Funny enough, Tompolo appears to me as a laid back person unlike Asari. If the government wants to start something with a Niger Deltan, I'd think theyd start with Asari first and leave Tompolo alone. As far as I know, Tompolo has been a mature person in the way he carries himself. |

Travel › Re: Before You Rush Off To The U.S. To Give Birth To That Child- Consider This!! by SmartMugu: 3:40am On Feb 15, 2016 |
tpiar: 1. What is an "accidental American"?
The explanation here is pretty clear. One American parent can travel anywhere, have a child with a native of that land. That child is an accidental american, even though he might have never visited America before.
2. What is the age of this person (if he's a real person)? Dunno
3. You dont become American (for official purposes such as the one stated in the example given) if born outside the US, if you dont officially register your presence and birth with the embassy or in some official capacity somewhere. You might be American through one or both parent/s , but you have to officially acknowledge this fact first.
If you're born by at least one American parent, you are american. Wait till something happens to that accidental child anywhere in the world, regardless of if that kid has a US passport or some paperwork, as long as the American parent can prove that's his kid, the child should expect same treatment as other Americans in similar situations in the same region.
Certain forms request you state the countries of your parents' nationalities. Several financial firms in many countries don't want to do business with US residents or people with ties to the US, which may be what this person is going through.
4. Which other forms of id are acceptable by banks besides a passport? Banks where? In the US or in France? In the US, just a state ID or Drivers license is good enough. |

Politics › Re: BIAFRA: A Facebook Post By An Ibo And How People Reacted (screenshots) by SmartMugu: 4:05am On Feb 12, 2016 |
Sctests: But why haven't we seen an anti- Kanu rally in any of the eastern states organized by the so-called anti-IPOB Igbos? Are they deceiving themselves? Do anti-IPOB Igbos only exist online? Why are they not bold to organize an anti-kanu rally even in Imo an APC state in the East? Lolzzzzzz I don't think there is any such thing as anti-Kanu. Kanu had his thoughts and shared them publicly, his followers are the ones organizing rallies, not those that don't agree with his thoughts. If you believe every woman should marry 7 husbands, and your supporters agree to protest to get that to happen, don't you think people that don't see any sense in what you're protesting about will just ignore you and your team? Would you expect a counter protest instead? Kanu hasn't hurt anyone as far as I know and is entitled to his opinions. In fact I think he should be respected for standing for what he believes in, being vocal about it and making efforts to send a message to his like minds. It would also be wise to understand not everyone agrees with him and not conclude people have reasons to hate him or protest against his beliefs. Some people may not just buy-in into his ideas which is normal in any sane society. |
