I called the Embassy yesterday and the lady told me that once my school lecture date starts , my visa application can’t be considered anymore, even after I told her that I have already been enrolled with the school and having my lectures online, I don’t know why German embassy here is treating student visa in such a manner.
Do anyone have any a good news for student visa because I don’t understand going on with German embassy in Nigeria
I don't understand, what does she want you to do about it now... This is a new rule or what?

Hi read through some of the pages of the thread, got some insightful opinions and I appreciate.
Am new to this visa stuff and would appreciate helpful answers to my questions.

Please I would love to know the process involve in gaining admission and getting a student Visa for an affordable college in Germany, I'm a HND graduate and I studied Banking and Finance, and would love to further my education, I would also appreciate an insight on the amount needed to make this happen, thanks
Go to daad.de

It is hard to get Msc admission with HND....focus on Bsc..... Try some Msc program but send an email to the course coordinators first before applying.

Send a copy of the email you got from the alien office to the embassy in Lagos, also try to send copies of your correspondence to each parties when next you email them. It’s easier to clarify such mix ups.

All the best
I forwarded the emails to each party....

Experience people in the house, how do I handle a situation me conflicting information from the alien office and Lagos consulate....

The alien office responded to my email that they have completed processing of my application that I should contact embassy... I sent a separate email to embassy and called them the next day asking about my application status, they responded two days later that they are still awaiting answer from the alien authority.

Is there a mix up somewhere or this is normal? I have already completed my enrolment and I submitted it during interview. And I rightly informed them that my school has already started lectures for winter .

2 ways
Option 1. Form A - this will use CBN approved rate to transfer from your local account to your blocked account. This will save you a lot of money as the rate would be lower than bdc. I have contacted some banks and I got an encouraging feedback from 2. I will be going to their branch on Monday to try it and I can update you as it goes.

Option 2. DOM account - source for euro from bdc, deposit it in your DOM account and do the transfer.
Stop giving people information on something you have not tried before.. Using form A is a bad idea, people who tried it regretted it, it wont work and the banks will start telling you stories... The option 2 you gave is what people have used successfully and access bank is the fastest with that

Thanks for your swift response, how about Nigeria address on his admission later won't that be a constraint when applying at Ghana more so how about the 6-month residence permit will that not affect him?
Wot just said he has a Ghanian passport, what's the need for resident permit then... Why are you confusing yourself or you are just telling us lies here?

Please is there anyone that knows how to go about moving to Canada from Germany. I will be rounding up my MSC early next year in DE. I will like to pursue a phd or another MSC there.
What is your field of study? You can do Canada PNP or you can start applying for phd/masters from Germany now

Thanks. Some banks allow you to use Form A and transfer from your Naira account using CBN approved rate, which is way lower than sourcing from bdc.
Form A has always ended in tears don't try it.... Those bankers will give you assurance but it will end in tears

Hello, German Hopefuls,

I know it can be a confusing question to ask but anyway.

Apparently, I canceled and re-booked my appointment application early this month because they said they reset the whole thing in September.

Now that the date I put in is fast approaching (Nov 2), yet no news.

Do I cancel again and choose a later datehuh?

I know I am not the only one in this situation, please what to do.

NB: Orientation and lectures are online for the first semester though I have a letter of presence from the school.
Stop wasting your time, the embassy will not give you date again for winter start of studies... What smart people have done since October 1st is to book again with a summer start date like mif or end of April....Defer your admission to summer or start applying for summer admission now so that you will be ready when the AD comes

Good day everyone,

Please can I book an appointment with the embassy without a funded account? I have opened the blocked account and it would take a week for the transfer to get there. At what point will I need the confirmation that there's money in the blocked account?

Thanks
Use access bank... It takes maximum of 48hrs....Open a DOM account with access bank, fund tie DOM account then tell them to do international transfer from that DOM account to your block account . Carry your admission letter and all necessary documents to show that you are a student

Evening guys.

I heard something of recent. Someone told me that a student can enter Germany claiming he's there just for visiting purposes and once he's in Germany he can go to his school and change the Visiting Visa to a Student Visa.

