When my aged father fell into the net of Fraudsters, it was Abba Kyari that saved his life. My father is the OLDEST man in my Clan and has been battling all kinds of age related diseases. If it wasn't for the kind intervention of DCP Abba Kyari, my father would have died a long time ago because he had borrowed money from his fellow pensioners to invest in what he later discovered was a scam.

DCP Abba Kyari didn't only bring justice on the criminals, he followed up on my father's health every day.
First thing in the morning, DCP Abba Kyari would phone my father and say "Daddy, you have no reason to worry, the criminals will bring your money back." And that was exactly what happened. The criminals were arrested and they returned every cent to my father and my father in turn paid the other pensioners what he borrowed from them.
DCP Abba Kyari spent his personal money, airtime etc on that case. When I asked if I should take care of his AIRTIME, he declined and said to me "Charles, what we do is for God, our nation and humanity".
Up to this moment, I have NEVER sent DCP Abba Kyari one kobo... But whenever I shared security concerns with him, he paid attention to it. He regularly shared messages of his team's exploits via whatsapp and he showed great passion for his job. The reward was that he emerged the most decorated Police Chief in Nigeria.

Yesterday, the first person who called me to discuss the indictment of DCP Abba Kyari was my father. He said to me "my son, let us pray for Abba Kyari. I am alive today because of this young man. He didn't allow me to be put to shame. I owe him my prayers at a time like this."
Now that you know how much I love and respect DCP Abba Kyari, let me delve into the merits of the indictments and share some lessons....
First, in my personal capacity as a Cybersecurity Expert, I knew that Hushpuppi was a fraud. By close observation, I knew he was involved in internet scam. I said this many years before he was arrested.

I understand the passion and compassion of DCP Abba Kyari and I also know that what is a strength on one hand can be a weakness on the other hand. This is the major lesson you should take home - your kindness can be a strength but also a weakness... Your ability to build friendships with both the poor and rich can be a strength and also a weakness.
Abba Kyari is not a friend of only the rich, he is a friend of the poor, the old and the young. This was his greatest strength but also his greatest weakness.
Hushpuppi took advantage of that strength and used it as a weakness to control, manipulate and now drag him into his mess.
Having studied the communication between Hushpuppi and our brother DCP Abba Kyari, I know for sure that the FBI wants his head on a plate.... I know the FBI... I understand their mentality... My job brings me in the way of major security agencies around the world and I am trained to understand how they operate individually.

At this point, the FBI is not after Abba Kyari but the entire Nigerian Police Force. The FBI is angry with how the Nigerian Police treats wealthy internet Fraudsters and they feel that by going for our most decorated, they will achieve their aim. If you study the US �� court report, you will understand that the indictment wasn't actually on DCP Abba Kyari but on the Nigerian Police and the alleged monetary transactions were not paid to Abba as a person but an entire Police Team.
Now the FBI knows that they can't go for an entire team of the Police force of a sovereign nation so they are using the media to blow hot on the team. Just in case you don't know, the Nigerian Government will do her best to protect her most decorated officer because by so doing, they are also protecting the NPF. The same way that FBI will not deliver their agent to Nigeria to answer to any allegation, is the same way Nigeria will resist delivering Abba Kyari to the FBI.
While we condemn the relationship DCP Abba Kyari maintained with Hushpuppi, we must also understand that he too was manipulated by Hushpuppi. The court papers revealed that Hushpuppi told him that Vincent is taking his job (the job wasn't specified)... Remember that Hushpuppi packaged himself as a Real Estate investor, Influencer who was a brand ambassador to many top brands including Gucci.

Those who got closer to him like Daddy Freeze were manipulated to believe his lies... I believe DCP Abba Kyari may have been a victim of Hushpuppi's manipulation. A mutual friend told me that DCP Abba Kyari always thought that Hushpuppi was wrongly labeled by those who didn't understand him... Hushpuppi had a way of convincing everyone around him that he was legit. He was good with words and manipulation.
This is why I choose to stay far from MONIED NIGERIANS who became wealthy over night..... I don't want to get close because I know that by getting close, you will have the opportunity to manipulate me, so I stay away.
In conclusion, I know DCP Abba Kyari will come out of this season stronger and wiser. Like my father, he has helped many aged pensioners to get justice and have fought for justice for those whose loved ones were kidnapped by the likes of Wadume and Evans. DCP Abba Kyari is not what the FBI and media are making him to look like.... Evans could have paid him Billions of Naira... Wadume could have paid even more..... But he chose to bring these Billionaire suspects to justice.

