Guest911:How long does it take to process form A on the average? |
I work remotely for a company outside the country. Is that a home ties red flag? If so, what advice would you give? Cc Frankrobbn1, Makano, Justmellow, Lekiboboe, johnstan and other gurus in the house. |
johnstan:Thank you John. |
socially4fun:Any suggestions here would really be appreciated. |
Hello gurus in the house. I have a dollar dorm account with enough funds for my full tuition and upkeep. But there are no regular transactions on the account. Once in a while I might deposit or withdraw, but not as frequently as my regular naira accounts. Question is, will it be good to use as POF? Or should I use GIC? |
bepositive11:Noted. Thank you. |
Kikivanxx:Thank you ![]() |
Apologies if this question has been asked before, if it has, please point me to an answer. Is it advisable to close existing express entry application before applying for study permit? |
Hello everyone. I will need your advice before I take any decision. I got an admission for winter 2023. The admission notification came late and I've been trying to gather all the documents before I apply for study permit. I got a medical date for 12th October and I plan on applying via NSE immediately after. A friend advised that I pay the tuition via Flywire ASAP so that before the 12th, it would have reflected as Flywire can take some time. Now the issue is, I have been told here that there is nothing like NSE for Nigerians currently due to the backlog, and I might not get a decision before January. Is it advisable to go ahead and pay the tuition, apply for study permit and inform the school of visa delays? Or not paying the tuition and defer the admission to Spring? Thank you. |

![]() Debbieeeeeee:I remember you from an express entry thread. Your moniker is not one to miss. You advised I remark my IELTS then to clinch maximum points. ![]() I just want to be proactive instead of waiting and hoping. That's why I'm trying school option. Time is going and age is counting. |
Debbieeeeeee:I'm in the pool. Been there since 2020. My CRS is 468 and the current cut off is high. |
Frankielilbaby:Interesting. I think I'd just have to defer the admission to May. Thanks for your input. Also, what is the validity of the medicals? |
Betterlife30:I plan on applying through NSE, and an upfront medicals is part of the requirement. |
Hello everyone. I have a Q Life Lagos medical appointment for October 12th. I need to do it earlier. I am not sure, but if it is possible, I would like to swap with someone with an earlier date. I just got admission for January and I'm a bit behind schedule. Thank you. |
onegig:Oh, thanks so much. I do have an IELTS with lower CLB, but it drops the CRS to 410 |
Hi Everyone. I joined the EE pool in December last year, my CRS is 468. The score is not so high, and I fear the minimum CRS when FSW draw resumes would be higher. Now I'm thinking of going the PNP route. I'm in tech, and I have been expecting to get PNP nomination, but I have not gotten any. I read somewhere that just by being in the pool, provinces like Ontario would invite me for PNP. A friend of mine was invited just by being in the pool. Now that I want to actively pursue PNP, what are the things I need to know and requirements I need to possess. Links or comments would be appreciated. Apologies if this has been asked before. Thanks |
Hi Everyone, I wrote my IELTS on the 25th of November and I want to request a remark. I've sent them an email to that effect but no reply yet. Is it advisable to download the EOR form, fill it in and send it to their email address, along with proof of payment? Or should I wait for them to reply my initial email before doing anything? Question 2, can mobile transfer screenshot serve as proof of payment? Last and most important question, can I even still apply for EOR. I know they said 6 weeks after test date, but one cannot be so sure how they do their counting. Let it not be that I go and pay money for EOR that I'm not eligible for. |
Debbieeeeeee:Thank you Debbie! |
Debbieeeeeee:Thank you! I hope you won't be offended by my next question, but I just want clarity. What if I apply for a remark and remain in the pool, and while waiting for the outcome, I get invited. And the IELTS remark changes my score. Will I be able to update my profile after ITA has been given on the previous result? |
Debbieeeeeee:Thank you so much. But after I have applied and waiting for the EOR verdict, can I remain in the pool with the old TRF? Or do I withdraw my EE application after applying for a remark? |
Hi everyone, I really appreciate the contents here. I have a question and would need your advice. I recently wrote IELTS on the 25th of November and the score came out 9/9/7/7 - L/R/W/S. My CRS score with that result is 468. The current minimum CRS score for the last EE draw is 468, but I did not get invited because of the tie breaking rule. The question now is, do I apply for a remark of my IELTS so I can get a score of 471 or above and stand better chance for ITA, or do I wait in the hope that the minimum score drops further in the next draw? Also, if I apply for IELTS remark, do I need to withdraw my EE application? I'm saying that because I'm not sure the TRF would be valid for use during the EOR process. |
But I don't get it. Here is someone giving out a rich content for FREE. A content so rich it has kept many of us glued to this site since 2017. I doubt if Centino has gotten a dime from the Nairaland team for his efforts. Rather, he's been receiving discouraging ban after ban. I recall, this is not the first time he's getting banned. Admin or Mod, whoever you are, you better lift off the Centino's ban. Now! Don't make thousands of readers who'd come here today for another episode get frustrated because of your bias and incompetence. BTW, Centino, you are a good writer. Please don't be deterred. Keep up with the good work. And if you ever consider leaving this frustrating platform, please carry your readers along. I've been a "liker" since 2017. It's not my intention for my first comment to be this way, but, situation critical. |

This is a classic piece. It is poetic and has deep psychological lessons attached. This post is awesome. You write well and think deep. You killed it bae. |
