maryjames9:All these misinformed and confused kids on NL, hun. Hatred for America? Desperately wishing to travel there? Son, let me tell you something - The first time I traveled from Lagos to JFK on Nigerian Airways, the ticket cost was only N300. I'm more than sure that you were not even then. I have been traveling the world with a US passport before you were born. Filing for bankruptcy is always because you failed in whatever you are doing. Have you ever heard of a business that is making money and have made good business decisions filling for bankruptcy? Pls give us just one example. Talking about Arabs, who is Trumps best friend right now? Is it not MBS, the ruler of Saudi Arabia? The troops that he's removing from Germany might more than likely end up in Saudi Arabia. The more you look, the less you see. Son, you sound like someone who just took Physics 101 and now thinks that they are qualified to speak as a Physicist. You are simply repeating the type of trash that you will hear on Fox entertainment channel. Go back to learn world Geopolitics/affairs and come back 20 years from now to speak as a more informed person. Right now, you are just spitting out all that you have heard from watching too much Fox news. |
[s] SeverusSnape:[/s] Filed for bankruptcy more than 4 times. Yeah successful indeed. Dying to hide tax records. Lol Trump is just doing what Putin really want him to do. He's a Putin's PUPPET.

phoenix911:I know for a fact that Namdiot Cownu does not represent all Igbos because I know many Igbos who does not subscribe to his trash talking nonsense. So assuming that I'm against all Igbos because I called out the buffoonery of Namdiot Cownu is a long reach and totally wrong. I'm against Cownu and his gang of brainwashed IPIGS NOT against IGBOS. Pls know the difference. |
This idiot and Namdiot Coward Cownu should be pals. All they sabi do is chest beat and noting more. A Fulani man will not be the next president of Nigeria. |
egoldman:ALL I stated apply to you more than you will ever know. Wear it like a suit and imbibe it like your akamu. Another lost soul, just wondering and blahbing like a fish out of water. |
[s][s] PrecisionFx:[/s] LMAO, after the OLODO has been schooled, he went back and add "river port".Not going to waste my time arguing with a RETARDED BRAINWASHED IPIG FOOL. I've got better things to do. STFU and GTFOH. |
PrecisionFx:Hey DUMBO, there is NO SEAPORT in ONITSHA. What you have in ONITSHA is called a RIVER PORT because there's no SEA in ONITSHA. It's to be fed by the PH SEAPORT which is on the SEA. The ONITSHA River Port has been dormant since the time of Shagari, why didn't Jonathan do anything about it? HUN? Jonathan used it as a political tool when looking for votes, yet not a single cargo has gone through the ONITSHA RIVER PORT in about 35 years since it was commissioned by SHagari. 16 YEARS OF PDP and JONA they couldn't do shit about it. See you SORRY LIFE.. Buhari is the one doing something to make sure that the port goes into operations. Buhari is also the one renovating the runway at Enugu International Airport to meet world class standard that will allow bigger Planes used for international flights to land with more frequency. Your Buhari HATRED has BLINDED and BRAINWASHED YOU. See who's CONFUSED and MISINFORMED NOW. https://businessandmaritimewestafrica.com/why-onitsha-river-port-will-remain-dormant-by-operators/ https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/02/federal-government-sets-timeline-to-put-onitsha-river-port-to-use/ |
[s] Dunsin2020:[/s] See a so called Nigerian YOUTH. Always partaking in BUFFOONERY. |
Good. |
Slynation:I agree that there should be an International standard Airport in the SE and I think they are constructing one I think in Enugu. It will be incredibly expensive to build a world class Port on River Niger, it's much cheaper to have one on the Ocean instead of a River. |
seunmsg:Pls continue to educate these brainwashed blind fools. |
Yes oh. |
I only believe in FACTS - Not emotions Nigeria has the 10th largest oil reserves in the world [1]. However, according to the National Bureau of Statistics, Nigeria's petroleum industry contributes less than 10 percent of Nigeria's gross domestic product (GDP): 9 percent in 2015 and 8 percent in 2016. Agriculture and oil are not enough to get the country where it needs to be, what we need is SCIENCE and TECHNOLOGY. This is what got China, India, and other Asian countries out of poverty. Without SCIENCE and TECHNOLOGY, we shall remain 3RD WORLD for the foreseeable future. |
THE ISSUE IS WHO ARE YOU GOING TO TRUST IN SITUATION LIKE THIS, THE COWARD TRUMP OR THE COMMANDER, A 4 STAR GENERAL RESPECTED BY ALL? THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE - THE COMMANDER. BROUGHT TO YOU BY REPUBLICANS WHO ARE TIRED OF TRAMP THE COWARD.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYa8mEr3sJA |

