The Nigerian Army (NA) has reacted to the ugly video that went viral on Thursday, September where a female Army Officer was seen putting a substance on a Corps Member while on her knees.

The Army in a statement on Thursday by Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, its Director Public Relations, condemned the “unprofessional” act and stated that it is “against established precepts of discipline in the NA”. Apologetic Nigerian Army also noted that Lt. Anele has been sanctioned.
The Nigerian Army’s statement reads: “The NA therefore, condemns in strong terms, this act of gross misconduct. Undoubtedly, the officer’s actions has caused the NA monumental embarrassment and is highly regrettable. This unfortunate act of indiscipline does not in anyway represent the NA and will not be condoned in its entirety.

“For the records, the ugly incident happened in 13 Brigade, Calabar. The Brigade Commander immediately instituted an investigation and the officer involved has been identified and sanctioned on the interim and would be made to undergo regimental orders (trial) in line with the extant provisions of the Armed Forces Act. The submission that the Brigade attempted covering up was therefore misleading, as the NA remains a professional force that has zero tolerance for indiscipline amongst its personnel.
“The NA wishes to reiterate and assure the general public that such infractions would not be tolerated from its personnel. The NA also reassures that the rights of the citizenry is sacrosanct and must be respected by all personnel of the NA, as any form of infraction will be severely dealt with.”

“Therefore, the general public is enjoined to continue to report such infractions, as Human Rights Desks in all formations of the NA are emplaced to deal decisively with such erring personnel.”
“The NA further wishes to tender unreserved apology to the victim, her family members, friends, National Youth Service Corps and to Nigerians in general for the unwholesome treatment meted out to the Corps member.”

Osun State Police Command on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 paraded suspected criminals who went on robbery spree at Ilesha killing a man and stole phone accessories worth N11,880,000.

The suspects, Saheed Lukman (35) and Adeolu Adeniyi (24).
Police recovered
(i) ONE EXPANDED AK47 AMMUNITION
(ii) ONE NIGERIAN ARMY I.D CARD
(iii) ONE EMPTY CATRIDGE
(iv) ONE DAGGER
The suspects were said to belong to a secret cult.
"On 10th June 2021, at about 2200hrs, the two suspects conspired among themselves and broke into a phone-accessories shop of one Ekundare Temitope ‘m’ at Conoil Filling station area round-about, Ilesa and stole away his handsets valued about #11,880, 000.00.
Two suspects were arrested and confessed to be a member of Eiye Confratanity.

Meanwhile, in the course of searching the house of the suspects, one empty AK47 ammunition shell and empty catridge together with one Nigeria Army I.D card with other incriminating items were recovered in their possession.
They are also suspected to have killed one man whose identity is unknown but suspected to be a rival cult group member. Investigation is still ongoing while the suspect will be charged to court at the completion of the investigations."

In another development Police Team on parade recovered a White Honda Saloon Car where the owners abandoned it on sighting the police they escaped into the bush. The car was among the exhibits paraded at the Command Headqarters, Osogbo.
According to the Commissioner of Police, CP Olawale Olokode, the owner of the car is yet to come forward to claim ownership of the car.

The Oyo State AMOTEKUN Corps have arrested three suspected ritualists with the fresh head of an elderly man in Ibadan.

The arrested suspected killers and the corpse of their victim were paraded in at a facility of the Amotekun corps in Ibadan.
Three suspects identified as Muhideen, Abdulrasheed Olanrewaju and Ismail.
The suspects have since been paraded while the corpse of their 73-year-old victim was recovered from a shallow grave. A spokesman of the Amotekun spoke during a visit by TVC News.

Speaking during the visit, the Amotekun spokesman said, "The suspects confessed that they use a traditional charm known as 'Olugbohun' to hypnotise their victims into following them. Once they employ the charm in speaking to any individual, the victim will be hypnotised and go with them. They captured their 73-year-old male victim in the night, but they kept him alive till the next morning.
In the morning, they took their victim to a room where the trio beheaded. One of the suspects strangled the victim while another held his legs. The ALFA brought the knife that was used in beheading the victim."

