The point of entry part it rarely happens especially if you’re traveling solo , but ! No one can tell if you might be ‘unlucky’
Just have some cash with you & hope for the best.

University College Birmingham gave me and unconditional offer and ask that I pay compete 14,500 before CAS.

I don't have such funds to pay as deposit.

Is it okay to mail them and ask for a payment plan?

Anyone with same or similar experience should please advise.

With apologies to this fellow, I make this complaint.

Please, how can I handle this situation I found myself in this shared room.

I am someone who likes and respect peoples privacy and mine a lot and this was why it took me time to opt for a shared apartment until things got out of hand and I had to settle for it due to lack of sufficient funds.

The issue is about this fellow. The first night I got there, after a few mins she just went completely unclad. In my mind, I thought it was because she wanted to bathe, that she'll probably get into a nighty once she's done but to my surprise, she didn't. And the way she goes about unclad, bending in front of me is so disturbing. I feel like telling her to cover up a bit but I know I can't.
I know the weather is hot but hey... we need to show some decency here.

The first night I did that nonsense but that was after the light was turned off but yesterday, mehn... I couldn't continue so I wore my panties and later covered up a bit with wrapper but she'll just come and open everything waaaa... And its getting on my nerves.

This has got me wondering, so this is how this students leave their bodies anyhow?

I'm still trying to absorb everything about this new lifestyle because I've never seen such before. Though, when I was living alone, I used to go to sleep the way God created me. That is because I'm all alone. Not when someone is around. I can't

I asked the man in charge if I can put a partition, he said the fan would disturb it otherwise, I planned to call a capenter to come and partition my space. Its not too late. I might still get a mobile partition by weekend if I find something nice.

Hi guys. I need someone to calm my nerves and tell me I am worrying unnecessarily. I applied to about 15 schools on the 29th of April for masters degree course in digital marketing. One responsed with a conditional offer (IELTS) but they are not accredited for the course. Bournemouth university asked me to upload my passport last week Thursday which i did on Monday.

I haven't heard from them or any other school and I am getting worried. Time is of the essence and I don't want to miss September intake.

Any advice will be most appreciated.

My sister was given a ban of 10 years this week, because she didn't state her previous student refusal and appeal.

This refusal was 13 years ago and it was our older sister that did all the processing. Hence she didn't remember to mention in this recent application as she didn't even remember at all.

Please do advise on how or what we can do at least to remove the ban - It wasn't intentional.

I work in a neighboring county(Benin) where VISA is not needed for entering. When applying for VISA with UKVI,would they ask for anything like VISA apart from the employment letter by the organisation I work with?
As it was started in my letter of intentions that I work in a neighboring country.

It is advisable that you leave the money in your account after the visa is granted and also till you enter the UK just Incase the immigration officers ask to see your proof of funds at your point of entry.

This is difficult situation for me, my mom's house has been left uncompleted since 2014 just the foundation and probably 2couch were placed ontop since then it's been there because she had to send my siblings and I to higher institution. Now am of age, doing quite well for myself. I think am finally ready to build a house, was thinking about getting a land 100 by 50 and raise 5 bedroom flats... but on the other hand that my mom's building had been left uncompleted since it's a family land, relatives are starting to say somethings and sometimes I could see the shame on my mom's face when she goes to her family compound. Almost every months they always call her to come clear it that it has become harbor for snakes and pests. So I thought why don't I just complete it for her first.


The issue here Is immediately I told my fiancee she said it's a good idea but kicked against it. That I should build mine first, before completing my mom's. That it can wait.

I also confided in a friend of mine, he said almost same thing, that my thing is different from our own. Saying am not the only one my mom gave birth to, if I complete it now I should be ready to share it with my siblings no matter what when the time comes.

I'm confused and need advice on the step to take. I would really want to complete that house for my mom I Know it would mean a lot to her..I'm really confused.

One way or the other somebody has to develop it, if I the first son don't do it now that am financially stable. Then my younger bro will do it, trust me it won't make sense that way that's just my fear.

My personal observation while flying from Abuja international airport to Port Harcourt international airport.

I noticed that Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport aerial view is arid and scant settlements dotting the entire landscape. A first time flier jetting into Abuja will have a negative impression of Abuja city even though the city is one of the most beautiful in Africa when we consider the city center.

Conversely, while landing in Port Harcourt the beautiful vegetation that endears one to the beautiful nature surrounding the airport.

Yes it guaranteed if you follow the guidelines, PSW is easier to get than the student visa. You dont need any money in your account for 28 days, no TB test required. PSW is the attraction and thats why students are flooding in.
The amount of students coming to the Uk has doubled just because of the PSW visa , the Uk government in itself cant afford not to grant a high number of PSW visa, they are extremely short of skilled workers.

They are making loads of money on visa application, but its nothing compared to what they need in terms of skilled workers. Any average Joe knows that. Your submissions on the issue sometimes seems short sighted.

Get a student visa, follow the rules and graduate, [b]then apply for your PSW visa, you are almost 95% certain of getting it.[/b]The number of students coming in would drastically drop if the number of PSW visa's are not aligned with that.

After BREXIT, alot has changed. The government recognises that as well and are trying to bridge the gap as much as possible too, they are extremely short of skilled workers. The real catch is the PSW visa, the student visa is just a means to an end .

I think you need to actually read the guidelines of the PSW visa in its entirety to have a grasp of the conditions. Please stop scaring people

Of course not everyone will go to Harvard. But to say ranking is not a factor in securing a job post study will be entirely false.
Ranking is important, it should be considered ALONGSIDE other factors.