JasonScoolari:Blind brainwashed IPIG mumus like you deserve the kind of treatment that is being given to the terrorist fool in this article below. A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) official who accused Hope Uzodinma, governor of Imo state, of “secretly approving rural grazing reserves for herdsmen”, has been charged with terrorism, according to PUNCH. Ambrose Nwaogwugwu, director general of the new media centre of the opposition party, made the allegation in a Facebook post. Subsequently, the Imo state government arraigned him in court. The charge sheet marked 0W/217c/2020, stated that Nwaogwugwu, 29, accused the governor of constructing a rural grazing area for herdsmen in the state. Nwaogwugwu allegedly accused the governor of having plans to rename Imo State University (IMSU), after Abba Kyari, former chief of staff to the president who died from COVID-19 complications. The governor has since denied the allegation. It was also alleged that Nwaogwugwu had accused Uzodinma of planning to divert N5.2 billion meant for pensioners in the state. He was said to have posted all these accusations against the governor on Facebook between March and May 2020. Nwaogwugwu was arrested and taken into custody by the Department of State Services on May 28, 2020. On Friday, the defendant was arraigned on a four-count charge bordering on terrorism, cyberbullying, defamation, and attempting to incite citizens against the governor. Part of the charges read: “That you, Ambrose Nwaogwugwu, on April 20, 2020, in Owerri, within the jurisdiction of this court, knowingly and intentionally posted on your Facebook wall through a computer network that governor Hope Uzodinma is to rename Imo state university to Abba Kyari university for helping him out in the supreme Court, which you know to be false for the purpose of causing annoyance, insult, injury, hatred, ill will and needless anxiety to the governor and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 24 (1)(a)(b) of Cybercrimes (Prohibition etc) Act 2015. “That you, Ambrose Nwaogwugwu, on March 23, 2020, in Owerri, within the jurisdiction of this court, knowingly published on your Facebook page that governor Hope Uzodinma has inaugurated an undercover RUGA commissioner and has made available a large expanse of land for the takeoff of the RUGA project in Ngor Okpala which act is deliberately done with malice and which is seriously intended to intimidate Imo population and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 1(2)(b)(II) of Terrorism (Prevention) Act 2011.” https://www.thecable.ng/extra-pdp-official-who-accused-imo-gov-of-giving-land-to-herdsmen-charged-with-terrorism |

[[s]quote author=JasonScoolari post=90359549] Grade 8 zombies will storm this thread, weep uncontrollably and render their popular hymn "BRING OUR YAM OH MADUEKE" But these hypocrites stylishly avoided the thread below where the Gen Buhari led administration in collaboration with his corrupt cronies are depositing some hard currencies worth billions of Naira into personal accounts. https://www.nairaland.com/5903747/buhari-government-2900-payments-worth#90312855 Smart move from the beautiful Deizani if you ask me. Amungwele:You don't even understand what's going on here. Do you? Nigeria had a candidate, Mr Agah, who is also one of the 4 Deputy director-generals of the WTO. For reasons known to the govt and Mr Agah his candidature was replaced with Nwela. |
Gbabe2:The kind of society that you described here is the kind of society that I have lived most of my life, so I totally comprehend where you are coming from. I also make it a point to tell people that just getting out of a University doesn't guarantee you a job anywhere. In fact the in the US, your job experience is valued more than your educational background. I slightly disagree with you though on the school of thought that leadership is the biggest issue in Nigeria. Nigerians enjoy blaming their leaders as if they were imported from another planet to come and rule over them. Your leadership is a microcosm of your society. Your leadership doesn't just consist of the President, it consist of your councilors, LG chairmen, Governors, Legislatures, Ministers and others. What you find in leadership positions in the country is what is prevalent in the Nigerian society. You cannot have one type pf people in your society but expect your elected leadership to be vastly different from the people. They are one and the same. For the leadership to change, then mindset and thinking of the average Nigerian has to change. |
michlins:One of the best posts I have read on NL in a while. The bold part is the biggest reason for the level of poverty in Nigeria. The country's economy is growing at 2 to 2.5 percent per year while the Population is growing at the rate of 6 to 7 percent. When my Father graduated from University, he was the 2nd in the his family and one of the first in the whole town. They were begging him to come and join various govt Ministries. Now you have so many people graduating from glorified High schools and with fewer opportunities. I know that China and India also had population explosion hence they also still have large percentage of their population that are still in poverty. They have done better than Nigeria because their people have been able to come up with technologies that the rest of the world needs like IT and Machinery. Until Nigerians to some extent are able to come up with goods and services that the world needs, don't expect any significant change in the over all standard of living in the country. Science is the KEY, not Churches and Mosques. |

Noel19:Just wait, your time will come. In the mean time, work hard, mingle with the right people, be humble and listen out for information on how to make money. Legal money not the Yahoo yahoo kind that these kids are into. It's not overnight, but you will get there. INFORMATION is the key. With the right information, you will be looking like a genius even though the only difference between you and the next person is the information that you have. Simple. |
