what types of visas do you assist in processing? Does it give permission to work as that would be vital. I would definitely chose Brazil over venezuela as that country is poverty stricken. I know from first hand experience. |
@ all what are your views and personal experiences of racism and xenophobia in Ukraine? |
If you are from Bini and living in Birmingham UK, and judging from your antecedent and histrionics in this forum, i believe i know your real identity. |
dayokanu:it is not bias if they are active posters in sports even if they are moderators in other sections. but it creates friction and conflict of interest if they openly support a particular team and they are expected to moderate in sports. |
@ 190 where are you from? |
wa hia be vba rhu |
You tell me. Nothing wrong for Seun to support any team. Or for a mod. in Autos to have a favourite car, one in Literature best book, etc. But to avoid an atmosphere of suspicion and douse allegations of bias [ie, unfairly deleting and censoring posts with opposing views, bans and suspensions], is it not better to keep such matters to yourself [and not as a signature for example]? Its simply professionalism. NL surely has attained that level. |
at the last two posters. Important points you have raised. First off all, moderators are humans like us, not machines or computers. They have the right to hold their own opinion and agree on an allegiance in all facets of their life. When was the last time you saw a traditional ruler openly campaigning for a political party? Or a football referee wearing the jersey of the club he supports to a match he is supposed to officiate? Don't get me wrong, these people are humans afterall, they do have groups/teams they hold their devotion to, but this is kept within their closet and it should not becloud in anyway their decision making. This debate throws into the open the way moderators in this forum have been conducting themselves. How can you expect fairness from moderators in their duties as arbiters when all know where their loyalties lie? Surely people on the other side of the fence should expect stricter judgement and harsher punishments. I know some persons involved have been too emotional when putting forward their case but the fundamental truth is that they are right. I would not expect a fair hearing from a jury comprised of members of the ku klux klan in a case of alledged racism. Food for thought anyway. |
To get banned for " talking about a moderator" is senseless. Even Mortals talk about their gods and don't get struck by thunder. This is a perfectly reasonable observation. The admin simply has to say moderators need not make secret their personal views viz politics, religion, etc and everyone would move on. Being authoritative is no weakness rather it's when you become authoritarian. |
put on your best trainers and run like you have never done before |

Alj Uche:i see you are a CPC supporter yourself. |
why dont you post the full link? |
guy calm down. you raised an important point in your previous thread. why should a moderator openly support a political party. that surely is not neutrality and would compromise her functions as an impartial judge here. |
every child is a gift from God. the miracle of pregnancy and delivery is too beautiful for words. |
15m. omo thats too much o |
A member 5columnist raised an important point that one of the moderators on the politics thread Aisha2 is politically biased. She is openly supporting Buhari and Bakare in the April 2011 polls. Surely that cannot be right. Someone who is supposed to moderate a section so sensitive as politics is clearly favouring a particular group over others. She is not neutral and this goes against what a moderator should stand for. Sadly rather than debate her stance she locked posters thread. This smacks of tyranny and abuse of power. Please the admin team should look into this as a matter of urgency. |

@ udoagwu now under which rock have you crawled under. Come on out and defend you criminal governor friend. |
the beginning of the end of pique. now he can no longer concentrate on football as he would become engrossed in a celebrity culture which goes against everything barcelona |

udoagwu:If your Ohakim or whatever is the superman you say he is you would not resort to insults and name calling just because someone questions your claims. This sort of propaganda you are spewing should be directed at the uninformed and ignorant minds similar to yours i must say in your village and not somewhere like this where you should have expected some degree of scrutiny. My advice to you is to go get a proper job, a respectable one. Not a political tout. Your mentors have their children overseas receiving the best education and lifestyle while you are here bursting your brains which apparently seems to be missing. |
MandingoII:Do you mean Iran of Afghanistan? |
I only see a picture. A snapshot of a piece of history. It is not enough information to judge the organisation or even comparative neatness. You on the other hand seem rather myopic. How on earth can you applaud a sitting governor for cleaning up a few square metres in a state of several thousand acres. Is that the yardstick for deciding success in Imo state? I am no kill joy, but surely the people of the state deserve more after four years. |
do you know when this programme would be airing on ITV? |
Nigerians wait for the sales before doing serious shopping and carefully chose the shops they buy from. They dont do reckless shopping as most brits would. |

thank you. at least there is something concrete people can deal with. |
they may not have coined the term but they have made it theirs |
