in Gatif must receive arm and weapons to People defend themselves from brutal Saudi regime of Alsaud and his family who are looting the country for a century. People in Gatif must be armed as quick as possible because more killing is planed by Saudi ROYAL family who are banking Billions of dollars every day in American banks with no intention of giving back anything to ordinary Saudis. The regime of Alsaud is the route of Muslim killing, family will do anything to please US and grab to power and send arm to terrorist groups in Iraq,Yeman,Afganistan and now Syria in request of USA . The Anti Islam family are occupying the most important Holly land of Muslims and allowing the none believers to live and kill other Muslims from there. |
senior member of Saudi Arabia's monarchy hasA called for militants fighting against the Syrian government to be given sophisticated weapons, including anti-aircraft weapons. Prince Turki al-Faisal, a former intelligence chief and brother of the Saudi foreign minister, made the remarks on Friday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. "What is needed are sophisticated, high-level weapons that can bring down planes, can take out tanks at a distance. This is not getting through," Reuters quoted the Saudi prince as saying. He also admitted that his country is arming the militants fighting against the Damascus government and justified Riyadh's anti-Syrian move as "leveling the playing field". "I'm not in government so I don't have to be diplomatic. I assume we're sending weapons and if we were not sending weapons it would be terrible mistake on our part," al-Faisal said adding that "You have to level the playing field. Most of the weapons the rebels have come from captured Syrian stocks". Syria has been experiencing unrest since mid-March 2011. Many people, including large numbers of security forces, have been killed in the violence. Syria accuses Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey as well as some Western countries of fanning the flames of violence in the country by arming and funding the terrorists. http://www.presstv.ir/breakingnews.html |

Obasanjo a gift to Africa?na wa oooo |
Abeokuta - A former Ghanaian President, John Kufuor and other eminent Nigerians, on Friday extolled the virtues of former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo, describing him as “a gift to Africa’’. They spoke in Abeokuta at a reception organised for Obasanjo by the South-West zone of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in recognition of his contribution to the party, nation and Africa. Kufuor, who delivered the keynote address, described the programme as exemplary, noting that very few heroes and legends were celebrated during their lifetime. Olusegun Obasanjo He described Obasanjo as a friend, a brother, a confidant and a sympathetic African leader who had contributed immensely to the uplift and transformation of less endowed African countries. Kufuor recalled that it was Obasanjo who came to his rescue in 2001 when he (Kufuor) took over the reins of governance in Ghana with almost a collapsed economy. “I had limited options at this time. I quickly ran to Obasanjo and requested that he should lift the fuel embargo Nigeria placed on Ghana for refusing to service its debt. “Obasanjo graciously accepted and began to sell fuel to Ghana on favourable terms. “This singular gesture served as impetus for the uplift of Ghana when other donor countries across the globe refused to offer assistance,’’ Kufuor recalled. Kufuor also recalled how Obasanjo was instrumental to several conflict resolutions between African countries, thereby promoting peace in the continent. He described Obasanjo as “a growing concern’’ who had continued to work tirelessly for the unity and transformation of the African continent. Chief Earnest Shonekan, the former Head of Interim National Government, described Obasanjo as a man of integrity. He noted that Obasanjo was the first Nigerian Military leader who in 1979 relinquished power peacefully to a democratically elected government. Shonekan said that Obasanjo was passionately committed to the unity and transformation of Nigeria. The Senate President, David Mark, described Obasanjo as an outstanding Nigerian statesman and a national icon whose love for the nation would be difficult to surpass. Responding, Obasanjo appreciated the organisers of the programme, attributing his accomplishments to “the grace of God’’. He said three principles normally guided his actions in life namely: “Can I defend my action before God? Can I defend my action before the people? Will my action benefit majority of people?’’ He said a leader should be “fearless and courageous’’ and be ready to step on “toes’’ whenever it was necessary. Obasanjo also expressed optimism that Nigeria and the African continent would very soon be ranked as one of the best countries and continents in the world, respectively. The programme was attended by sitting and past governors, members of the diplomatic corps, captains of industry and traditional rulers among others. Funsho Adeolu is not one to be toyed with, especially concerning professionalism. Nigerian Entertainment Today met with the 45-year-old actor at a movie location in Ikorodu, and he spoke candidly on why he has been absent from English movies, and why Yoruba movies and actors are not in the spotlight like their English counterparts. Excerpts: L[b]et us start with your assessment of the Nigerian movie industry.[/b] There has been a lot of improvement. At the moment, we don't have a control agency, [which] is why we see some very funny things on TV, but when I started acting, the kind of cameras we used and technical know-how we had was nothing close to what we have now. We use very high-tech cameras now, the kind they use overseas. We are progressing. Is the industry lucrative? It is very lucrative, [and] that is why everybody is coming in. The fact that it is lucrative is the reason we have so many people in the industry, and that has resulted in the lack of control in the movie world. These people wouldn't have come in if there was no money. You started out with soap operas but have not done those lately. Why is that? After starring in Palace, then Super Story and later Family Ties, it will be difficult for me to do anything less. If good work comes, I'll be there. When the era of soap operas started, there weren't many on the TV, but now we have so many soaps on TV, appearing in all of them would only make me lose my worth. Why have you been absent in English movies these days? When I started out, I always had an eye for professionalism and respect for the profession. I have always aimed for perfection in everything I do. I like to be in the midst of people that are professionals. Even at that time, when I was in English [movies], I never worked with anybody apart from Tunji Bamishigbin, Jimi Odumosu, Tade Ogidan, and the likes. During that period, I got offers from others but I always declined. Why? Because they were not professionals. Theirs (Igbo filmmakers) are usually a case of somebody who started as a production assistant and in a year, claims to be a director. I had a standard and used to refuse their offers, but when it got to a point, all the people I mentioned (Tunji Bamishigbin, Jimi Odumosu, Tade Ogidan) left movies for soaps, and as an actor by profession, I had to eat. Antar Laniyan was the one that advised me to try Yoruba movies. Is it true that there is a disparity between Yoruba and English speaking actors and why is this so? Maybe because of the standards these days for Yoruba actors. Naturally, there is bound to be a small complex, and as it is over there, if you do not showcase yourself, nobody will see or think you can do anything. Some people who saw me on Family Ties were surprised, forgetting I was a major character in Wale Adenuga's Super Story. If a Yoruba actor doesn't try to show himself or herself in any English speaking movie or soap, nobody will know they understand English, but we have more read people in the Yoruba movie industry more than in the English. Are there English actors you admire? I admire Olu Jacobs and his wife [Joke Silva], Bimbo Manuel, RMD, Genevieve, Ramsey Noah. The Yoruba [actors] I admire are Yomi Fash Lanso, Antar Laniyan, Funke Akindele, and Fathia Balogun. We have a lot of them, but if I mention too many people, I'll step on toes. Of all the movies you have ever been in, which has been the most memorable? Iyan Ogun Odun, and that is because of the role I played. I couldn't have done it for money but for acting, I'll do anything apart from getting naked and having sex on set.\ It has been eight years since you got married, how has the journey been so far? In my home, there's real love. A lot of people don't know what love is. These days, a lot of people don't get married for love, they do it because they have to be married or because of the wealth involved or the woman got pregnant and the marriage, forced. Mine has been great because I got married to my friend, we dated for eight years and it has been awesome till date. |
