Good evening to all distinguished members of JOHESU. I really salute our collective doggedness and resilience to nib injustice,suppression, and subjugation meted on us by FMOH and would on behalf of the national/local exco commend your cooperation and compliance to our several directives,don't relent in this pls. Our attention have been drawn to speculations of court order or no court order,for now I want to advice the house to disregard such rumour, cos it is one of the gimmicks of FMOH to cow us back to work. You would recall,that they have tried several measures but our unchanging position is a big threat to them,so pls be calm,no one should be above the law,if the FMOH would not obey Court order we should be punished if we obey hence THE STRIKE CONTINUES as we await further directives from our national leaders so pls REMAIN AT HOME. I also want to use thus medium to congratulate the muslim faithful on the commencement of the Ramadan fasting,may God grant you the strength and good health to go start and finish it successfully and may all your prayers be answered.
But pls pray hard for the health sector/JOHESU .

Johesu want the same salary scale with Medical Doctors. It's easy to claim entry point distinguishes them but let's look at exit point. A lab Scientist at 55yrs probably now at the highest grade does nothing but order Juniors around, yet a General Surgeon who has put his life on the line still does rigorous calls and theatre sessions at 58yrs. The stupid, insane and unbelievable new demand means that a lab scientist, Nurse and neurosurgeon at the same grade level should earn the same, despite not having the same responsibility, this is a shame, and the Country will pay for considering these Buffon's and clowns called Johesu. Nowhere in the world is this stupidity condoned. The average hourly work rate of each professional the world over can be browsed, in all cases the doctors' comes top.

My advice for Junior doctors is to run as far as ur legs can take u, this is the best time. Don't look back, doctors are hot cake and don't limit yourself to a shithole country.

I wish u could digest the NMA position before posting this crap..
NMA is not against pay rise for anybody but ask that relativity be sacrosanct according to international best practice.. A doctor with several academic battering and fellowship struggle cannot be on same salary scale with a nurse or pharmacist.. forget the age and all, the quality of service isn't same irrespective of how old one has been in service. We must learn to respect professionalism in this country.
Johesu was formed to hang up against the doctors in the health sector because they feel with their strength they can arm twist the government.. Some of it's demands ate briddled with ego, jealousy and desire to reap where one didn't sow. The door is wide open for any who wishes to study medicine. No following short cut, go back to school and be accorded same status.
