Lol...the other airline seems to be giving the one underneath a knock on it's head |
Pls use same energy to seal all pot holes, bad roads, and poor state of infrastructures in Aba |
They have never sent anything to me. I don't know if those who receive read the content, because there is still no behavioural change |
Lol...Pls ask Aisha Buhari if Buhari does possess any conflict resolution ability? If the biggest constitutional mandate that should guarantee the safety of lives and properties in Nigeria he has not been able to settle, then forget it. Except you are talking about how to settle issues that concerns borrowing and taking loans, then u can call Buhari. I just envy the President, he is flexing o...just imagine spending ur retirement years as a president, then u expect two old men to raise his BP? Buhari will just watch on |
Both the Edo governor and his deputy had been dumped by the APC a long time ago, what they have both done today is to leave the big brother house...they now have the opportunity to show their political sagacity if they possess any. Nigerian politics is not the same strain we read in textbooks or see in developed Nations. It is a very virulent and useless strain which has no principles nor philosophy. Funny enough most of our politicians don't even have a second address if politics doesn't pay them. They become lost as though they had no other plans or career path, that's why u see their desperation so high to pitch anywhere and undo themselves to gain power |
The world just keeps hyping the influence of certain average players on the outcome of games, and it makes them nonchalant. Sensible coaches will instill their best performing and committed first eleven, no matter who is displeased. Many arrogant players will soon begin to realise that clubs maybe forced to slash their wages in the long term and offload liability players based on the present economic realities with Covid 19. Maybe many egoistic ones will sit up. Like Pogba, like Balotelli, like Neymar....they all have one thing in common which is extreme pride, made worse by European media hype |
Ok |
That flight suspension indefinitely can be for a period of just 2hrs in this country. By the time money and influential persons call in, the suspension will be lifted and they won't announce that one to us |
So 3hrs prior arrival will stop the transmission of the virus abi? Plus the additional 4hrs delay, it means 7hrs. We Keep copying Western countries in easing lockdown protocols but we don't copy any advancement in technology and better service delivery to our citizens. In Nigeria, airlines are like taxis. U will see one airline with multiple routes to serve passengers in different destinations each day, and that is why we majorly experience delays in takeoff time. Nigeria don't just have any blueprint based on our own uniqueness to even decontaminate these airlines after each successful flight landing else that would be more logical to tell us here |
There must be something irredeemable about Nigeria, which generation after generation, the LCM is that nothing works. All sectors are in a mess, only politicians, their sycophants, and their relatives cash out. Well, we are used to all sorts of strikes here but my people, someday if u want a change, make urself a global citizen with abilities, skills and competencies beyond ur local sphere to function beyond ur nationality, so that you can escape permanently this hell embassy called Nigeria. |
Let them settle their issues. Las Las na family matter |
Some old men will just gather on some decorated tables with microphones and make certain statements about something long scripted based on a fall out, just to announce decisions that does not benefit the common man but their pockets. Funny enough Obaseki said he wasn't appealing, so why is the appeal committee meeting and upholding the disqualification without any application by the governor? It shows u that we don't even know what to use time for in this country. U will be surprised how much will be budgeted to be spent by APC on all these mere academic excercise |
In sane climes, citizens are endeared to soldiers and honour them as heroes cos of their sanity to civilians and brutality to foreign enemies of the state. Infact in solidarity, citizens wear military camouflage but in Nigeria, soldiers want to be feared and appear as dreaded beast to the citizens whose taxes pay their bills. They beat traffic at will, flog passer-by, punish unarmed civilians with impunity and harass health workers, even the police, road transporters and travelers. Unfortunately, we have conditioned our minds in this country to believe soldiers are tough and to be feared, comedians make jokes about them on how citizens should fear their presence, those who are motivated to join the armed forces look up to how they will intimidate and send panic to anyone who dares them, their loved ones and their families, so the ego has gotten them distracted from why they were formed. Nigerians must stop this mentality of worshipping soldiers and they must be reforms to bring their excesses to book by the authorities. If this report is true, then we are in a mess as a nation. Funny enough they worship the politicians and serve the domestic needs of top wealthy men they are attached to. Thats to tell u that we are just in a jungle |
I wish Nigeria politics had value. I'm confused if we really copied this democratic system from Western nations or if Nigeria is using the fake or doctored version. How does a politician jump about from one political party to the other without a careful appraisal of his political philosophy? And another one without a political philosophy is wooing him? Must he contest? Are there no other men of integrity to lead Edo apart from those from APC or PDP? Atiku should know that a man with the determination of obaseki doesn't need to be appealed to, in order to make a decision. In the real sense, he is the one who needs a political platform more than a political party needing him. If a political party is begging him, it therefore means that they have no prestige in them, and don't consider themselves contenders for an election if Obaseki doesn't use their platform, and that in itself is a shame |
This MURIC man spends all the days of his retirement life just to complain about frivolities. These kind of people are usually very noisy and empty, and deserve social distancing from all individuals that know them all through life. At best let his village appoint him as a town crier |
Let me use this opportunity to welcome interested Chinese companies to bid for the contract. It is no longer news that our politicians have began having a goldmine avenue to loot with the Chinese in charge of such jobs. |
