I think you need to start counting from the following day after you deposited the money (the gurus can confirm).
And also, it'd be really great for you not to be in any unnecessary hurry.

Not sure if this is quite correct. The rules may vary from TLS to TLS, but when we did a walk-in at TLS Ikeja with dependants on their date, we were asked to pay the 42k (which we had planned to pay anyway).
I'd advise you go prepared to pay if they ask you to, and while hoping that you won't.

You don't have to pay a penny. I used my dependant time and date and i didn't pay a dime. As long as there's an appointment for that day and time, you're not supposed to pay.

I am asking because, I don’t get a closer appointment. I got 24th September when my school resumes on 14th September. But for my dependants, I was able to get 19th August with prime time appointment which am planning to go in with them since I am the main applicant then pay 42k for flexi when I get in. Would have suggested you do same, but since you don’t have , keep trying. I am looking out to amend mine may be I can escape paying 42k. If dates pops up will alert you. Cheers

I just started my application tonight and the health surcharge calculated for me is $2040, I’m applying for tier 4 dependents visa. What can I do to rectify this? How long will my application stay before it expires? Please its urgent, help!

Go back and check your application, there is a mistake somewhere. Check course start and end. Review the application. I applied for 2years and paid $1020. Paying $2040 is amount for 2 applicants. Review the application

You have to get the date first, then click on it premium or prime time. Selecting it before searching for date will be stressful

Hello, I’d like to ask a question on behalf of a friend. I answered but I want to be sure if I said the right thing.

Her question: “I want to ask about the bank statement - if I send in my application online today, does that mean the funds should have already been in my account for 28 days already?
Because my money is going to start counting from next Monday and will be up to 28 days next month. So can I still send in the application online today or do I have to wait for the 28 days mark before applying ?”

My response based on @mimilyrics prev answer: “pls don't submit your application before the 28 days duration as it will lead to a refusal since the money wouldn't have spent 28 days in your account before your submission. You can book for an appointment (for a date when the 28 days must have been completed). Booking a date is not mandatory on uploading of statement.”.

With my payment, $1020 for IHS and $473 for visa fee. I find out that your circumstance( course start& end date, location of institution etc) will determine how much the system will bring for you to pay. Paid with my dollar card

Yes you can. But advisable to pay in a token amount prior to printing the statement.

Do you mean 31days old on the 9th?. If yes, then you have to re-print.

Please what as transaction got to do with the statement of account showing one's proof of maintenance funds? I deposited my funds since 30th of June without any transaction in the account till 15th of July, only for my sch rep telling me that I would start counting my 28days from the 15th of July and then make another transaction a day before I print out the account statement. Gurus in the house I am lost at this very point.

With my understanding, that advice is true. Since the day of payment that you start the account does not count . E.g, you made all your deposits on 10th June, for you to be able to track that payment as your closing balance, it is Adviced that you deposit to that account on the 11th June so that when you want to print you can print your statement from the 11th June which will capture your deposit on the 10th as your balance . If you are going to print out the statement after 28th day which should be 8th July, it is advisable to make payment (say 1k) on 8july and print your statement on the 9th. I stand to be corrected. But this had worked for me.
