Hello e-friends,

A friend of mine who went through SINP recently got a mail from them asking for contact details of her supervisor and employer among other things. She actually submitted reference in CIC format with letterhead and all. She is planning to scan the complimentary cards of her supervisor and HR manager (who signed the letter).
My question is: Is this also obtainable with EE application? Cos I don't have access to the complimentary card of my HR manager. I am only attaching my CIC format work reference letter on the regular letterhead and some work mails. Hope I am fine?
Tnx.

Thanks dearie.

Pele Smileymum, I kind of figured you were not into tech, I wanted to actually respond to Emmasonic that he was being too harsh but remembered my personal resolution not to ever get into any quarrels on Nairaland and kept quiet. grin smiley smiley.

Happy its sorted, do not worry about the watermark at the bottom, its not an issue.

Emmasonic, I was having issues with downloading the app. But I was able to do it last night. But it's the free version and it keeps showing Camscanner at the bottom of the page. But I will be using it that way. Thanks. E ma binu. I am not a techie person so I am slow with these things.
Emmasonic4me:

You seem to disregard all the recommendations previously given to you. Lots of peeps have advised you use your phone to scan the document and even mentioned the name of the app on play store.

With your phone, you will capture everything and crop out any part you don't need.

Why is it difficult to use your phone for the scanning?

Thanks.
olajide21:

Please use mobile scanner (cam scanner) all the part of the document should be clear and legible
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by smileymum: 1:12pm On Jan 18, 2018
Ok. Thanks.
Deebay:

You can use CamScanner to scan it. Download the app on your phone.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by smileymum: 1:12pm On Jan 18, 2018
Ok. Thanks.
Uzoreen:
Why dont you just scan it with your phone. This way you can be able to adjust it . Download the latest Adobe Acrobat from Play Store. It has a scanner that has been so useful to me through out this process.

Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by smileymum: 1:11pm On Jan 18, 2018
Ok. Thanks. will do that and let you know how it goes.
happytbaby:
Okay, try the phone scanner, it is very easy, you can download 'jetscanner lite', if you find it difficult, inbox me your phone number and I will guide you through.

Cheers.

Thanks happytbaby, See what I mean please. I have tried as you said, but it still cuts off. The 1st picture is showing the "Alagbon Lagos" cut off at the bottom while the second is showing the little finger print cut off a bit from the right. Is any of them ok to use like that? Thanks.
happytbaby:
@ Smileymum, another option is to place it on the scanner such that the white place at the top is slightly out of the range, thus creating more space at the bottom.

Good evening,

I just scanned my PCC and a little part at the bottom of page 2 is not showing clearly (place showing Alagbon Lagos) written by hand, is it going to be a problem or can go ahead with it like this? I tried to rescan and the information showed but a little part of the little finger thumbprint on the right went off. I have tried different positions, none is coming out better. Which of them is better to use? I don't know if I am worrying over nothing, I just want to be double sure. Thanks.

Good morning everyone. I would like to inquire if I need to include the statement of account that came with my RSA reference letter. They attached a 6 page statement of account and made reference to it on the letter. However, the letter already states the total sum and other required details in CIC format.
Should I include the whole statement or just the 1st page that also shows the total amount and my personal info? I dont want my POF documents to be too bulky.
Thank you.

Hi happytbaby. You can PM me.
happytbaby:
Congratulation and thank you for your response to my PM.

Kindly disregard my email, I have just done an extensive search of your posts looking for a particular one and realized that you are not the one that had the same issue I have. I wanted to PM Smileymum, when all of you will be bearing something something 'mum', one is now confused, I will vex and change my moniker to 'happymum' now...

Do have a lovely day.

@ Other ITA and PPR recipients; congratulations

Bsbabe, your suggestion makes sense. But I was actually approving/rejecting the credit requests received from customers through their account officers. I was not market facing. 6235 looks like what a relationship/account officer would do. I was not interfacing with customers directly. Hmm. This thing ain't easy sha. Thanks for your suggestions. You have opened my eyes to this possibility.
Bsbabe:

Smileymum, you are definitely 6235. From your duties below, you sound like a Credit Officer so don’t delay your swimming.

See 6235 below

Thanks Glitteringstar. I guess I just have to put a hold on entering the pool for now till I send the mail and get feedback.

True. She should check NOC 6235 too. She can send an email to HRSDC to ask for their opinion.

