Christianity EtcRe: Sixth And Seventh Books Of Moses - The Power Source For Our Miracle Pastors by socrateez(m): 11:30pm On Nov 10, 2013
The so-called 6th & 7th books of Moses were not written by Moses but the occult masters who wrote the book attributed it to Moses to hide their identity and seek for relevance and acceptance. From the posts above, it's obvious that it is a book of magical incantations and conjurations, despicable acts condemned by God and concerning which He specifically warned Israel not to participate in Canaan. Anyone who possesses this book should know that all satans apples have worms. stocking occultic books have repercussions so I advise you dispose them off.

Car TalkRe: Mercedes Benz Thread by socrateez(m): 6:03pm On Nov 09, 2013
I drive an E230 1995 Benz but I have problem with the AC. Two technicians have examined it with each person giving different verdict. One said it's the condenser, the other said its the compressor. Please, can anyone give me phone no of a reliable and technically sound AC technician?
Also, the wireless key entry has packed up and someone is charging me 100k to replace it (imagine). I need help please.
BusinessRe: New Tricks Used By Filling Station's Pump Attendant by socrateez(m): 11:37pm On Oct 16, 2013
Having stayed in the northern part of the country for a very long time, I am familiar with the criminal attempts of petrol attendants over there. Its a norm over there so I am extra careful when I visit fuel stations in Lagos. So when the attendant in Mobil/Mr Biggs/ Oregun tried to con me, he had his hands full. All attendants in that filling station should be sacked because is a grand conspiracy once a motorist drives into the station. Every attempt is made to distract your attention so as to cheat you. I don't advise anyone to buy fuel from that station unless you have you boxing gloves by your side.
RomanceRe: Childhood Habits That Affect Your Relationship Now by socrateez(m): 11:35pm On Oct 14, 2013
Cykik: I do feel isolatd. I only talk 2pple am close 2. Nd i dnt see any real pesn 2shear my deepest feelins.so i do prefer 2stay alone rather than feeling 2disgrace my self. A hard lyf it is. A world of ur own bt smpple tinks am crazy.
You have to work on yourself or get a mentor to help you. Its difficult to find a young man who can handle the challenge you'd bring into a relationship. I know you're not crazy, you just need a matured person to help you.
FamilyRe: Are You Enjoying Your Marriage? by socrateez(m): 3:35pm On Oct 10, 2013
I've been married for twenty six years and I'm loving every day of it, not because its been a roller-coaster but the twists and turns have added to the adventure. Its unfortunate that many young people don't know what to look for in a partner in the first instance, so they are attracted to the cosmetic and the euphemeral and when the thrill of wedding dissipates, they are confronted with reality. This is why marital infidelity and divorce is so rampant. Marriage, when contracted by two people who choose to allow the Bible regulate their conduct at home and the larger society can be nothing but a taste of heavenly bliss. The way you build a house is the way a hoe is built, it 's not automatic neither can it be legislated.
With three lovely children, two of whom are graduates, I cannot ask for anything more from my marriage. If I had to live my life all over again, I would happily choose my wife.
Christianity EtcRe: Death Of Church Members: How Does Your Church React? by socrateez(m): 2:31pm On Oct 05, 2013
I am a member of Foursquare Gospel Church and I can tell we participate fully in the burial of our members. My branch lost a member earlier in the year and 75% of the members were attended the burial ceremony outside Lagos. In fact, members sponsored themselves to the venue. Your point is true that some churches don't acknowledge the brevity of life and the fact of death. A friend left his former church because the pastor said the members don't attend burials. it just shows how gullible Nigerians have become, living a life of delusion and fantasy.
FamilyRe: Why Are Fathers Overprotective Of Their daughters? by socrateez(m): 11:10pm On Sep 25, 2013
I also protect my girl but not to the extent of peeping at her phone or bb messages. I think that would be too much. More importantly, i make her understand that the reason I do that is for her own good. I allow guys to visit her so that I can know who her friends are and I can give her fatherly counsel. Recently, a guy requested that he wanted to take her out but i refused because it was his first visit after meeting my daughter on 2go. I explained that i didn't know him well enough to commit my girl into his care. there was no way of tracing him if he did anything funny. I consider this as mimimum protection which I must give as a father. In any case, she fully understands every action I take to shield her from hawks but I don't also overdo it so that she does not become rebellious. A father's protection is based on love, it's not meant to dominate the daughter's life.
FamilyRe: Getting Married As An Undergraduate by socrateez(m): 8:52pm On Sep 24, 2013
I know a lady who got married in school while studying law. She finished in 2008 after spending 10 years in ABU. She has not attended law school till today. The risk is too high to marry while in school. It would have been ok if you both agree not to make any baby till you finish but that's not in our character in this environment. The husband family may skin you alive!
Think very well and don't compare yourself with those who said they did the same while in school. In any case, the final decision rests with you so its up to you.
BusinessRe: UBA: What's Killing Your Great Brand?-A FOLLOW UP AFTER MEETING UBA GROUP by socrateez(m): 10:09pm On Sep 10, 2013
I had to abandon my account with UBA because of their poor service. I had an account with STB also in Minna before it became UBA. Its obvious the bank has lost its focus probably because they have enough customers. I issues a check to a colleague and when he tried to cash it, I was contacted to confirm it which I did promptly. For three hours my friend was waiting in the banking hall for cash. When he called me I had to call the bank and I was told they were waiting for my account officer to confirm the check. UBA makes simple banking operation so cumbersome and frustrating. I've tried to use thei AM and found the same problem. Try the ATM on Awolwo way, close to Shoprite in Ikeja. you will be lucky to be able to retrieve your card after inserting it. The truth is UBA needs to wake up.
RomanceRe: Why Are Some Married People Addicted To Social Network Sites? by socrateez(m): 1:23pm On Mar 25, 2013
Being on 2go at 11pm does not mean the man is chatting with a gf, he could be chatting with any of his children. I don't think being on social networks for a married man implies that he has issues with his family. Its unfortunate that young people think they are the only ones entitled to fun. I met an elderly person on yahoo messenger in those days who proved to be matured and even assisted me to overcome the challenges I was facing. I've lost contact with him but he was extremely useful to me. I think Nairaland needs people like that so that young folks can learn from their wealth of experience. They can mentor some of us and guide us to make intelligent mature decisions.
FamilyRe: How Often Do You Talk To Your Parents? by socrateez(m): 10:48am On Mar 20, 2013
What makes children remember their parents when they leave home is the love and acceptance they had while growing up. Though only my Mum is alive, she didn't bring me and my siblings up with that. Each of us lived our different lives from birth so there's no connection now that we're grown up and its has backfired on her; no one bothers to call her. Her monthly upkeep does not fail but to call.....forget it.
Parents pls take note.