While I am grossly disappointed by his relationship with Hushpuppi, I still believe that he will have a second chance to separate himself from these events and focus on the huge responsibility that Nigeria has placed on him.
May we all learn how to disconnect from people who do not share our values because a day may come when they would drag us into their mess... Before you condemn Abba Kyari, ask yourself, DO I HAVE A FRIEND WHO IS A YAHOO BOY, A DRUG DEALER OR FALSE PROPHET? If yes, disconnect from such because even if you are HONEST, one day, the crimes of those people will destroy your good name, values and good work... And people will forget all the years you have been honest and righteous.

I once had a friend who I later discovered was involved in crimes, I disconnected from him immediately. He got arrested in Johannesburg on a day he was driving with another mutual friend.. Both he and that mutual friend are in jail today. The mutual friend knows nothing about his crime. He used to talk about Jobs, jobs, etc so if you are not critical, you will think he's legit. He is serving jail time but unfortunately, he took another naive friend down with him.
This is why I choose to be CRITICAL.... I don't see the 'doings' in Oba and just celebrate 'Grace'.. No. I critically analyze before I connect or agree. You can call me jealous but it being critical has saved me. If you post cash, I stay away from you - it's my policy. Be careful.. Don't be naive... Be intentional... Be critical. Learn from these events and don't ever celebrate the pains of a man who may have been manipulated by a criminal friend.

A regular member of God of Truth Covenant Evangelical Church, OLUWATOSIN Adegoke allegedly got tired of his church’s purported deceit over false prophecies has set his Church ablaze.

28-year-old Adegoke was said to have got tired of the church’s purported deceit over false prophecies and burnt down the church located at Akinbolade Street, off Arobaba Street, Idimu area of Lagos State. Adogoke had been a member of the church for several years but his condition worsened.
According to the residents, Adegoke alleged that the owner of the church, a prophet was fake as prophecies issued to him were unfulfilled and his condition worsened. He then ordered the prophetess to close the church but she ignored him. He allegedly took a substance suspected to be premium motor spirit (petrol) to the church and set it ablaze.

All the property inside the church, public address system and chairs got burnt including musical equipment.
After causing the damage to the church building, Adegoke waited in front of the church until he was arrested by police operatives from Area ‘M’ Command, Idimu, for arson.
During interrogation, the prophet claimed Adegoke was mentally ill and that was why he went to burn the church. But Adegoke denied any mental illness and asked the police to inquire from the cleric.

Supreme Court on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 affirmed Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) as the Governor of Ondo State having dismissed the appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and it's candidates, Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) against the election of the incumbent Governor.

In a Majority Judgment the Apex court held that it is not in dispute that governor Buni is the acting chairman of the party in breach of section 183 of the constitution.
The appeal was based on the ground that Mai Mala Buni was holding position as the acting chairman of APC while a governor.
Governor Buni was not made a party as he was the center of the issue.

The governor who was alleged to have breach the constitution ought to have been made a party in the petition to answer to the allegations.
The court affirms the decision of the lower court that the petition was incompetent.
In a dissenting judgment Justice Mary Odili held that the APC submitted the name of Rotimi Akeredolu to INEC through its nomination form signed governor Buni who is a sitting governor.

Justice Ibrahim Saulawa also adopted the minority Judgment.

After the parade, she urged residents of Osun State to always report any suspicious movements and acts of criminalism in their neighborhood to the Police to bring a lasting peace to Osun State.

A beloved member of your kitchen cabinet and Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, had, in a sermon years before he became minister, openly expressed views sympathetic to the notorious al-Qaeda group and Boko Haram, describing the slain al-Qaeda leader, Osama bin Laden, a worthy Muslim. Pantami also expressed happiness that infidels were being massacred.