Dannio, it's me that asked the question o. Lol. Yes, I was a team lead of a small team sha. Supervised just 2 staff. Not assistant manager. Thanks.
dannio:

Does she play the role of team leader...etc or assistant Manager?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by smileymum: 3:13pm On Nov 30, 2017
Yes, newmum, you are right. But I think I will go with 0122 and pray they don't burst my bubble. Thank you.
Newmum0615:
Going by her post, if I'm correct, I think she wants to go with that but she says she is not on manager level and wonders if she can use that.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by smileymum: 3:12pm On Nov 30, 2017
Thank you dannio, that has always been my choice. I just wanted to be sure it is the exact fit because I am being discouraged to use it being that I am just an officer not a manager in my bank. I guess I will just use it and hope for the best.
dannio:

Take a Good and close look at NOC 0122.l believe that is where you fit in

Thank you. Please see below:

• Review retail credit requests in line with risk acceptance criteria and make recommendations for disbursements
• Liaise with relationship managers and branches on issues raised on every request.
• Ensure that adequate and error-free retail credit documentation are provided and obtained, capturing all the approved terms and conditions and transaction dynamics.
• Ensure adherence to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for loan processing
• Ensure customer’s repayment capacity for every credit request.
• Ensure customer has favorable credit search reports
• Prompt rendition of loan reports weekly
• Ensure compliance with Government policies and regulations on retail credit facilities.

GlitteringStar:

She should choose the NOC occupation that best describes her job responsibilities. MummmyJaygirls said in this post that her job title is Admininstrative Officer but her job description is for HR and she chose HR NOC.

@Smileymum, you can post your job responsibilities here (if you are comfortable with that) so that people can assist you to choose the NOC that matches your job responsibilities.

GlitteringStar:

Choose the NOC occupation that best describes your duties/responsibilities and not necessarily your job title.

Please guys, I have another question. I read on a forum that only people who are on manager level can use NOC 0. I don't have manager in my title at work but the job i did which i want to use falls under NOC 0122.
I approved and signed off on credit requests in risk management. Although I had junior analysts under me, but I was not and still not a manager, just an officer. Is this ok?
Cos I am about to create my profile this morning and I want to be sure I am choosing the right NOC. I had over 3 years experience in that job. The current job I have is NOC A, just 1 year and 7 months, I don't want to use it.
Please help a confused lady out. Thanks.

Good morning my people,

I just got my reference letter from my employer, and it has the address below.

Citizens and Immigrations Canada
Centralized Intake Office.
P.O Box 1450
Sydney, NS B1P 6K5

Is this ok? Cos they said they won't do "To whom it may concern"

Or should it be:

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
Case Processing Center
Centralized Intake Office.
Sydney, Nova Scotia
Canada

I have seen the two addresses on this thread. Or should I just insist on getting "To whom it may concern". Is there any particular benefit?
Thanks.

Ok. Thanks. I am the one disturbing hubby about it. He keeps insisting that it is not a big deal but I no wan hear. I just don't feel the two names are not the same. Evan & Evans drama keeps coming to my mind cheesy.

cochtrane:

You really shouldn't bother. This doesn't look like a big deal. But if you wanna put your mind at rest, go ahead and do the "one and the same person affidavit" earlier referred to.

Good morning everyone, My hubby has a discrepancy with the name on his BSc. For example, let's say his name is Uchenna or Olusegun but his certificate bears Uchechukwu or Oluwasegun, is it correction of name or one and the same person affidavit he is meant to do? The certificate bears the correct middle name though.

The error was from his Jamb admission letter and he used the name like that all through school and throughout his working career. All his other documents bear the correct name Uchenna/Olusegun, Middle Name and surname.

Please help me. Thanks.

Good evening sabi people,
Kudos to all advisers here. I want to ask a question please. I just received reference letter from my former employer but it doesn't include the clause full time employment nor is it stamped with the organization's stamp.
When I complained, they said they have been issuing the letter in the same way to other people and that any attempt to change the details may raise suspicion. They said that is only when the person was a contract staff that they indicate it. What can I do? Can I use the infamous LOE to explain that? Or should I not worry since the job is not part of my primary NOC.
I have over 3 years in the former job and 3 years in the primary NOC. Both jobs have different NOCs.
In addition, is it possible for a previous job to be under NOC C but the primary one (another previous job) to be NOC 0. Both above 3 years and current job NOC A (2 years). Is that acceptable? Asking this one for a colleague.
Best Regards.

Oh really? Is that how it works? So it won't hurt her to not add it to her work history, if she just puts it in her personal history? The first job is NOC C 6551 for Funds Transfer/Customer Service role (3years & more), a different organization, Second & third roles NOC 0 & A respectively, same organization (4 years total). Thanks.
