Enugu state is a state people should focus on. That governor is doing fanatic. Their IGR and other metrics seems to be improving too.

Ogun should gun to be in top 3.

I am not surprised about Osun and Ondo being in lower 10, their governors are misfits
I was in Enugu recently. I agree with you!

I think Nigerians deserve Tulumbu and Apc because if a full grown man can write these gibberish just because month is about to end so that he can be paid his monthly 30 k naira…

What exactly is the economic situation of dollar before Buhari handed over to Tulumbu ?

Why can’t Tulumbu take back dollar to what he met it ?
Ironically, the article doesn't praise Tinubu - it argues that government claims of recovery are hollow without impact on the standard of living of the common man. You people must not always display your lack of enlightenment at every opportunity.

Sports › Re: Senegal President Updates Profile Picture With AFCON Trophy by SmartyPants(m): 7:34am On Mar 22
gibberish:
The member states voted that Senegal lost the right to compete for staging a walk out at the finals. This means Senegal did not compete in the final by CAF code. CAF error was allowing the game to continue after the walk out and that error is fatal on CAF side. But the board which comprises of the member states representatives has voted that the game is void and Senegal win was cancelled and Morocco was announced the winner after awarding them maximum 3 goals.
If I tell you that your opinion doesn't count but only the votes of the delegates counts now they will say I'm talking gibberish.
Let me hold my peace.
Of course you are talking gibberish because:

1. The fact that a governance body has made a decision does not make the decision right so the question of whether my opinion counts makes no sense. I'm entitled to dissent.
2. You may not know but the CAF Appeals Committee is not the highest arbitrator. There is CAS and is CAS's opinion that counts.

killsmith:
No. By law forfeiting the game is 3 nil.
By law, a forfeit occurs when the centre ref declares the match forfeited. It is entirely up to the centre ref to make that call and if he doesn't and the other team consents to wait, then the result should not be overturned afterwards.

gibberish:
The owners said you are not the winner and you are challenging them.
Is it because they made mistake and declared you the winner before coming to their senses. They should have declared Morocco the winner and told you to go to court.
If I say more than this now they will say I'm talking gibberish.
Let me hold my peace.
The owners? CAF is a confederation of member states. The cup belongs to all of us, not the organisation.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Snubs Kemi Badenoch During UK Visit by SmartyPants(m): 7:12am On Mar 22
Sheuns:
The King invited her because she’s an important figure in the UK. She has to honor the King’s invite.

Did you see her talk to Tinubu or any of the Nigerian politicians there?

Also this is not the first time both of them will be at the same event.
She doesn't have to honour the invite. It would be politically risky not to, but given the subject matter, she could easily justify her absence on moral grounds.

Secondly, you seem not to understand that the protocol at these dinners is that a person of her position be introduced to the dignitary. The fact that she wasn't means the dignitary specifically must have indicated a disinterest in meeting her, which is exactly what the article suggests.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Snubs Kemi Badenoch During UK Visit by SmartyPants(m): 5:35pm On Mar 21
Sheuns:
The dinner the King invited her to or the one Tinubu hosted?

No be person wey host dinner get right to invite anyone he pleases?
Did I ask why she was invited or I asked why she attended?

Let me rephrase: since she wants nothing to do with him, why would she attend a dinner in his honour? Or was there another objective to the dinner that you want to share?

You can call it a snub if Madam Kemi wanted to meet him.

PHIPEX:
Keep on deceiving yourself. Do they need an agreement to send Nigerians back home, have they not been doing it all along?
One of the biggest skills you will need to pick up in life is the ability to spot a person who is more knowledgeable than you and conduct yourself accordingly.

For your information, though you certainly do not deserve to be informed, there are different classes of immigration issues. There are people who purposefully destroy their travel papers in order to make it legally impossible to tie them to a particular country and deport them there, partly because the receiving country may not accept that these are their citizens without a valid travel document like a passport or emergency travel certificate. This agreement allows the UK to issue a special document that will be recognised by the Nigerian government in such cases.

Politics › Re: Don’t Shoot At Boko Haram. Only Defend Yourselves - Military Commander by SmartyPants(m): 11:58am On Mar 17
Bendeco02:
Nothing like waste of bullets on ground attack.

Even if you shot 30 bullets to kill one boko haram fighter, that's not a waste.

When your fire is heavier than their own, they will retreat or start running back while you gain ground.

How does Boko Haram bullets hit and kill them if you thought the military bullet don't reach the range of the terrorits?
It will help if you take some time to comprehend what you're reading before responding.

I have not said anything like "the military bullet don't reach the range of the terrorits" and I don't know where you got such a nonsensical statement from. I said in this particular instance, the commander is stating that at that particular moment the enemy was out of range and they should not fire until they come into range.

I repeat: In this particular instance, and not in every single instance, the boko haram fighters were out of range. As you can clearly see from the video, no one is firing at the soldiers either.

He also explained to them that they have heavier guns that can fire on boko haram so they should not waste ammo when the artillery corps can do the job effectively.

It's not something difficult to understand.

He never used those particular words. This is a mischevious rephrasing of what he said.
Politics › Re: Don’t Shoot At Boko Haram. Only Defend Yourselves - Military Commander by SmartyPants(m): 11:30am On Mar 17
The person who provided the summary in the opening post is no different from a stark illiterate.

The commander never said do not fire at boko haram because they have better weapons. He said conserve your ammunition so that the artillery - which are the more powerful guns he referenced, should clear the enemy positions.

This is because the enemy positions at this point were out of range of their rifles, but the artillery could shell them effectively at that range.

ExudeLoveToAll:
The judiciary is an understatement arm of government are you aware of that? Independent now depending on the executive arm means just one thing which is obeying the executive and that's dangerous to the judiciary.
By law, the judiciary has always been dependent on the executive. It is the executive that appoints judges and remunerates them. That is to prevent judges from becoming the law unto themselves, an important expression of the concept of checks and balances.

KobolanderSegun:
Why did they rename it after Wole Soyinka ? Herbert Ogunde had a more profound effect on the arts than Soyinka did. Remove all Soyinka's activism which has kept him in the public eye and what do you have. He may have won a Nobel prize a century ago but still when last did he write anything ?

Chiuna Achebe was even more revered than Soyinka.

I feel renaming it after Soyinka was a bad move since Soyinka is more activist than writer.
You are not making any iota of sense. You've simply asked a series of weak questions, then proceeded to change the goalposts.

Eg: you claimed Herbet Ogunde had a more profound effect on the arts and state that minus activism Soyinka has nothing to show. Then you remembered he has a Nobel prize for his work and then shifted the argument from his has nothing to show to he has done nothing lately. Should you be a expecting a 90 plus year old man to be delivering fresh work?