Instead of investigating Pantami to check if he had been truly deradicalised or not, the Presidency rose stoutly to his defence, and said the leopard has changed its spots.
I, Igboho, didn’t say one-hundredth of what Pantami said. Today, Pantami is a free man but I and the supporters of my cause are being hounded by your regime. Two members of my family were killed when DSS attacked my house. This nepotistic attitude is unbecoming of a father, mujin Aisha.

Yoruba Nation agitator and activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho once said any attempt by young men of the South-West to protect themselves from killer herders will have grievous consequences as it will draw the wrath of President Muhammadu Buhari, who is Fulani.

In a 2019 video obtained by SaharaReporters, Igboho predicted that the Buhari-led government will frown on efforts by Yoruba people to protect themselves even though the government had not tried to stop the activities of Boko Haram militants in the North.
Igboho, in the video, stated this as the reason for his refusal to defend Yorubaland despite the role he played in the Ife-Modakeke crisis.
He added that there are also people from his ethnic nationality who are likely to betray him if he doesn't apply wisdom in the agitations.
He noted that if truly Yoruba leaders want to stop the killings by Fulani herdsmen, they should convene a meeting where a document is signed notifying the world that Yoruba leaders have asked freedom fighters to defend all parts of Yorubaland.

”There are young men who are willing to protect their land, they will never flee, but it requires wisdom. We can't just mobilise young men to go and start protecting our people from being kidnapped, it requires wisdom.

Igboho is currently detained in Benin Republic after security operatives arrested him on Monday following an alert the Nigerian government issued to its West African counterparts.
Before then, on July 1, operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) stormed Igboho's house in Ibadan, Oyo State, killing two of his associates and arresting 12 others.
Igboho was able to escape but the government declared him wanted.

Ibrahim Salami, one of Igboho's lawyers, disclosed that the agitator was being accused of stockpiling weapons.

The lawyer also said the Nigerian government accused the freedom fighter of calling for secession and disturbing the country.
Salami said, “The Nigerian government said Igboho was involved in arms trafficking into Nigeria.
“The second one is that he is causing disturbances in Nigeria and the third one is that he is trying to divide Nigeria into two or three.”

▪︎ Yesterday, the court set Mrs. Adeyemo, lgboho's wife free since it has been found that she has committed no offence and there's no complain whatsoever against her. Consequently, her German passport was returned to her.
▪︎ The Lawyers handling the case reported after the proceedings that Chief Sunday Adeyemo lgboho cannot be extradited to Nigeria for two principal reasons:

1. That contrary to insinuations, Nigeria and Benin have no Extradition Agreement.

▪︎ What Nigerian Government came up with were mere allegations against Ighoho such as trafficking in arms and inciting violence that could result in the social disturbance without evidence which the Government of Benin Republic considered spurious and untenable, and insufficient to warrant extradition.

Few days ago, news had it that the leader of Radio Biafra, Simon Ekpa was sacked for allegedly refusing to follow laid down rules of Biafra Radio.

The killings in Rivers State where over 500 Igbos were slaughtered by Governor Wike in Ibigbo (Oyigbo), they were killed and thrown to Oyigbo River, and for weeks, their bodies were seen floating on the river, BBC igbo didn't go for fact finding in Oyigbo Community to ask their King and community what happened?
In Imo State, over thousands of Igbos were slaughtered by Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, we are yet to see BBC fact finding in Imo State in the affected communities, where Abba Kyari killed and burnt properties of many Igbos in their villages in search of ESN.

In Ebonyi State, we didn't see BBC fact finding on the killing of Ebonyi Youths by Governor Umahi in Onicha LGA of that state.
In the killings by Fulani terrorists in Igboland, the number of people killed in each attack has always been under reported.

I have not seen BBC fact finding to each community that were attacked to get the exact number of people killed from those locals and not what the government want you to report.

Nollywood actress, Evan Okoro has cried out that her life is in danger over a movie she shot, titled: “Bigo Madness.”

