As I mentioned earlier, Loan companies work with selected schools
External Loan companies like Prodigy, Mpower & Lendwise give funds to international students to pursue studies, there are also numerous companies that are listed on the every university finance/funding page

This is the kind of Heathier discussion i love, people dishing out things without abuse.
One more thing you left unanswered.
Is the loan for those already in UK or those yet to come?
Clarity need to be make.

@Dafa thank you so much for your clarifications on the loan. I know what I mean when I say people get loans. @solatium, you just don't understand me. Am still trying to apply for my Visa, my school (CRANFIELD UNIVERSITY) has approved lend wise as one of their loan bodies and these people give to international students if they can provide their credit report. So I need loan for school fees and maintenance fees .

I will return back to This plaform with testimony if am successful. Am applying with 3 dependents ( husband and two kids)

Thank you for the clarification, everyone felt you were already in the UK.
i wish you all the very best and speedy positive approval to your request.
All the best all the time

Question2:
You guys don't get it or will I say you guys did not understand this guys question. He has not applied for any student visa neither has he presented POF to UK for student visa. He wants to study but he does not have to foot his bills and pay his fees. He needs to borrow enough money for both his tuition fees and living expense (POF) in order to enable him pursue his dreams of studying in the UK. He can actually borrow this money from anywhere in the world but he wants to borrow it from UK and they are requesting for his credit report score. There is nothing wrong in what he wants to do. People do borrow money for study purposes and they pay back when they graduate and start working. This is easier for UK citizens but he is not a UK citizen. He heard that some people that are non citizens of UK has succeeded in borrowing money and financing their studies, so he wants to give it a shot. Please, let us not crucify him.

We are aware of all that, but he/she was speaking like someone in UK already on student visa which was why we cautioned.
of course you can go source for money from anyone to finance things as it stands, but if you ask me it is not a wise decision to go for a commercial loan that comes with around 30%-60% interest rate in some cases,it is suicidal

What is the danger in getting a student loan, these loan providers profile who they give funds and these funds are limited to a number of schools. I don't think you understand the OP, Student loans can also be used as proof of funds (payment), they pay directly to the school, which will then reflect on your CAS.

Stop advising peeps on what isn't clear to you, Most Ivy league "Russell Group" students finance MSC, MBA with loans,

Probably you don't get the full gist.
Student loan's for AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS with NO RIGHT OF ABODE is what the issue is centered on.
Not Home Students.

You can get loans as an international student,

One can only apply for a student loan before the commencement of the program, the schools work hand in hand with the loan companies, so payment are usually paid directly to the school.

Really? well thing's are changing.
But that arrangements is it before the student applied for Visa or after landing in the country?
Is that through a bank or Some private arrangements or some loan shark? .

Why not share a full insight to educate us and some others who are in her situation.
Names of those organization will be of Great help to others.
Thanks

If care is not taken..apart from increasing pof requirements Ukvi may start preventing tier4 visa from working...thinking it will make people genuinely come with their own funds..

And it makes more sense simce they are now giving 2 years post study...no work during study..work after garduation

Rough play if you are on tier 4 visa...
Very rough play...

Besides....its on your visa pasted on your passport that you are not entitled to public funds....please read it....unless u are not a student visa

The people you see applying for loans are either non Nigerian students or nigerians on another visa...they are probably citizens or people with indefinite leave to remain status...

People pay back loans by monthly instalments with a job....if you already have a job...u dont need a loan to survive....

if you need it to pay your tuition balance....thats rough play ooooo plus witchcraft oooo, because you have showed proof of funds that you have your full tuition before visa was granted.......

Abeg no let UKVI change POF requirement from 28days to 180days like canada....we all beg you

Leave am make she dey proof right.

How do you mean showing them a statement full of money, I never did and am not missing road when I say I need loan for my studies because many others apply and get it, so why would you say I shld not spoil road for others coming behind me. Definitely whatever loan I get, I will surely pay back. People get study loans to cater for their studies.

Your Proof of funds was what I meant.
i am yet to see a someone on study Visa getting a loan, those who are getting students loans are either a CITIZEN or RESIDENTS with permanent status and i don't think that law has changed to accommodate you.
If your immigration status qualifies you for one you should have gathered a bit credit scores to qualify you for one.
You don't even need to look out for one, once your banking record get up to 3 months, they already have opened a credit file on your data.

The last time You brought this issue here some of us told you the danger of applying for a loan in UK if you are on a student Visa,i don't know why you guys rarely listen until when it becomes a problem.
When you were applying as a student you showed them a statement full of money, how come your bank account became empty all of a sudden? that is what they will be saying to themselves, this your action will surely backfire not only on you but other coming behind, because the implications is they will doubt every documents coming from Nigerian's.
I beg you i. the name of whatever you worship not to spoil road for others coming behind you.
Drop this idea of seeking for a loan from UK institution until when you have an immigration status that qualifies you

Apply for your visa, state the time you stayed in South Africa for, there is a section where you can explain your situation regarding the missing stamp. As long as you have your TC with you.. i don't think you'll be the first person to have lost and found their passport. Sometimes we overthink this whole visa process but whatever you do make sure you declare your stay in South Africa.

TC will be collected at the point of entry by the immigration and it is usually valid for a single journey with 30days validity.
Always be sure of what you are dishing out as an advice or else you go complicate people's case.

