Yes there’s other factors like your course (if it’s in demand), your qualifications etc but please check the ranking of the schools you’re applying to. Most people just focus on cheap tuition without checking ranking.

Ranking only comes to play when applying to jobs at what I called top rated employers,your grade and your depth will secure you a Job,you can then use experience gather to move on to better jobs.

If you have more than enough,you can risk it even if it doesn't go as plan you will have something to fall back on.
But it is better to go and weather the storm first,then move the family when you have a job that guarantees your stay.
Coming back to resettle in Nigeria after 2yrs gap no be something one can absorb o.

Yes you and few other people here are giving those who are planning to use fake bank statement false hope. The whole point of verification is to determine if the money the applicant claims to have is available. If you used fake bank statement and get away with it then it makes that checks were not made by the embassy.

Embassies do verify bank statements and that includes the availability of fund and banks corporate with such request else your application will be refused if your bank refused to corporate with request from the embassy.

Banks have image to protect , they got no business trying to cover your crime.

I know High commissions and embassies have Forensic team who compares documents to "determine" the authenticity of it IF THE DOCUMENTS ARE IN DOUBTS
I know for sure that those embassies and high commission have Prototypes of those documents supplied to them by those authorities concerned.
I know for sure that it is practically impossible to present all documents to the bank for verification,it means the banks won't do anything for the day except verifications,it also means application period will drag on excessively.

i think what they usually do is random verification in 80% of the time and specific verification if the supplied documents don't look like a known samples.

If you are cork sure that the fund is in your account as of the time of the decision,go ahead with the AR, ake sure you notify your school by sending them the refusal note so they can petition the home office.
it's a straightforward case,that is if you are sure the fund's wasn't moved before decision.

My friend is in a dilemma.
He's been dating a girl for over 3 years now and she has decided to travel abroad for her master's. He's footing about 70% of the bills so they decided to do a court marriage last month so they can move together and start visa application by July as she's already gotten admission.
Now the issue is someone advised them that their marriage date is too close to the visa application date and that it might raise red flags as the marriage might be viewed as a sham marriage (even though it isn't).

Data protection is not limited within agencies or interrelated agencies,data protection law can only be applicable when it comes to 3rd party or unrelated parties as defined by law,in this case data can be exchanged between the Border force/ Home office and any parties vested with authority to access his/her data.
By saying unified system there are agencies that have limited access to some level of Data, Bank's,Job center, DVLA are few of those.

Deliberate concealment of information or Deliberate misinformation is criminal.

I have a clarification to make please.

I was refused visiting visa in 2006 and 2008 but can't find the letters again because of long passage of time.

Additionally, I have secured an admission to one of the UK universities but because of comments I read here about reluctance of schoolsto issue CAS upon learning about previous refusals, I did not declare the refusals while applying for the admission. My intention is to the declare the refusals during the visa application stage.

The issue now is that I've been scheduled for pre-CAS interview and I'm wondering if I should still maintain my earlier position or mention the refusals in the questionnaire requiring i indicate previous refusals (if any). Further, will this affect the chance of obtaining the CAS and ultimately visa?

Please, over to you our experienced gurus. Kindly assist.

Why would you hide your refusals?
refusal is part of Visa application as there is no where it was stated that granting you one is guaranteed.
Hiding it is even more criminal,they will find you out as UK has a unified system,your DOB and your name is all that requires.