Former Provost Marshal of the Nigerian Army, Major-General Hassan Ahmed was assassinated on Thursday night of July 15, 2021 in Abaji area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.

The gunmen kidnapped his sister, Safina Ahmed (initially mistaken for the wife).
A source close to the family said that the siblings were coming from Okene when they were attacked.
“They opened fire on his vehicle, he died. The driver pretended to be dead from the wound he sustained, so they took the sister away”, the informant said.

The Senate on Thursday, July 15, 2021 adjourned till September 14, 2021 after the passage of the Electoral Act Bill with the approval of the controversial Electronic Transmission of results with conditions.

In a Press Statement signed by the Special Assistant (Press)to President of the Senate,  Ezrel TABIOWO, FIMC, CMC, Fsca, MBSC available to SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS, http://www.sojworldnews.com the Senate settled for a clause which stated that,  "...transmission of results during elections, provided that such areas are adjudged by the National Communications Commission to be adequately covered under its national coverage and approved by the National Assembly."

Senate passes Electoral Act Bill, approves electronic transmission of results with conditions

The Senate on Thursday finally passed the long awaited Electoral Act (Amendment) Bill, 2021.

The upper chamber during a clause-by-clause consideration of the bill approved electronic transmission of results during elections, provided that such areas are adjudged by the National Communications Commission to be adequately covered under its national coverage and approved by the National Assembly.

The approval came following an amendment to Clause 52(3) by Senator Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi (APC, Niger North) during consideration of a report by the Committee on Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The amendment was seconded by Senator Ali Ndume (APC, Borno South).

The Committee in its recommendation initially prescribed that, “The Commission (INEC) may transmit results of elections by electronic means where and when practicable.”

This, however, was amended by the Deputy Whip, Senator Sabi Abdullahi to read, “The Commission may consider electronic transmission of results, provided the national coverage is adjudged to be adequate and secure by the National Communications Commission (NCC) and approved by the National Assembly.”

Senators Sabi Abdullahi and Ali Ndume argued that the blanket recommendation by the Committee for electronic transmission of results in all parts of the country would deprive some Nigerians resident in areas with weak or without network coverage from participating in the electoral process.

According to the lawmakers, in order to ensure fairness and inclusiveness for the electorates, particularly in rural areas, an all inclusive provision must be accommodated in the Electoral Act to protect their participation and votes during elections.

Sabi Abdullahi’s amendment received a favorable ruling by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, when subjected to a voice vote.

However, lawmakers such as Enyinnaya Abaribe, Thompson Sekibo and Albert Bassey Akpan, who belong to the opposition Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) disagreed with Senators Sabi Abdullahi and Ndume, insisting that the previous recommendation be retained.

Bassey’s counter amendment, which insisted for retention of the Committee’s recommendation as captured in clause 52 sub-clause 3, nevertheless suffered rejection when put to a voice vote by the Senate President.

Apparently determined to have their way, the Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe, while citing order 73 of the Senate Rule, called for a division.

In a bid to avert going down the path of a division, the Senate Leader, Yahaya Abdullahi (APC, Kebbi North) prevailed on his colleagues in the PDP rescind of their earlier call.

A defiant Abaribe refused all entreaties for him to withdraw the point of order, despite attempts by his colleagues to sway members of the minority party during a closed session that followed and lasted almost 20 minutes.

Rising from the closed session, Abaribe demanded that the contentious clause be revisited despite a couple of further appeal by the Senate President for the upper chamber to continue with the consideration of the report.

Sensing the Minority Leader’s refusal to shift grounds, the Senate President in an unexpected move took Abaribe by surprise and approved the request for division amidst called for voting on the amendment put forward by Senator Bassey.

Out of a total of 80 Senators present, 52 voted for the retention of the ‘Sabi Abdullahi Amendment’, while 28 who belonged to the opposition PDP voted for the ‘Bassey Amendment’.

The other 28 Senators that make up the 108 in the upper chamber, excluding the Senate President, were absent during plenary.

After the passage of the Electoral Act Amendment Bill, the Senate President, in his remarks said, “We have achieved what we have set for ourselves because of our commitment.

