An interesting article sent in by a social writter read below...

I haven't read the book '50 shades of grey' and I didn't see the need to (books ain't my thing + it was 450 pages of little words) but then I got the movie from a neighbour who said the movie was showing at the cinema. I mean the hash tag were every where and I was bent on knowing what that movie contained. So I put on my system and with drink and oreos in hand I laid back to watch the almighty ' 50 Shades of Grey'

Christian Grey who should be a sophisticated, intelligent, handsome 27 year old man was Crazy about an ordinary girl like Anastasia Steele. For the whole movie I felt Anastasia connection to this man, he was a perfect description of ' PERFECT'. (Leave out the money aspect o). Remember he kept saying ' I don't do romance' but every thing he did, everything he said ,every breath he took exuded a large amount of ROMANCE. big time! Half the time I was in a trance + the sex scenes got me thinking could a man really love a woman like this?? The most fascinating thing about this movie was 'The Contract'. Was he so business like that he had to put terms and conditions to his love life?? Tragic isn't it?? + he wouldn't let me touch him' wahala for dey. Well I did watch the movie to the end and wished Bae was around buh.... I really need me a Christian Grey + it gives me hope that girls as dorky as me could get a billionaire to fall in love with us. All hope is not lost ooo.. Till next time.

All this 'oyinbo' people will not kill somebody...lol. An aquarium worker gave his girlfriend a surprise with an underwater marriage proposal when he asked the question from inside a shark tank.
The worker at Sea Life Aquarium in Tempe, identified as Evan Dresler, enlisted the help of colleagues at the facility to have his girlfriend, Jessica, brought to the tank where sharks and eels are kept so he could surprise her by unfolding a sign with his marriage proposal.
“Of all the fish in the sea, you are the only one for me. Jessica, will you marry me?” the sign read..... and yes! Jessica enthusiastically accepted the proposal, she said Yes!

The city of Warri has been relatively peaceful compared to some years back when people dread Warri and its environs. The people of Uvwie community in Warri took the city back to what it is known for 'violence' but this time for a cause. The Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun a federal government owned technical institution established to provide technical training for those in the oil and gas Industry headed by Mr. Jacob Erukele (Principal) and Mrs. Angela Ewere (Registrar) started a recruitment process last year December.

The host Community has allegedly sent warnings to the management of the institute before the commencement of the recruitment to be given about 10% slots but the management didn’t heed to their warnings. Read more and view more pics after the cut...

Today March 12 the host community started a protest at around 4am all gates to the institute were barricaded staff and students were prevented from gaining entry, also residents of the institute were prevented from leaving the institute. Protesters which include both young and old were seen carrying placards.

Deduction from Inscriptions on placards were that the Principal of the institute employed his family and friends leaving both qualified people and the merited ones out, also that the some of the new in takes didn’t even participate in any of the recruitment process but were given appointment letter. According to a community youth; this was part of what angered the host community aside the slots they weren’t given, some said the north had more employed candidate than the south.

Speaking with one of the youths with a placard that had “Mr. Joseph Erukele principal of PTI is a drunkard he misbehaves” inscription on it. Speaking in Pidgin English the Principal drinks a lot that’s why he made such irrational decision, chose his people and sold out the remaining slots. He said.

The priest in charge of the community shrine who reported doesn’t come out of the shrine was present at the protest. A dog was sacrificed to their gods at the main entrance of the institute the head was placed on a coffin with its blood used to make signs on a white piece of cloth which signifies war.

Mrs. Emeordi a highly ranked Federal Road Safety Corps official (F.R.S.C) with one of her subordinates pictured above ordering a job applicant out of the interview venue. This article was sent in by a social writter who claims that job applicants were maltreated, beaten and brutalized during an interview conducted by the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (F.A.A.N) controlled by F.R.S.C officials. He managed to snap two pictures and get the name of the official (Mrs. Emeordi) who gave the order. Read article below...

Just as it is a norm after the Bachelor’s degree you proceed to participate in the compulsory National Youth Service Corp (N.Y.S.C) program. During this program you apply for jobs in order to secure a job before the program ends. If you are well connected you don’t have to have to go through the long process of getting a job, immediately after this program you are fixed up. I had finished my NYSC for over a year still unable to secure a job. I have applied to quite a number of jobs; few called me for interviews some replied that I wasn’t qualified. Keeping my fingers crossed not losing hope despite the situation in the country where only those on the side of the ruling political party and their praise singers get noticed and eat the good of the land in real time.
