I already did a Course by Course evaluation with WES which I have submitted in addition to my transcripts
Ifeoma77:
You contact WES and tell them to prepare a new ECA for you, this time; course by course.
You'll pay for it (about $100)

I submitted my evaluated document by document transcript from WES to EGBC and I was told to submit a syllabus/Course description:

Document Request: Syllabus/Course description [Lagos]
· Document Request: Syllabus/Course description [Lagos]

Hi Guys is there anyone living in BC or any province who has submitted their transcripts to the local Engineering body for evaluation and been told to submit a syllabus/Course description. If yes, how were you able to go about it?

thanks

At bold yes, there is absolutely nothing to worry about, inform IRCC via CSE immediately after your marriage. nothing is going to implicate your app. your spouse will just need MED and PCC, you might have to update your POF too if what you submitted cant cover for 2 of you. Happy married life in advance. and if the eagle lands before your marriage, you can still add your spouse. at any point you add her she wont need IELTS or ECA. all the best

Hey guys, I have a question, I submitted my application in August and my app is showing medical Passed. Maybe IP2 but these things are not fixed tho based on trends. I am getting married this December, when is the best time to inform CIC? Also If CIC does not get back to me till after marriage will it affect my application when I include my spouse or my score has been locked after (ITA/E-APR).
PS:she has not done IELTS or ECA.

Has anyone been in this situation or added a family member or gotten married after they have submitted their application but before PPR.

I look forward to comments

Cos you have previously applied as a temporary resident to Canada and you have done a biometrics before. They usually last for 10 years from when you first get it done
ItzBlazing:
Please, does anyone know why a biometrics date might be back dated? Mine is, and I dont know what to do?

Hello Guys,

It's actually been a while since i posted anything or checked this forum been busy with trying to settle down and get things done here in a new environment like Canada. For those who got delayed, there is one message I have for you all, Canada is worth the hype and I can tell you that the land mass is very wide and equal opportunity for everyone once you are here. There are lots of Chinese here followed by Indians, well the reason for this I don't know even my class has a larger population of Indians and Chinese than others although they try to be multi-racial and inclusive. Don't give up guys and I heard the Prime Minister is a great guy (Justin Trudeau) who replaced Harper. I don't know who I am cheering p or inspiring with this but giving up is accepting defeat but failing and re-trying though it's hard but is looking for other ways to get the job done and the joy of success is...........

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by snoop4dem: 1:50pm On Jul 15, 2016
Can you pls expantiate on what you mean by convincing docs. I already suggested quite a numner to her like CAC, tax clearance, Visa page, company's receivables, in addition to the sponsorship and introduction letter, I will appreciate additional information or docs of the company that shld be included in the app. Please we intend to re-apply next week monday or Tuesday by God's grace
CassetteBoy:
2-3wks max after official resumption.
why didn't she use you as sponsor? Her employer has to provide convincing documents to show intent of sponsorship and probably pay part of her fees through their own account.

I'm heading to UofT too, see y'all there!

Hi guys, my fiancee's application was delayed yesterday as a result of insufficient funds. She used her employer as sponsor and the VO thinks she wont be able to study in canada without having to work. We intend to re-apply cos we dont give up, my question is does any one know the deadline in which students must resume after the official resumprion date. She is going for an LLM in university of Toronto. I would appreciate response from those who are already in Canada or in Toronto and are very familiar with resumption dates amd deadlines

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by snoop4dem: 8:22am On Jul 09, 2016
Hi Prince, When I applied my statement of account was less than 100,000. in fact to be factual it was around 71, 000 but I had a good sponsor and a well constructed Letter of sponsorship from my sponsor. I think the focus should be on how you write your letter of sponsorship to convince the VO. This is just mine opinion and not the mind of the VO. And less i forget to add, by God's grace my app was approved
princeade09:
Greetings to everyone in the house. I have a question that could benefit many people here, any opinion is welcome.

Somebody is working somewhere and he is paid monthly though the salary is low due to the fact that it is a form of family work. Therefore the person has a bank account which reflects some monthly fixed savings. So at the time of application, the person's account is very very low, let say the person has no money available in the account, do you think the person could be denied visa though the sponsor is financially good and all the documents from the sponsor is good and ready, do you think the person could be denied visa on the ground of personal asset and financial status?

Just speak out your mind, any opinion is important

This is false information. My CGPA was lower than 2.9 and I got admission for a masters program in canada. The chances are slim but not impossible

If I were you, I'd state the actual tuition, add 15k for room and board, add 8k for other expenses and miscellaneous. Total would be about thirty to forty something thousand depending on your tuition. That would be the same as my funds available for duration of stay based on a 2yr stay.
Hi, Ziggy there is no right or wrong ways to fill this forms, everyone just answers based on their knowledge or probably their approval or refusal of people generally. The tuition fee is stated explicily, your accomodation is also specified which is room and board, every other fee ur paying is an ancilliary fee and should come under others.
Your money for stay is 10,000 cad per year which should also stand out.
My own suggestion is that If you have a sponsor in his sponsorship letter he can state that he has paid the minimum deposit and paid additional money for the next session to show his commitment. he should list his dependants and those who are not with evidence and if possible a reference letter from the bank.
It's what I will have done but it does not mean it is the correct or the straight jacket approach to it

OGIYEN:
When you submitted employment letter, did you state in your SOP that your job is waiting for you or what did you write or you just added it?.
Thanks
Nope I did not, all I did was submit concrete evidences that I have been working(Employment letter, ID card, payslip, ceritficates of trainings with my company et all) with my CV.
PS: I did not put an introduction letter from my employer as they are not sponsoring me and I dont want them to know until it is approved.

Congrats.....please share the docs you submitted.
Satutory forms for paper application
letter of sponsorship (dad)
statement of acct of sponsor and mine own to show I am engaged
admission letters and university docs and transcripts
certificates of trainings attended
TOEFL

employment letter
payslip
ID card
police clearance cert
Property in Nigeria to show home ties

Marriage certificate and Birth Cert of all family members to show my elder ones are independent and my dad can afford to sponsor me without affecting others
God (This is the most important of all this.) No matter the docs you submit, it is all about God

Hi Guys, thanks for the support in this group. I checked my CIC account now and I saw that my application has been approved. I hope those who are still expecting theirs will share testimonies soon. It was a long wait between April 11th, submission date, April 19th medical date and 24th June application approval date.

Hello guys, there is an issue bothering my mind concerning my application. I am currently employed an I intend to disclose it in my application but I doubt if my employer will give me a letter of reference and I don't even intend to inform my employer of my plans till I get my visa by God's grace. I need advice on what to do. My contract of employment does not make provisions for study leave so I don't know if I can just attach my letter of employment and pay slips without a letter from my employer. I need expert advice biko.
This was what I actually did also. I just put all necessary docs to show I am in an employment without the introduction letter since my employer is not sponsoring me