“We would all recall that at the beginning of the Ninth Senate, we resolved to have a legislative agenda.

“[And] in out legislative agenda, the Petroleum Industry Bill and amendment of the Electoral Act 2010, are pillars of what we have set for ourselves to do.

“Today, we have achieved those two issues.

“Secondly, the Electoral Act amendment, we have gone through a serious and probably torturous process to reach where we have by passing it.

“There was no victor, no vanquished in this affair. Everyone did what he or she did for the full commitment and realization that what we want is one and the same thing, but the path we have taken are different.

“We want an electronic transmission system for our electoral process, however, we want to ensure that no Nigerian is disenfranchised in this process, and time will definitely come when all part of Nigeria will have the coverage that we all need to deploy our technology to ensure electronic transmission of election results.

“This has come to settle the issue of what INEC can do and what INEC cannot. We have given INEC an electoral Act amended to enhance its performance.”

The Senate after the passage of the bill, adopted the Votes and Proceedings and adjourned till 14th of September, 2021 for its annual recess."

Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami was robbed at gunpoint on Monday night along Mile 2 Expressway in Lagos.

The actor made this known via his verified Instagram Page.
He noted that the traffic robbers broke his car glass with a gun and threatened to shoot if he fails to comply with them.

The stories leading to the death of Michael Usifo Ataga seemed to have no end with another COOKED UP story from his alleged killer, Chidinma Ojukwu after she has confessed that she stabbed her lover to death and pleaded for forgiveness.

Yesterday, another story emerged from Chidinma that she was not responsible for the death of Ataga because she went out to buy food when the incident was carried out.
OAK TV reporter spoke with the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, best friend of Ataga and his cousin, Barrister Franklyn Ufua.

CP Odumosu said, "that is the trait of African criminal, she was here we recorded all her statement at the State CID, we recorded all.'
Odumosu went further that if there is anyone thinking that the police doctored the statement of the suspect, that person is doing it out of mischiefs. He said the police risked their lives to get Chidinma Ojukwu arrested instead of people commending them they are trying to castigate them.
He said the police will not leave any stone unturned until they get to the roots of the matter.

The best friend of Ataga narrated how they tried to call and searched for the whereabout of his friend all to no avail.
The cousin of Ataga, Barrister Ufua said the diseased was stabbed severally while his hands were tied tightly to the extent that he had a cut on his wrist.

A struggling father providing for his almost due pregnant daughters in the suburbs of Buea. Theirs is not a beautiful story but an example of the reality of life especially in crisis stricken English Cameroon.

This family lived at Tole where both sisters (16 years old) were impregnated by the same boy of their age in their local community just before the armed crisis forced them to move to Muea where they stayed with their dad’s friend who breaks stones for gravel.
They had to leave yet again this time because of sexual harassment from their dad’s friend. Still pregnant they relocated to a community far behind Sandpit (Likoko) where they stay in a rotting plank house with no doors or windows. They sleep on a single mattress placed on the floor without a carpet and no blankets or extra bed sheets.

Their house is surrounded by a bush, a breeding ground for mosquitoes and a habitat for other dangerous animals animals and insects
Their toilet, accessible by a bush path has no roof but a single hole made in the cement serving as the floor. The slimy, shaky cement has been covered by algae and and branches and leaves of the trees surrounding it . For privacy there are two mud stained bed-sheets hanging at the entrance to the 3 block walled toilet with many holes..
This family pays rents of 5,000 FCFA monthly to stay in that house, they don’t even feed regularly because their father can’t find odd jobs daily.

A truth exploited by the local men in the area leading these vulnerable pregnant girls to bed which they accept in-order to feed.
Wonder how we met them? We met this pregnant girls when they came to the Solidarity Hospital Buea. We got their address and hired a car to their community to witness their living conditions and provide some basic materials.
With their permission we took this photos and videos to share their story to the world.
Their story is one of the realities of Poverty, Dispute and the lives of IDPs. It shows us the vulnerability of poor girls and the damaging effects of lack of education.
