My husband’s own ain’t ready yet and we did biometrics same day.
My timeline
Biometrics-26/8
Interview-27/8
Transferred to VAC 10am 17/9
Received mail 2:30pm 17/9
Passport received 4pm 17/9

No second interview

The hand of God brought all our visas today, after interview questions like only me they go UK and sleepless nights of tracking and waiting for decision
Timeline
14th August: Main Applicant application
15th August: Dependants application
19th August: Dependants biometric
26th August: Main applicant biometric
27th August: Main applicant Interview
10th September: Application transferred to VAC
10th September: applicant at doorstep of TLS without receiving collection email , but collection mail latter came
10 September: All visas received.

Yes. End date is the date the BRP expires.

All students choosing VI application Center have to pay. People who use the Center have paid. Am afraid you can’t change your Center except you want to cancel your application.

This happened to a colleague, immigration compliance team told him to renew. I will suggest you leave the renewal until when you travel, you might need to pay extra for your visa(vignette) to be transferred to the new passport.

I kindly need a clarification on my passport. I did my biometric and interview on 4th of September, meanwhile my passport will be expiring in the nxt 6months starting from 22nd of September 2020, which means the expiring date is 22nd of March 2021. Please I wish to ask? Can my study Visa of one year be stamped on my passport, considering that, I had done interview before my passport reaches the 6months expiring date and there was no way I could have renew my passport before 22nd of September?? By God grace , you will get your visa. You will only need to apply to renew your passport in the UK. There will be about 3 immigration checks before you complete your studies, this depends on Uni. though. You will have gotten an email notifying you to renew before the last immigration check or so. No course to worry, you still have a valid passport.

You don’t have to worry if the amount remaining after the deductions has not fallen below your maintenance fee.

Please is there any pattern as to when TLS usually free up dates? I got 24th of September for my biometrics at Ikeja and its late. Please any advise on how to get an earlier date will be appreciated.

Keep refreshing the page, there is no specific time as to when dates pops up. You have to sacrifice to remain online and get a better date. Better still you can share your login details with your trusted friends who can keep searching for you too.

One other thing please, did your IHS summary page indicate that "you don't have any dependants", even though you answered "yes" to traveling with dependants in your visa application form?

Nope.Dependants application is quite different, from their applicant, they will fill in who they are accompanying or joining in the UK, your GWF number, Int. Passport number, relationship and so on. Main applicant pay IHS with his/her application while all dependants do same on their own application.

CAS does not need to reflect dependants as schools are mainly concerned about the main applicant. My CAS does not include my dependants, but I uploaded my CAS with their supporting documents during visa application.
