Some don't see any reason why a party that could not fix Onitsha-Enugu or Lagos-Ibadan-Oyo-Ilorin roads for 16 years should come back while others don't want a president who appoints more northerners than southerners. For the records, I stated this before the former CJN was put to rest.

The judiciary is really messed up. Cases are delayed for years and declarations are manipulated due to bribery.

Judges are no longer sincere in their declarations. A lot is going wrong. And to think these people are the final hope of the people is a big tragedy.

What our President Buhari is asking for is not difficult.

Come up with your assets declaration. What and what do you have before assuming office and how much do you have now?

That's not difficult if you mean well for Nigeria and Nigerians as a whole.

You can't be a judge and have N400m in your account, you can't be a judge and have N1b in your account. What type of job are you doing? What kind of judgement are you passing? Is there any other job you do apart from being a judge?


These calls for concern and the President anti corruption campaign is transparent enough to see his intention yet the judges that should know better are the ones suppressing the effect.

Shame on bad judges. You can't use your power to kill the anti corruption campaign.

You can know the law but you're not above the law.

politics is a game, in fact, a "rough" game that must be played within the law. I don't know if there is sinister motive behind Onnoghen's suspension but whether there is or not, the Buhari camp with the help of Onnoghen himself has played within the law.
1. the law that vested right on Buhari to appoint CJN also vested on him the right to suspend the same person and also the right to appoint another person to act in his capacity. go and read Nigerian Law interpretation act.
2. the suspended CJN by his position is not expected to be found wanting or claiming ignorant of certain portion of Nigerian law or declared himself not sound in mind(Forgetfullnes)
3. Onnoghen has a written acknowledgement, admitting that he is rightfully accused but sighted forgetfulness which is not recognize by law as excuse.
4. Before the politicians get you into shouting what you don't understand, Onnoghen has only been suspended not sacked
5. it is illegal for the Chief Justice of Nigeria to retain his position while a criminal case to which he has admitted to be guilty is being investigated.

Now let's look outside the law
1. Assuming that Onnoghen is from Kaduna, Katsina or even Kogi and a case like this comes up of which he admit but Buhari decides to retain him, will Nigerians from the east in particular have support and praise Buhari?
2. before you criticize Buhari, remember the Kemi Adeosun's case. ignorant was not taken as excuse then why now.
