Well, if it doesn't, then probably the fraudster uses other monikers.

A couple of months ago, some unknown wealthy individual with the above moniker sent me a friend request on Facebook. I went through his profile and found him to be doing extremely well (finance wise) for himself. I saw some photos he took having top shots like Obu Cubana and Zubby Michaels in them.

The young man with a family of two (wife and daughter) would post different photos of his family, some he would greatly compliment his wife. A really good looking tall light skinned man with some alias which I can't exactly remember. According to his profile, he is an oil magnate, a partner with other top firms and a philanthropist who lives in Port Harcourt.

About 2 weeks ago, he celebrated his daughter's birthday and posted photos of it. Later that same day, I saw a post of his saying he would help 100 people with financial support and all he required from them was that they donate little stipends to orphanages. Money ranging from 1K to 10K, each amount would yield a reward of at least 10 times the donation. He also added a stiff warning that no beneficiary should post a proof of their credit alert. Contrary to his warning, a lady posted a proof of her reward that gave N300K and he reproved her for it.

I bit my lips for missing that golden opportunity.

Yesterday, just yesterday - 10th May, 2022, he celebrated his mum on Facebook on the occasion of her birthday. I must say he is a spitting image of her. A lot of people who were apparently beneficiaries of his munificence commented heartfelt warm wishes on the post. Some even showered encomiums on him as they joined in celebrating 'Mummy'. It looked too real to be considered deceptive.

Consequently, Mr Philanthropist posted photos of acts of benevolence he overwhelmed individuals with, on the occasion of Momma's birthday. Items could be seen like numerous tubers of yam, cartons of noodles, kegs of oil, cash gifts and what have you.

Much later that day, he posted a photo of himself being in a private jet and the caption was that out of immense joy over his mum's day, he wanted to credit people's lines with airtime, ranging from N100 worth to N1,000 worth. I saw the post about 4 hours later than it got posted, still I dropped my number.
The following morning, I woke up to find my line credited with an amount worth of airtime.

'Wow! This guy is an angel', I felt.

Two hours later, still in the early hours of the morning, Oga philanthropist posted that he wanted to help 100 people, all they needed do was to send money to the accounts of certain orphanages, then he would greatly reward them. I mumuly believed and donated.

*Sobs*

To cut the long story short, Oga has blocked me on Facebook and erased every memory of his moniker, photos and posts from my timeline.

Beware of such complete wolves in immaculate sheep's clothing.