Wanna ask if that's possible?

And also if there's anything like a Visiting Visa as regards travelling to Germany?

Thanks for your response.
Na you get Germany?

Hello boss. I just got an unconditional offer of admission for an M.Sc in a school in Berlin, for Feb 2021. I need to make the initial school fees deposit, then I'll be sent documents to start the visa process. I'll make the deposit by Friday. If I start the visa process by end of November, can I still meet up February 8, 2021 deadline? The delay till November is due to the blocked account processes and raising the 10k euros.

Kindly assist on best way forward
You are asking confusing questions, please be careful not to waste money... Why don't you start reading from page one of this thread or atleast from tie middle me this part 8....I don't even understand your question not to talk of answering you

Just say they recharged your line and maybe did share n sell to their respective lines... for you to say they bought airtime for themselves is a big NO for me.. prove me wrong.. i will be waiting
My bank is access bank... They actually TRANSFERED ALL MY MONEY TO A NAMED BANK ACCOUNT

Exactly what happened to me,bank is gtb.the guys stole the phone from me in a napep and transferred 30k they bought credits tru my mtn sim then transferred to their numbers which I tracked all n have their numbers.I also have my IMEI phone number for tracking but sarz asking for a fee and that its 50/50 so I just shunned.
As u suggested tho,I have put a phome lock and sim lock.
The one that happend to me two days ago... They actually transfered the money to another account. They didn't do recharge with it... How where they able to do this without my PIN? Could it be somebody close to me that has my pin? Or is this possible without my PIN...Because even me that has the account cannot transfer money without my PIN
CrimeRe: How They Hack Your Details by SOLARPOWER1(m):
Hello house... This is my story of what happened to me two days ago

I entered keke and while I got home I noticed my small Nokia touch light phone was missing before I knew it I started receiving email Albert's on my bank accounts, the first alert was account balance check, the second alert was a transfer to another account number with a name, I saw the name of the receiver on the transfer details description while the third alert on the second account was a self recharge..

. I called mtn to block my phone number that night but the puzzle I am still trying to resolve is how did they get my 4digit PIN to do the transfer? Even the bankers I spoke with could not explain this to me.

Hi everyone. Please I just want to confirm something with those who know better experienced. If you book for appointment twice with same email, does the embassy cancel the initial automatically? Is this a big risk or something we can consider?
It is not possible to book appointment twice... The system will tell you that your passport number has already been used... If you are able to book twice, it means your initial booking was automatically cancelled without your knowledge

Hello house, I need advice on behalf of someone. I'm using myself as the person so as to make the wordings easier.

I'm into a business with a startup manufacturing company as a distributor in partnership with someone whom we share profit and commissions accrued in. The company started last year and has been growing since. I get at least 500k and above per month depending on the sales volume.

I have passion for IT, so I applied for a data science course in Germany and I've paid for the semester contributions. I have zero German language knowledge but plan on learning there to get a better opportunity.

Meanwhile, if I go for masters I will have to terminate my current opportunity. I'm using money realized from ds business/contract.

I need advice to know which one is better off for future purpose, considering Nigeria economy...

Ur bitter and kindly truth is needed especially from those in Germany or who has the experience.
Thanks to everyone in advance
Case 1: If money is your motivation
You are living a very comfortable life "financially" right now in Nigeria ...Unless you are lying, you don't have any business travelling out to Germany.

Case2: if academic pursuit is your motivation
The first thing you have to consider is your age now, and how far have you gone as regards hands on skills in the area of data science, because even go Europe you still have to learn everything yourself...How sound IP your programming skills, are you a intermediate in the area me machine learning/deep learning Mr you have not really started... I know friends who are regretting leaving Nigeria and I know one who recently got a professional job after graduating in DE and all his complain has changed to smile... In summary just know coming to Germany for financial purpose only is a 50/50 thing... And leaving a 500k business that has the capacity to get better is a risk in itself.... Coming to Germany is like starting from scratch again... Do you have the passion and time (age) to embark on such journey

Personally anybody receiving above 350k in Nigeria should not bother leaving Nigeria to DE for financial reasons