Speaking further, the spokesman added, "The victim's head was handed over to one of the suspects and he took it home. We arrested the suspect that was given the victim's head at his house, but we discovered that he had already burnt the victim's head in a pot. We brought the pot and the remains of the victim to our facility."

In a video that went viral in social media people were seen scampering for safety just as the sounds of sporadic gunshots were heard.
An SUV Car, Motorcycles were shattered with bullets while those who were caught in the midst of the confusion were made to lie down with their facedown. They were threatened on why do they want to bring Fulanis back into their land again (Biafra) after they have been warned.
It was later discovered after threats that the party attacked are members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Ex-Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Deputy Governor, Dr Obadiah Mailafia has cried out to Nigerians to pray for him because his life is in danger for speaking the truth.
Mailafia in a statement said some politicians are after his life to silence him forever.

The former CBN official had been the guest of the Department of State Services following his claim in an interview that a state governor was a commander of terror group, Boko Haram.
He made the claim while being interviewed on an Abuja-based radio station.
Mailafia said during the lockdown, the insurgents were moving and distributing arms and ammunition across the country.

He said,
“Dear comrades, beloved brethren, I have once again (for the 3rd time) been ordered to appear before the DSS at their Jos headquarters this Monday 14th September at 11:00am. This is in addition to our battle in court as my lawyer appears before a Jos High Court today, seeking a restraining order against the DIG Criminal Investigations Department, who are also pursuing me.
“I spent over 20 years of my working life abroad as a university teacher, banker and international civil servant with unblemished record. I have no criminal record not even a parking ticket. Sadly, it is in my own fatherland that I'm being subjected to criminal investigation and such extreme political persecution. Please, pray for me. I have reasons to believe that my life is in danger and that some powerful political forces want to silence me forever for speaking the truth.

A political movement known as Waziri Atiku Political Family and Associates (WAPFA) has reacted to the defection of the former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday, September 16, 2021.

In a Press Statement signed by the National Coordinator of WAPFA, Deacon Elijah Afolabi made available to SOJ WORLDWIDE , he described FFK as a man with a diarrhoea of the mouth with no political base.
In his words he said,

"We in the PDP are not bothered about FFk’s political move to APC.

At best we can describe it as good riddance to bad rubbish. FFK is a political liability with no political base. Femi is an opportunist with no Known means of livelihood.

Despite the education, like his father, he has no political ideology and he is known to be a thug, wife beater, with no settled family and a nuisance that has diarrhoea of the mouth.
An adult that cannot keep a secret and does not know what is morally wrong to say or reveal in public – that is moral bankruptcy!
Remi Fani-Kayode , the father was known to be a betrayer, a thug in the mid-sixties that led to the end of the first Republic.

Femi has taken after the father but in a worse dimension.
Since 1999 when Femi came into prominence after his rehabilitation in Ghana, he has assumed such undeserved prominence that makes a mockery of our Country and political system. A person that is incapable of winning his ward should never have been appointed a Minister.
FFK still has a case with EFCC for
misappropriation of fund at the Aviation Ministry.

Few months back Femi abused the Minister of Communication, Isah Pantami and recounted his bitter experience when Nnamdi Kalu paid him a visit, now he is praising thesame man.
Few months back he became advocate for Oodua Nation visiting Sunday Ighoho, now the APC is the best thing that has happened to Nigeria.
Femi abused Jonathan when he was with APC at inception, later crossed over to PDP to be part of the Presidential Campaign Team. He has been abusing PMB loudest, now he has become PMB’s praise singer.

Rather than be angry with FFK, I think we should feel sorry for the man. He is one of the children of the spoilt children of the rich. It would appear that he has personality disorder and most likely he has gone back to the ways that necessitated his rehabilitation.
Maybe he should be sent back to Ghana.
We don’t feel sorry for APC and our ‘Anti-Corruption’ President that was so idle as to welcome such a nuisance and openly contradictory person.
Like begets like. A man from Osun claiming to be a Lagosian with his polling unit in Abuja has no electoral values or relevance.
For PDP, we say good riddance to bad rubbish.

