Tokotaya: A few facts: Some South Africans are xenophobic. They do not like the sight of other nationals on their soil because they think that is how come they are jobless. Nigerians are often singled out for hatred because for the most part, they are smarter, more industrious, charming and hard working. A few Nigerians are criminally minded and give the rest of Nigerians a bad name abroad. Above all, regardless of the root cause, hate-mongering should stop. Nigerian and South African govts should collaborate to stop the nonsense. you are right bro |

Politics › Re: Before You Cast Your Vote For/Against Gen.Babangida. . . . . by Smi1(m): 6:45pm On Aug 26, 2010 |
bk.babe97y: I have no stakes in whatever Nigeria becomes after the 2011 elections. I could care less if Nigeria went up in flames tonight. I have friends and family that are Nigerian and I think Nigerians are wonderful people. But,lately, I've found myself questioning why a people so intelligent can also be so st.*upid at the same time. St>upid in the sense that they allow themselves to be kept in deep poverty, while a privileged few holds them to ransom by splitting the nation's booty amongst themselves. What astonishes me even more is the few I see coming to the defence of the corrupt class and even begging them to rule till Jesus comes back a second time.
While nobody can/should force a voter to cast his ballot for a particular candidate, it is imperative that the illiterates in your midst, the folks with short memories, the ones that werent born when certain events occurred in your nation's history, or the friends of the corrupt class are informed and reminded about the past. They are to be reminded that the past is usually a mirror into the future. . . . .
I am not advocating that anyone should be voted for. However, I know who I would vote against if I was a citizen of that (potentially) great country, Nigeria. Below is a video link I enjoin everyone to watch. I have watched only 20 minutes of it, and, believe me, it has been 20 minutes of mouth agape! I hope after watching this video, well meaning/undecided folks will be able to sit back and make well informed decisions when casting their votes on election day.

GboyegaD: I don't have anything against his going for a second time because he has really tried however, I only hope he will consolidate on what he started and ensure that the parts he is neglecting in terms of road infrastructures are visited. Moreso, I hope he will be able to abolish the LCDA structure and revert back to the 20 LGAs so that we can know those to hold responsible at the grassroot level. In most areas, nothing has been done and the high tax imposed on us do not translate to development of our areas as the LCDAs only get allocations and expend it on only God knows what. Finally, Fashola should try to get himself involved in the ways our LGA expend their allocation so that the infrastructural development being carried on in the state can be executed at the grassroot too. you are right ! |

jayrome: @ El razur When God cre8d Adam, Eve was also created as his companion nt Steve. God commanded Noah to fil his arc with two animals of each kind male n female. Everything in d world is created 4 a purpose n to say a man was born to be a woman that's totally blasphemous. Even animals know d right thing. Adultery, fornication n some of other things are wrong but u cannot because these rationalise homosexuality. According to Ebenezer Obey 'wat is bad, is bad' der's no 2 ways abt it. @TUDOR: better pray 4 God's 4giveness, jus because you r trying to make a point or sound cool doesnt mean u should start 2 blaspheme d holiness of God n his son Jesus Christ. brainwashed by white people religion ( Christianity ) ??