Lol first of all I don’t have any reason to come here and lie because I won’t gain anything from it
Your number one point, I was advised to use TCto come back home because I have overstay during the time I was waiting for decision which was a year wait so obviously when I get to the airport and I want to fly it will automatic ban for 5 years which I don’t want such on my passport because I know I still want to use the passport for another country, nothing like deportation because I went myself that I was leaving their country and as for you saying I used another person’s detail to exit the country you are wrong I used my details so forget that I can’t do it,if you have ever heard of SA TC before go and ask or read about it to be more informed
Your 3rd opinion of you have never heard of long term visitor visa before, go and goggle SA volunteer visa and read about it,you will get everything you need to know about it, I won’t come here and be lying about what is not ok…
And you asking how I was able to maintain myself I have a good business running in Nigeria which I get money from and I also sell goods Instagram in SA to get money,I hope you know we are in social media age you can run your business online anywhere you are.. So oga don’t come here to judge me as if I carried the worlds sin on my head,na opinion I asked for I don’t commit any crime. My stay in SA was clean and straightforward just that I did not get my visa renewed which am not the only one in that situation and I left the country already…Reason why I came here was to ask questions as not to leave any information out on my application to the UK, I want to know maybe I should submit my old passport with the expired permit along with my new passport,is that too much to ask?? Oga abeg calm down no one is going to be banned in UK because I don’t lie bout my application. If you don’t have any contribution don’t come here and judge me you can as well overlook my write up and forget I asked for your opinion

You can't hold a Valid passport and be issued with a Traveling certificate,it has never been heard of,the only circumstances to Travel on TC is when your Passport got missing and the issuance of TC invalidate that passport.you can't reenter on a passport that was declared missing or destroyed with a police report to back it up, except you travelled on another person's details
You are not speaking to a novice here.

You Sponsored all your trip while Volunteering for a church and allow your business to run on autopilot?
Dey deceive yourself.
Since you already have answer to you question, why ask us here? go ahead and run your UK package yourself.

The visa is allows me to stay in SA and work as a volunteer for 3 years and it allow me to go in and out of SA if I want for that period of 3 years, which I do come to Nigeria and go back for that period.. Note I work in my church as a volunteer the visa was given to me under the name of my church. So when I came to Nigeria 2020 to renew my passport I entered SA back to submit the renewal December 2020 before it expired in January 2021,I have already submitted for the renewal which I waited for a whole year before the decision came out and it was refused.
As to why it was refused, they are just not ready to renew visa for a lot of foreigners including Zimbabwean and co so the refusal does not apply to only me…Reason why I jejely pack my load when the decision came out because I don’t want to continue staying since I don’t have a valid visa again

Volunteer for 3yrs?
who was responsible for your feeding accomodations and your flight tickets back and forth?
Under what immigration section were you denied?
what was the role of your church during renewal process?
You need to come clean before you can get help

Good day people of God
I am new here
Please I need your input on this my story
I have been living in South Africa since 2018 with long visitor visa of 3 years…They call it voluntary visa here…it expired 2021..But before it expired I put in for a renewal which I did not get the decision for up to a year, January this year…Anytime I asked about my application they are still on it no approval yet because they’re working remotely, so January this year I got the decision and it was refused,I was asked to appeal which I did but the decision is the same last month.. I had nothing to do than to go back home but I went home with TC since I don’t have a valid visa on my passport again. So now am applying for UK visa
My question is I don’t know my chances as per visa approval because of my passport as there is stamp of entry there when I entered SA back 2020 dec before my permit expired January 2021but my passport was not stamped when I was coming back home this year.Note my expired permit is on my old passport, because I came home to renew my passport that 2020 and went back to SA with the old and new passport but the new passport was stamped at the point of entry..Please should I submit but my old and new passport when applying for UK visa and back it up with reason why my passport was not stamped when I was returning to Nigeria this year? Please help your input will be much appreciated as to how to go about it

You want a genuine help, yet you lied all through your writeup.
i do not need to be an immigration clearance officer to know you are not straight.

1...You came home on TC to dodge question of over staying and possibly ban and deportation, obviously you came home on someone's details.

2..You do not need a visa to exit to your home country, your Valid passport is all you need, another childish lie.

3...I have never heard of Long stay visiting visa.

4.. What job did you engage in on that long visit? how were you able to sustain yourself all through those months?.

Just come clean so that we can tell you the honest truth before you go chop another forever ban from UKVI

Hello everyone,
Please can I add more money to my POF account (Dom) and use it to pay for my IHS and Visa fee while it is still maturing. Will it restart the 28 days?

For as long it doesn't fall below the required amount, you are safe,it can go over, infact it will add credibility to that account once they spotted you paid Visa and IHS from it

Hi duchess! How are you doing?
What happens if a person submits student copy transcripts that weren’t signed or stamped but were printed on letterhead with contact details? Please, be nice with your responses. Can it result in a visa refusal? I stupidly didn’t check to be sure it was stamped and signed before submitting it for my visa application.

You ask for a honest opinion and still want the person to be kind with her response? no be the truth you wan hear?
Well if that is what u included before CAS was issued be certain that HO already have it.

Good evening good people. Nice to be here.

I have a concern.

My wife is the principal applicant and we have two kids.

We did biometrics on d 5th of this month (may).

Concerns.

I forgot I had been rejected visa to the US some 5yrs ago and I didn't indicate it while filling my form.

Now it's two weeks down the line can I still retrieve my application
Could this affect my wife(Principal applicant and the kids) if it does affect me

Kind advice plz.

Is your refusal base on forgery?
if it's base on that, tendencies are high that they might share your data with other western nation.
if it's just an ordinary refusal, you might be lucky to get away with it.
but i wonder why some of you always claimed to have forgotten your past refusal,my Nigerian in me tells me that you guy's deliberately concealed it