Nollywood controversial actress, Tonto Dikeh has said that she’s heartbroken as she would have to go offline on Instagram for at least 72 hours alleged breakup with her lover, Kpokpogri.

The actress revealed this in series of videos she posted on her verified Instagram page on Saturday.
She said, “I’m super heartbroken because I learned that I have to go offline for 72 hours. I don’t know why that is. I don’t know why I’ll have to go through that to get my Instagram fixed.
“For over a year, I’ve been stagnant. It’s telling me 6.8m but my backlog is showing 11-12 million or even more.”

According to the actress, she makes close to 50 percent of her money on social media and she sees it as her office.

Veteran Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola, this time, is not acting a script but he is angry against alleged BLACKMAILERS who are bent in bringing him down at all costs.

An unidentified man was arrested by the police with one out of his eight children packaged in a bag.

When asked why he packaged his boy in a bag, he told them he had eight children but because he could not feed them he had to put one for sale to feed others.

The gunmen who killed Olajide Sowore, the immediate younger brother of the Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore kidnapped five persons, according to the police.

Confirming the tragic incident, Edo State Police Spoeksman, Bello Kontongs, said the deceased was shot by suspected kidnappers.
He said the victim was killed at Isuwa community along Lagos- Benin expressway at about 6:45am.
He said the suspects kidnapped five persons who were travelling alongside the deceased.

According to him, the victim’s corpse has been deposited at the Igbinedion University Teaching Hospital, Okada.
He said efforts are ongoing to rescue the five kidnapped persons.

PRAYER CHARGE ON MANTLE
My Father, let the power of heaven and the Holy Spirit come upon this mantle now, in the name of Jesus.
I decree, by the decree of heaven, under the mandate of Calvary, that this mantle, when placed on my body, will cause the flushing of dangerous materials out of my body, in the name of Jesus.
This mantle will protect every organ of my body. It will cause my immune system to be stimulated. It will bring cleansing of my system internally and externally. It will protect the unborn babies. It will create a passage for the transportation of the blood of Jesus into every cell of my body. It will evacuate from my body every plantation of darkness, in the name of Jesus.
Let the fire of the Holy Ghost, the blood of Jesus and the healing power of God flow into this mantle, in the name of Jesus.
Father, by this mantle, make me a mysterious wonder, in the name of Jesus.
Father, let this mantle challenge ever hidden poison in my life and push it out by fire and by force, in the name of Jesus.

By the anointing that fell on river Jordan to wash away leprosy, Father, let Your anointing fall upon this mantle, to remove every external and internal yoke, in the name of Jesus.
My Father, convert this mantle to a serpent of Moses to swallow up all spiritual serpents troubling my health, my destiny, my progress, my breakthroughs, my finance, my career, my prosperity, my business and my spiritual life, in the name of Jesus.
Father, let this mantle become frustration killer, stagnancy destroyer, opportunity revival, a weapon of confrontation, the destroyer of yokes, glory revival, in the name of Jesus.
You mantle, I charge you by the power of the Holy Spirit and I command you to transport round my life, the healing virtue and strength of God, in Jesus’ name.

I do not need to reemphazise what pains lie ahead of us as a party [All Progressives Congress] if we as progressives handle power carelessly and lose grips of power in Osun state come 2022.

A visit to Oyo state  or Edo state our neighbours and its entire APC caucus in the last few years will tell us what it is to be in opposition and why it is extremely necessary for us to work as a team, while also bearing in mind the hazardous effects of operating as an opposition in a state in Nigeria.
If we have forgotten the 7 years of PDP rule in Osun state between 2003 to 2010 and the cost implications for us to regain the power on November 26th, 2010, then we can have a faint sense of what it is to be an opposition, we saw hell !..
Fortunately, we are better in governance and in many ways, putting into account our antecedents, compared to these people in opposition, especially on the use of government power and instrument of office.
These crop of men in opposition were merciless and ruthless; they are now tired, pretending and seeking relevance and want power at all cost.