I made an earlier warning on this, that this man has done too much grandstanding to think he'll have a lifeline again in APC. Such actions should naturally inform him that he needs to realise his ambition elsewhere, but I wonder who fooled him to think he had a chance with the APC. The PDP may have gone too far in their process for him to hijack what other aspirants have solidified for this election. He can take up the candidacy of one of those 2 alphabets political parties that begins with 'A', so that his party logo can be first on the ballot paper, maybe it will give him an advantage during thumb printing. In the end all these moves politicians make are not meant to better the people they govern, so I don't care |
What EX- President? This family should move on abeg. Many persons like Martin Luther King Jr had their own heroics in America, yet every year u don't keep hearing about their children or family cashing out daily and holding their countries with unreasonable demands |
I don't believe this narrative.... |
What a good development. I am rather imagining why the age range for interested candidates got to 70? How relevant will that age group be to aggressive security strategies. Except maybe they will use that to put in their grandparent names for settlement |
Is it not Nigeria again? Even those who set the exam questions, if given exams to write, may not pass. U will be ashamed if u are made to go through most of the files of these so called 'big men' in the civil service. For most of them, their only qualification could even be a secretarial study course, that have pushed them to becoming directors. Some can't even send text messages on their own, talkless of being able to check emails or print confidential documents, but they are heading to become permanent secretaries after which they will sew big babariga and go for thanksgiving should they succeed. Meanwhile, the exam questions may have been some very simple MCQs which one can use residual knowledge to pass, but these quota system directors cannot pass. These are the type of dumb bosses we have in government offices, and they are always the first to shout 'get out of my office' at any given opportunity, yet most of the current crop of unemployed youths are more qualified and certified than them |
Pls wake me up when u have the number of unconfirmed cases |
Right now, the government agencies don't even have a clue about what to do....they are just watching CNN and Aljazzeera to check what oyibos are planning to do, and without recourse to if we are in same progress situation, they will instruct us on same thing oyibos have decided. No novelty in Nigeria's approach, we are just following the trend of events foolishly, and this won't stop this current update trend |
Our country doesn't seem to be sincere in ending the fight against mass killings, and terrorism. Northern Nigeria is bounded by so many countries that are hotbeds for islamic insurgents, terror groups, militias, and training camps for extremists. In order to get to unleash terror and kill innocent Nigerians in both the North and South and operate without hitch, the terrorists (both local and foreign) have now masqueraded under the cover of being killer herdsmen, dreaded robbers, bandits, kidnappers, and all sorts and are causing havoc each moment. They have decieved our government to even feel they aren't terrorists, and deserve RUGA, amnesty, rehabilitation. They even have spokespersons under some umbrella bodies and association who give government conditions for peace, while collecting huge financial compensations everytime they complain of 'cattle rustling'. Yet we can't secure our borders nor have a database of our citizens, we can't protect the vulnerable from being killed, raped, maimed, and losing their farmlands, source of livelihood, and even becoming displaced from their communities. Politicians have used these porous borders up north for numerical advantage in winning elections, and after that the poor masses are left to face the insecurity that results. I just feel this country was not ready for independence because governance has failed since 1960 |
Slawormir:This is a very useless comment from a myopic mind. In the end does religion take u anywhere? Instead of having a personal relationship with God, u are fronting doctrine as though it is more important than ur personal salvation. Very foolish perception |
I appreciate the technological advancement in China, but their racist tendencies and overzealous nature to develop more capacity has caused the world pain through Covid 19. As a result, there is nothing China does that appeals to me...they have caused humanity serious pain |
Way to go...the church is God's own, and His work won't be stopped just because physical temples aren't open due to a pandemic. I salute his thought process. When the health safety level of public gathering improves, God's people will still gather again. |
Sitting to calculate someone else's money is quite funny. Ighalo himself seems so low key and may not even care about this insignificant valuation. The best this thread will do here is to rally some dreamers to type different wishful prayer points all centred on God picking their calls when in the real sense everyone has got his/own success button which money is just one aspect of |
Your focus should be what u can create to add to the body of knowledge after graduation and not where to work. Once you can fill a knowledge gap, ur services will be needed globally. I bet that if you focus myopically on where u can work, technological advancement will replace u someday or someone without a degree in ur field will be trained on how to use relevant statistical softwares to do the job you spent years to study |
He has gotten a custom made wife, and I have no right to question the age between them. Afterall, the lady he married has questioned the wealth she will be swallowing and it makes sense to her |
How do you intend to go and meet a National leader of ur party who birthed the way to use direct primary system to oust his own state governor at a time from getting a second term ticket? It won't work. I believe Tinubu is the backbone of Oshiomole and he dictates 'back stage' what he does/should do as the APC national chairman...as far as I am concerned, obaseki has proven a lot that he is bigger than being a stooge, let him now be bold enough to realise his ambition in a different political party, and let's just observe. Afterall, their fights are never meant to serve the people but their pockets and power influence |
It must be a very simple job to be a Nigerian legislator....these guys just go there and discuss non issues and other general issues any common man will discuss to while away time, and in the end collect jumbo pay, without any meaningful critical engagement of the executive, to prevent their poor proposals on loan collections and national development. A bunch of rubber stamp mannequins |
