yes I did and they responded by saying ukvi said my application isn't straight forward. I received an empty nsf on the 13th day. No documents has been requested for since then

If you are serious about January, You don't have up to month-end. You need where you can get your passport the same day or next day (My opinion). That means you must apply through the PCO and bribe him with a handsome amount

We did Biometrics Aug. 1. Yesterday made it 6 weeks that my wife (dependant) did Biometrics and yet decision hasn’t been made on her application. I (Main Applicant) got collection mail since Aug. 30. Escalated her application Aug. 29. Called yesterday and it was still awaiting decision. I don’t know what to do anymore. This isn’t even giving us a chance to prepare.
Anyone going through this too?

Is it possible to get nsf mail a week after biometrics(dependent) was checking my mail on my phone and all of a sudden something is telling I deleted a mail which could be an NSF, o boy this thing don dey turn madness.

Very very Possible,most of the people i have seen get their NSF the first week, it's nothing to worry about just follow the instructions and you will be fine

Honestly, I’ve lost all excitement concerning this uk relocation. The thing feels more like a burden to me than a blessing. I haven’t felt peace since this journey started. It’s been from one hurdle to another. To get admission wahala, to get CAS wahala, to get bio date wahala, to get decision wahala. I did credibility interview and a decision was made 1 week ago, yet I haven’t gotten BRP mail or collection mail. This thing has really affected my mental health. I feel so unlucky.

The applicant  passports are never with us. We have written to your VAC, as hundreds of applicants like yourself still didn’t get their passports, despite the visas being issued in July/August.
 
The VAC told us that the passports are with the local DMC. We have contacted the DMC multiple times, there is no response.
 
Kindly chase your case with the DMC and the VAC, as we cannot do anything or see any updates once the visa is issued.
 
We have nonetheless been trying to chase the VAC and DMC without any luck and will keep doing so.

Like I said in my previous post I am not sure if CBN has changed their mind. It was an information passed to MMU prospective students to take advantage of Form A as early as possible .I believe the post by MMU was not to mislead because they even did tutorial of how to generate invoice on their end for Form A . All they said was use Form A early. Which is what I stated. Mind you this is Nigeria. We all woke up one day and saw our card could no longer do international transactions. So anything can happen. But if you have inside information from CBN feel free to share because it looks like you have .

they want you to make Early payment so they can have their money before time.

If that is not convincing to you and you believe someone will wake up one morning and put a stop to form A.

If your initial POF was submitted for CAS issuance i will advise you stick to the same route because your POF might have been passed to the HO , switching may cost you.

Guy just admit you were wrong and stop all this merry-go-round. The issue was about TB cert at POE and you claimed an immigration officer has no right to ask for that because TB cert is required for visa processing only. That has been proven to be wrong both officially and practically. You were even told an immigration officer at POE can ask for whatsoever document he feels is relevant to your entry and you claimed they can not try that with you (who are you again?). Talk is indeed cheap.


Guys, hold your TB cert (e no even heavy) in your carry-on and whatever document you feel can be asked at POE. Cooperate with 'em immigration officers and enter successfully cos that is the whole idea. Good luck.

That statement was a response to Lagos Airport,not at the point of entry, it is very rare for a foreign immigration officer to ask you for customs requirements.
it's a common thing here, sometimes ago when I was about boarding a Dubai flight,my last point of clearance was NDLEA and this young officer stood in front of me asking for my hotel reservations, i told him point blank that is not his job,guy man comot for road for me to pass.
The moment airport officials perceived you are a first time traveller they will intimidate you and exploit you till you even part with your BTA.

Immigration officer at POE can ask you for anything, they can delay you as long as they want until they get a satisfactory answer from you. There is very little you can do other than corporate with them.