At least in the last 11 years in Osun state we are better off; under our watch no opposition suffered illegal detention or run into exiles, unlike when they drove us here and there, murdered and maimed our followers in mass proportion and went as far as attempting to go after our principal, those were precarious moments for us as a party.
It is on record that Prince Gboyega Famoodu, Hon Akere and Alhaji Moshood Adeoti were unjustly rounded up at a time and sent to Prison in the name of power and its distasteful intoxication. These set of people also never cared about any infrastructural developments during their tenure in office neither do they think of being frugal or saving money towards the raining day, let alone showing care if their opponents ever live to see the next day.

These are what they were known for and that is what may likely be our portion and some of the likely consequences in stock for us should we fail to reconcile and yield to the cries of many of us advocating for peace, and of course peace and reconciliation accross board is what we need now and we should swallow our pride.
We have common enemies in these people. They are pretending and fooling the public as if they are saints. It is not about Governor Adegboyega Oyetola or about the former Governor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, our continuity is beyond individuals or their careers.
Oyetola and Aregbesola are made!

Protecting the platform [APC] and the sweet and enduring legacies of both Oyetola and Aregbesola should therefore be paramount in our hearts no matter what side of the divide we found ourselves. We do know the antecedent of these set of people in opposition, their penchant for holding onto power with recourse to public funds without direction or vision and at the expense of the people who they claim to govern. We cannot afford to retrogress, we are progressives and we should always be ahead of our political enemies in the larger interest of Osun State.
The All Progressives Congress is the party we should love and admire for continuity no matter the hiccups and we can see that the civil service populace is today enjoying relative peace of mind under Governor Oyetola.
Currently, there is regular payment of salaries and maintenance of law, justice and fairness to the good citizens of our state, the complete opposite would painfully become the case for the opposition who are now out daily praying and making rituals for our disunity, sickness and for our ailments to know no bounds. If God should forbid, we men of honour too should close ranks and forbid it too.

Let's not forget that it would not be as progressive as usual under them, for they would ensure only their welfare and pecuniary interest are given priorities, and probably to embark on probing of one ministry or the other for 23 hours a day instead of sticking to good governance that we all are enjoying today.
Merry making and daily partying and serial enjoyment at all golf clubs in the state would never be enough for them and mind you, they would be ready to overstretch their unnecessary eagle eyes and tentacles for probe to start from 26th November 2010, the era of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to may be eternity and to jettison good governance. That is their stock in trade and plan for us.
All ongoing jobs and projects which are putting our state in comity of noble states would remain abandoned for life and the legacies of both Oyetola and Aregbesola would become white elephants projects in their infantile and prejudiced eyes whilst any of us ranting today would now become helpless and may become regular guests of ICPC or EFCC over phantom graft cases.

Let's not forget that in each democratic election so far held in this country, power to govern is usually granted to the winners of those elections, to those who understand me very well, power depends on the user... Unlimited power to these awaiting hungry men and women would cause several downward review of salaries, immediate dissolution of Local Government Councils and total stoppage of all that matters, and in their usual selfish nature their immediate families would become their priority at the detriment of the entire state.. ..It is more or less unlimited power they would get and as well misuse.
To what extent are we therefore prepared to just be a 'living being' under the watchful eyes of those of our people whose interests we are serving today, and whose interests we have suffered? All these opportunities to work for mankind would be lost if we continue to play non challant attitude towards the way we handle power, the consequences we shall all bear. I wish our dear party success as well as the great and principled people of Osun State.

The thunderstorm that struck on Sunday evening of August 29, 2021 has killed two unidentified female teenagers of same family in Ikirun in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State.

It was learnt that the incident happened at about 5pm in Ogo-Oluwa area of the community on Sunday.
A resident, Mary Ojuolape, said the siblings were crossing a field in the area as rain was drizzling when the incident happened.
She said, “They were crossing a football field of a school around the Ogo-Oluwa area when they were struck down by the lightning as crowd gathered around the corpse of the two siblings.
