bad move. We lack spine and just want to please the western master. This is what slaves do, not a truly independent country. Beautiful writeup that lack empathy and good judgement sense. Whoever did not take side has already take side with the oppressors. It is as simple as that. You can never be on the fence in all level of decision making both spiritually and physically. Nigeria make the right decision to oppose Russia decision to invade another country. This country you are supporting here are just haters of peace. |

gozmok1: lol Tinubu might not even win SW sef talk more of other regions. most Yorubas are highly educated and they will never allow a criminal drug baron lord over them. check your stat has Tinubu comfortably won any elections in lagos without use of thugs to intimidate voters and oppositions? even Osun state his supposed home town, he was nearly disgraced by ordinary dancing senator if not for remote rigging from Abuja. Tinubu operates a thug infested political structure. check out most of his urchins, they're mainly thugs and cr1minals. Tinubu no get say for South West politics sef Makinde dealt with him in Oyo Aketi in ondo Fayemi currently dealing with him in Ekiti I don't know about Ogun state.
Tinubu is an over hyped cr1minal. lol I doubt Apc will risk their ticket with him. You really don't understand politics, it is true that Tinubu may not get the APC ticket but the only reason that could make that happen is if Tinubu die or become incapacitated before the primary, anything aside from the listed, Tinubu will not only get the ticket, he will win the general election. Forget the noise, Osinbajo is not contesting against Jagaban. |
