I agree with op, our GOD is full of holiness and man does not dictate to him how to run the affairs of the universe, rather he created man out of love and gave man freedom to choose between good and evil with a reward for good choices and purnishment for evil choices. Atheists me simple message for you is this GOD is GOD and the wisdom or knowledge of man is nowhere close to GOD, years ago you were totally dependent all of a sudden you grew developed and feel you know so much and challenge divinity just because it doesn't conform to your new acquired knowledge or wisdom, be careful. The ways of GOD is beyond answering I am a Christian, open your mind and go in humility with your doubts in prayers and he will reveal himself to you.
