What is the meaning of friends/contacts. This is a debasing mindset. You set up yourself as a salesman and perpetual follower. Why not go for excellence and be a leader, a person whom others will look up to and follow. This is a defeatist mentality. Your child will end up in bad company.

True talk. We went to slate carrying schools and look at where we are today. My children attend a not so posh school but am proud of their achievements so far, they can hold their head high anywhere they find themselves. Thank God.

Buhari is absolutely correct and sincere. We need to change our mentality and improve ourselves. You all know the truth, how many of you wrote WAEC, GCE, UME on your own?

Because it is the norm in your part of the country to cheat at ssce so you think its same for other parts of the country. Do you even think about the number of university intake from the middle belt down to the southern regions despite that the system has been skewed against them with qota system and catchment and the consequential volume of graduates they produce every year? Do you think about the various types of hustle being undertaken by these people, the various innovative ways they have employed to make ends meet in the absence of government assistance and the resultant effects of their efforts on the microeconomic indices of the nation? My friend go to construction sites, go to the markets, go to the farms, go to the secondary schools, go to the polytechnics, go to the universities, go to the banks, go to government offices, go to the streets and you will know that the Nigerian youth is not lazy and indolent like pmb think we are and if you think like him then you are as detached from the reality as he is.
