Most Universities in Estonia are serious Universities. If you plagiarize your motivation letter, you are not likely to be admitted.

Hi everyone. I am new here. I am applying to a school that needs PTE (Academic) score of minimum 59 for admission. How easy is it to get this score? And does it mean overall score should not be less than 59 or no section should be less than 59? I would be glad to get a reply.

Thanks for the heads up with PhD admission in Estonia. University of Tartu's website is currently down. Are you also applying? Please what do you know about PhD proposal for Tartu, can one be admitted without submitting a research proposal?

The best way to apply for a PhD in that Faculty is to contact a potential supervisor many months before the next application round. Then you both can propose a topic which goes to the general competition for funding. If accepted, you become the primary candidate for that position. I am not exactly sure how it works in other faculties. But trust if you find a supervisor in time, your chances will be higher.

Research proposal (written by you and/or your supervisor is a prerequisite.

It is the photocopy you will stamp and send to them... Nobody stamps original waec certificate.. We all sent the photocopy

They will have to sign at the back of your original certificates when you authenticate them at Min. of Foreign Affairs. The computer centers around the office can help you remove a part of it big enough to contain a signature.

Apply for scholarships. There are some you can apply for before enrollment. Check your university website under scholarship section for more info.

My advice is: be confident, try to connect with the interviewer, be in control...if possible you can ask questions.
Wish you success.

*Let the interviewer be in control*

Bros, pls do you have any idea about the Topics or when they will be released. It's already day 4 since application began but no Topic yet.

Tallinn Univ of Tech. always have this problem. They do not seem to be ready in the first weeks of the application round. Same thing happened last year. But be rest assured the topics will be out well in time, before the deadline.

Hi everyone, I am presently applying to Tallinn University of Technology, I paid the application fee of 100 Euro since a week ago but up till now, it has not reflected on my application. Any suggestion on how to go about that? I already sent about 5 mails with the receipt of the payment to study@ttu.ee. Thanks as I await your responses.

5 e-mails in one week is too much. It is more like spam.

While I agree that obtaining visa should be the main aim, expenses should also be considered. India is farther to Estonia than Nigeria but the flight ticket is about 200k difference.

In January, 2017 I payed 183k from Nigeria to India. And 120k from India to Estonia.

Having to return to Nigeria after getting your Estonian visa should not be seen as so much of a problem. Although it does add to the cost, but some of those countries you will get your visa from are farther away from Estonia than Nigeria. The difference in cost may not be more than 150-200k. You should be more concerned about successfully obtaining your visa.
My advice: Do not neglect a route that would give you visa because the route requires you to return to Nigeria first.

No buy swiss care, its just a waste of money. There are other ones u can buy. A friend bought and got sick here, she was billed for hospital and was told, it wasn't accepted, it will require long processing to get her money back after filing

Swisscare refunds your medical bill to you. So you need to pay the bill first then apply for refund. Refund can take more than 3 months.

Abeg experienced folks....how does this waitlist work?

I just got waitlisted for an MSc in Healthcare Technology in TTU.....Is there any possibility of getting the tuition waiver?

If a dept wants to admit 40 students, they draw up a ranking of the best 40 students. And these are admitted. But for some reasons not all the 40 students admitted will eventually resume their studies. So the school can decide to take another 10 best students (after the 40 overall best students) and put them in the waiting list. These students will only be admitted on the condition that some among the 40 did not accept the admission. So if you are say No. 1 in the waiting list, it means if a student drops out of the 40, you will be the first to be invited to fill up the space. But if you are No. 10 then you need 10 students to decline the admission before you can be admitted.

Usually tuition waiver is for the best students. Being in the waiting list means you did not perform very well. So logically you cannot qualify for a tuition waiver.

I hope this explanation helps?

I acknowledge everyone who has contributed to this forum, this is my first time here. I got to know about Estonia a couple of weeks back. I applied for MSc Computer Science and Software Engineering in University of Tartu last week and received positive feedback for both courses today. I am counting on securing full scholarship from the University given the info I found on their course pages.

The mail I received says results will be announced latest May 15. My question to my bosses here is majorly concerning the Visa as it seems to be the greatest hurdle from what I have read so far on previous threads. Please, I need someone to authoritatively (if possible)

1. confirm which is the best route of applying for Visa
2. give a rough estimate of how much it will cost to apply for the Visa through this route
3. give an overall advice on what I should do next before May 15

I have a BSc in Computer Science with a 4.71/5.00 CGPA.

I will really appreciate your responses.

I want to comment on your CGPA. It is quite impressive.

Can one's spouse work? Are they given TRP to work?

Yes your spouse can work. But only your income before spousal arrival is used to determine sufficiency. Check Police and Border Guard website for more info.

Hello all, pls I need ur advice. I got on the portal today and applied to Euroacademy to study MSc Environmental protection. I also have my transcript with me which I av sent to the school. I ve used the transcript to apply to another school before. The problem now is that I have not written the English test. If I write the test by the end of the month, will I still meet up with the admission process. Also can my spouse go with me when I get the admission?

It takes 10 days from exam date for your toefl result to reach the University.

Your spouse can join you if your income can care for him/her.

Starting from this year (2018), all degree seeking students including PhD candidates from non-native English speaking countries, who have not attended education in a native English country are required to take an English test for admission to the University of Tartu. This change has not been updated on DreamApply. Take note PhD applicants!

Hello Everybody, i have applied for admission for MSC at TTU estonia. i have three questions.

1. what is the best way to pay the application fee?
2. is it late to send my transcript to the university? i feel like i am applying late.
3. when am i supposed to expect the interview after the application?

thanks

Qst. 1. I think the best way would be to pay through someone in Estonia.

Qst. 2. What is the application deadline? Has the deadline passed?

Qst. 3. You should expect the interview during the application period.
